Inheriting new funcionality without modifiyng reports

Hi, I wonder if there's any possibility to make any working program (at least reports) to inheritate some new functionality when running.
I mean, supose you have 50 programs in prod syst and want to deploy a new functionality that affects the 50 reports without modifying every single program. Anyone knows if there's anyway to accomplish this requirement?

Say for example that every Z program leaves a log and a Z table pointing that logs, if you go to ZREPORT_A transaction and (push/navigate throug the context menu/whatever...) you can call a new screen to show the entries for the given Z table regarding this ZREPORT_A...
The fancy thing is not to create a Z report where you can read and output this table, but straight from the selection screen, and not editing the whole package of programs...

Unfortunately, XL Reporter will not copy the VBA project across, even if you base your report on an Excel template. I think your only option is to store the code in your Personal Workbook.

How to limit row number per group without change new page in crystal report

Hi All Expert,
Is there any way to limit row number per group without change new page in crystal report 2008. The reason i do that is due to customer using printer EPSON LQ 300 (dot matrix) always will print in landscape if detech my layout in landscape. Because they need the record always print in 1 page (Letter size) for 2 groups and each group must show 5 records. Example:
But, in CR2008, if you set the row per group from group section expert, definitely it will change to new page, but I do not want it change to new page. Any Idea?
In one page (Letter size):
Group Name: Customer-ABC
NO INVOICE AMOUNT
1)   INV001     USD100
2)   INV002     USD100
3)   INV003     USD100
4)   INV004     USD100

Because if you have one common group for all the 10 records then in one page it will show 10 records under one group.
I mean i think it is not possible but m not completely sure......

SAP provides include structure CI_QMEL for QM10 transaction.
so create CI_QMEL Structure and add field as u need.
But after that u need to assign it some where i don't know , check with ur funcntional consultants.

How to purge the config without deleting reports

Hi all,
How to quisce the config without deleting reports from reports tab.
first I quisced and retired and then try to create the sonfig with the same name" it showing that name already exists"
If I purged the config and created the config with the same name, its creating successfully but all the reports are deleting.
Out TP is firing on us, if we delete the reports in reports tab.
Please suggest with new idea.

create the new user without any admin acccountThis is a DBA job, and your DBA hasn't given you the system password. Ask your DBA for CREATE USER privilege if you need to do this as a non-DBA user.

Can I create report in anyway without using reporting studio client

I am creating reports from hyperion reporting and anlysis.
I want to know, is there anyway of creating reports from workspace?
If not then how can I create reports without accessing report studio client.

In 9.3.1 (at least) you have to use the FR Studio, I'm pretty sure it's the same in 11.
What happens in the workspace if you select from the Hyperion/Oracle menu:
File/New/Document
In 9.3.1 there are options for:
- Interactive Reporting
- Web Analysis
- Report Books
- Batches

Hi Zluky,
Select your Report and then go to Properties of the report
Click the Plus sign next to Page layout and uncheck start on new page.
If you are using section then you will have to select the section and then do the same.

Should i restart the OAS 10g2 to show the new modifcations in the reports

When i deploy a new version of a report [rep] to the application server 10gR2 the new modifications on the new version does not appear , the old version still valid until i stop and start the application server again .

I got a new computer recently and don't have my old laptop, which has all of the songs in my Itunes on it. I have all of the songs on my iPod touch, is there a way to transfer them to my new computer without having the old one?

Error while creating a new layout in a report.

I am getting this error message:
Failed to save data.
Error occurred when creating xml data.
when I try to save after I create a new layout in my report.
Is there some common problem with templates that could cause this to happen?
I'll continue to look around for an answer but if anyone would like to see the template and a sample set of XML data so they can help me figure out what the problem is, that would be swell.

1: Create new layout.
2: Upload RTF Template

How do I use my iPhone 4s with a new computer without losing all my data?

Basically long story short my laptop just died, I can't get it past the start up screen and have subsequently lost all my music, files and iTunes Libary - and yes I know it's dumb of me not have a back up and I will not be making that mistake again - I have purchased a new laptop running windows 8 however as my iPhone is synced with my old laptop it will not allow me to sync with the new one without losing all of my data. Now I manually managed everything bar my apps on my old laptop but when I check to manually manage eveerything on the new laptop I obviously get the error message I will lose data when it syncs to the new laptop and I don't know what to do.
I've lost all my music before and when I don't have my old files to back up what I lose I'm at a loss... can anyone help?
If I click to manually manage will I just lose my apps as this was the onlyu thing synced with my old laptop? I can cope losing these....
