Hp Mini 110 1013tu Keyboard is Not working after upgrade to win 7

Hello need help on weird happenings to my keyboard..
Before i upgrade the Operating System From Windows XP to Windows 7 the Hp Mini 110 is working fine..
All keys on keyboard is working and touchpad is also working.
But after upgrading to windows 7 some keys on keyboard are not working like z,x,c,v, left ctrl and other more keys..
what do you think is the problem??
Hardware Issue? or Driver Issue?

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand some of the keys on your keyboard are not working after installing Windows 7.
I do not see any drivers available for your notebook for Windows 7 on the HP website, so their might be some compatibility issues as it's going to rely on Windows update to find current drivers. This doesn't mean it will not work, but I cannot say for sure that it will.
Try this:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
4. Click Region and Language.
5. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
6. Click Change keyboards...
7. On the General tab, make sure English (United States) - US is selected in the Default input language field.
8. Click on any other keyboards in the Installed services list.
9. Click Remove.
10. Repeat for all other non-English (United States) keyboards.
You may also want to try rolling back to Windows XP and see if the issue persists. It is possible the issue is coincidental and not the direct result of the update to Windows 7.

I recently bought the mentioned netbook and have some hardware-related questions.

P/N: VB703PA#UUF
Does an 800Mhz RAM compatible with this unit? What is the motherboad of this unit, what is it's specs (the motherboard).
I noticed a SIM slot