Insert the SR Type in a weblink

Hello,
I would like to create a Service Request from an existing SR. Everything is auto-populated correctly except the SR Type. Is there an issue when we put the field +&ServiceRequestEditForm.SR Type=%%%Type:_Serial_Number_-LIC%%%+ in an URL? If I replace +%%%Type:Serial_Number_-_LIC%%%+ by a value, its works well.
Here is the link:

Thanks in advance,
Laurent

Yes, I know, but I do not want an exact copy, just some specific fields to be pre-populated.
Thanks

  • ME21N : Avoid to insert the condition type

    Dear.
    When I access to condition view of the purchase order position , I need to avoid to insert every time a specific condition type (RA00). How can I do in order that this condition type appear in the pricing elements automatically ?
    Thanks.

    You can achieve it either thru creating an access sequence and assigning the same to the condition type thru customization follow path SPRO - Material management - Purchasing - Conditions - Define access sequences.   Later assign the access sequence to conditon vide trasnsaction m/06.
    Incase of achieving it thru master, you can then create an inforecord for the material/vendor combinations and all the conditions maintained in the inforecord could flow automatically.

  • How to determine the MIME types of the files?

    I'm making an application, in which I've to upload the files to the database. Now I want to insert into the database the MIME type of the files. Now how can I know that which type of the file is having which MIME type?
    where can I get the list of all supported MIME types?
    Even if I get the list, then every time I update the file in the database, so every time I have to check the file extension and then insert the MIME type...
    this seems to be a tedioius job..
    Is there any simple way to do this?

    I could ask "supported by what?" but I assume you will
    be the one supporting them. Here's a link to the
    latest list of registered MIME types.HERE's the link...

  • Wscompile insertion of schema types into wsdl file

    The <types/> element is empty in my WSDL file after I compile the web service with wscompile. The operation parameter type is String. I am using Apache XMLBeans. How do I configure wscompile in JWSDP 2.0 to insert the schema types into the WSDL file when it generates the WSDL?
    Thank you,
    Glenn

    The targetnamespace is used define the namespace for the definitions made in your schema.
    For example,
    <xsd:schema
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    targetNamespace="foo">
    <xsd:complexType name="fred">
    </xsd:complexType>
    Then "Fred" will be in the "foo" namespace
    And if you had another schema in your wsdl like
    <xsd:schema
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    targetNamespace="bar">
    <xsd:complexType name="fred">
    </xsd:complexType>
    Then you would have two "fred" types one in the "foo" namespace and one in the "bar" namespace.
    Then later on in your WSDL you could refer to either one.

  • Creating a step type "launcher" that would insert the appropriate built-in or custom step type at edit time

    Hi everybody,
    I'm looking for tips, pointers,directions... to be able to perform this operation in TS 4.0 sequence Editor, if it's even possible...
    I'm managing a test system with a "home-made" virtual instruments abstraction Layer complementary to IVI classes for instruments which do not have classes defined, customizing the sequence editor accordingly for developpers of my department.
    So basically when the instrument is IVI, the developper uses the built-in IVI step-type type and when it is not, he uses the the custom step types that I developped for this particular class of instruments.
    However there are classes where I do have both IVI and specific drivers available and I do need to use both in the test sequence.
    For example let's say there are two sources of DC power available in the testbench, one being a programmable IVI compliant DC power supply, and the other one composed of fixed "blocks" of DC power supply managed by externals relays and you need to use them both in the test sequence.
    What I would like to be able to do in the sequence editor is inserting the appropriate step type at edit time just by selecting the source of power supply (by a ring or enum for eg), and if the first ressource is selected, it inserts IVI step type, and if the second ressource is chosen, it inserts the appropriate custom step type.
    Any Ideas on how to accomplish this ?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello Cyril,
    Here is an idea that could be done:
    You could create a dynamic step by having a step that holds all the properties for both configurations (the superset of the necessary variables) and an extra one that indicates which 'mode' the step is in.  Then you create the main Edit substep in whichever language you desire.  That substep window will then have a box/dropdown/etc. at the top you can use to choose between modes A & B.  When the user changes the value, you would dynamically change the rest of the window to contain the appropriate properties for mode A or B.  You then copy the property values in that window to the Step properties, and copy the mode to your variable and you can run the step in that mode.  When the step then runs, it checks the mode variable, and depending on its value, it will run the step in mode A or B.
    Now we could add a dialog that allows us to choose when we put a step down but we should still allow the user to change later via the Edit substep we create.
    I don't think we can create something that inserts a completely different step, but we can have one step that has the ability to do both and we can pick which one we execute.  Also note we still don't have the ability to edit the Panels for a step, so we have to use a new window that we call from our Edit substep to complete the step.
    Hope this helps.

  • Inserting a node in XML and retaining the doc type

    Hi All,
    I want to insert one new node in an XML. Using the following code I can do that. But the problem is if the XML has doc type declaration then its giving me problem. After inserting the node the transformer is removing my doc type declaration from the XML. I have to retain the doc type definition (including entity declaration) as it is in the original XML file.
    The following is the code that I'm using.
    Document vDoc = null;
    try {
    // Contruct the DOM document
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
    vDoc = builder.newDocument();
    Node vFormNode = vDoc.createElement("Form");
    vDoc.appendChild(vFormNode);
    // Convert into a String the DOM document
    TransformerFactory tFactory = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
    Transformer transformer = tFactory.newTransformer();
    DOMSource source = new DOMSource(vDoc);
    StringWriter sw = new StringWriter();
    StreamResult result = new StreamResult(sw);
    transformer.transform(source, result);
    catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println("Error: " + e.getMessage());
    }The doc type def. in the original file is some thing like this.
    <!DOCTYPE article SYSTEM "someurl/TFJA.dtd"[
    <!ENTITY T0001 SYSTEM ".\BTN_A_000112809_O_XML_IMAGES\BTN_A_000112809_O_T0001.gif" NDATA GIF>
    <!ENTITY F0001 SYSTEM ".\BTN_A_000112809_O_XML_IMAGES\BTN_A_000112809_O_F0001g.gif" NDATA GIF>
    <!ENTITY F0002 SYSTEM ".\BTN_A_000112809_O_XML_IMAGES\BTN_A_000112809_O_F0002g.jpg" NDATA JPEG>
    ]>I know that I can set up the doc type definition in the new XML using the following properties of the transformer.
    transformer.setOutputProperty( OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_SYSTEM,"article" );
    transformer.setOutputProperty( OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_PUBLIC,"my DTD def");
    I cannot hard code the DTD def. as it can vary from one XML to another. Using doc.getDocType() I can get the doctype of the original XML. But is it is not returning the complete def. including entities declaration. Its giving me "someurl/TFJA.dtd".
    Is there any way to retain the complete doc type in the original XML file? I don't have much experience in XML and this issue is eating my head.. Also do I have to modify the DTD to accommodate the new tags added in order to make it a valid XML?
    Any help and sample code would be highly appreciated.

    Hi,
    I also had similar requirement and when searching i came across this post. Later i found the solution for this. Instead of hardcoding the doctype you can get it from Document as follows..Snippet from the code i used..
    DocumentType doctype = document.getDoctype();
    if(doctype != null) {
                   String id = doctype.getSystemId();
                   if(id == null || id.length() == 0)
                        return;
                   transformer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_SYSTEM, id);
                   id = doctype.getPublicId();
                   if(id == null || id.length() == 0)
                        return;
                   transformer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_PUBLIC, id);
    Hope this helps.

  • Insertion in XML Type table and fetching the data in Pro*C

    I have a Pro*C program written which populate one temp table. That temp table is used for writing the records to a flat file and then the table is purged by this program itself. Now my requirement is to write a new procedure in this progarm which simultaneously populate new XML Type table. Also i have to write some other procedures/functions to query the XML type table
    in Pro*C. I am new to XML part of database. Could somebody suggest how to go ahead with this problem

  • How to insert the sysdate time into the database

    hi all,
    when i execute the following query,
    insert into table_name
    (date_field)
    values
    (to_date(sysdate, 'yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss'));
    The value is inserted as 08-02-12 12:00:00. In this query, it always stores the default time as 12 a.m.
    But i need to insert the original system time not the default one.
    please help me how to rectify it.

    I do not understand as to why you are using the to_date function on sysdate since sysdate is already in date format.
    If date_field is of the data type date, then the following dml should work.
    insert into table_name(date_field) values (sysdate);
    In case date_field is a varchar2 field and you want to store the date and time in a string format, then the following statement should work.
    insert into table_name (date_field)
    values (to_char(sysdate, 'yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss'));

    With Best Regards,
    SDN user.

    Hi,
    You canr use text modules in script. You have to use standard texts .
    Standard text are maintained in SO10 transaction.
    you can create translation text for other languages also . So based on logon language it will print translation text.
    go to SO10
    give textname it say Ztextname  id as ST and language as EN
    say create, then you will get editor there maintain your text and save it . then come back . Now change language (say for german DE) say create and eneter translation text and save it.
    so now you have created a text called ztextname which you can use in your script.
    Inorder to insert the texts in your script do as below
    go to any window editor and   select path
    Insert->texts->symbols->standard symbols
    then you will get popup  in which you have to mention all the parameters that you have created earlier.
    after inserting just change language EN to sy-langu
    Reward points if useful
    About text elements Sravan already given some informatiomn

  • Is there a way to get the correct order from the dependent types of a sche

    Hi ,
    I have a CT facing the following problem:
    When trying to built a SQL script to create all the object types within a schema using the DBMS_METADATA packages.
    Did insert in a table the names of the types that will be exported following a concrete order, next loop into the table and call the DBMS_METADATA package for each row.
    These type are depedent between them, there are some type attributes calling other types and here the issue
    First : try to generate the order by created column of dba_objects and when the generated SQL script is launched a lot of type appearing as incomplete state due to the order isn't correct.
    Second : try to insert the table ordering by object_id colums of dba_tables view, it appears incomplete types too.
    Currently want to insert the table using a recursive query with connect by against the dba_type_attrs starting with the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null (the types that are called by other types), but this way has a issue dificult to resolve: the roots of hierarchy are the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null and we've dependencies between roots nodes
    The question is is there a way to get the correct order from the dependent types of a schema?
    Platform: IBM SP AIX
    DB version: 9.2.0.7
    Any help will be appreciated .
    Thanks in advance.

    The xxx_dependencies view should give you the dependencies betwee nthe various types. I would look at something along the lines of:
    SELECT object_name, referenced_name
    FROM (SELECT o.object_name, d.referenced_name
          FROM user_objects o, user_dependencies d
          WHERE o.object_name = d.name(+) and
                o.object_type = d.type(+) and
                d.referenced_type(+) = 'TYPE' and
                o.object_type = 'TYPE')
    START WITH referenced_name IS NULL
    CONNECT BY PRIOR object_name = referenced_nameThe outer join between user_objects and user_dependencies is required to generate the names of types which are not dependent on other types, or do not have other types dependent on them.

  • How to format this string 7414;#Butler, Heather at the same time handling the data type

    I need to insert a nvarchar type column with data like 7414;#Butler, Heather   into a int type column, but only with the number before the before the character ; in the mentioned string.
    In the above case only 7414 needs to be inserted into the in type column of another table. This integer value need not be restricted to 4 characters. It may be 3 or 5 characters too or anything.
    Any help is appreciated....

    Extension of Li's sql
    Try this
    declare @s varchar(50)
    set @s='74146;#Butler, Heather'
    --set @s='74;#Butler, Heather'
    Select cast(cast(substring(@s, 0, charindex(';',@s)) as CHAR(4)) as int)

  • How to retrieve the action type of a PA40 action?

    Hi there,
    I am trying to find out the way to identify what was the action type for the personnel action that is just being executed. I will try to explain myself with a concrete example.
    Let's take the hiring action.
    A user goes to PA40 and initiates the action to hire a new employee. The program will then start guiding the user through the different infotypes defined within the infogroup.
    Let's say that the order is IT0001, IT0002, IT0006, ...
    I have setup table T779X to call a Function Module of my own after inserting IT0006. At that point in time I can know that the IT has been modified through transaction PA40 (sy-tcode) but, how can I know what action is being executed?
    Thanks

    Jim,
    Actions can always be found afterwards in IT000 indeed
    My problem is that I need to know what action type was initiated in REAL TIME. When I am debugging the batch for IT0006, after the user initiated an action through PA40
    Thanks for the answer anyway

  • Custom PL/SQL API that inserts the data into a custom interface table.

    We are developing a custom Web ADI integrator for importing suppliers into Oracle.
    The Web ADI interface is a custom PL/SQL API that inserts the data into a custom interface table. We have defined the content, uploader and an importer. The importer is again a custom PL/SQL API that will process the records inserted into the custom table and updates the STATUS column of the custom interface table. We want to show the status column back on the spreadsheet.
    Defined the 'Document Row' import rule and added the rows that would identify the unique record.
    Errored row import rule, we are using a SELECT * from custom_table where status<>'Success' and vendor_name=$param$.vendor_name
    The source of this parameter is import.vendor_name
    We have also defined an Error lookup.
    After the above setup is completed, we invoke the create document and click on Oracle->Upload.
    The records are getting imported, but the importer program is failing with An error has occurred while running an API import. The ERRORED_ROWS step 20003:ER_500141, parameter number 1 must contain the value BIND in attribute 1.'
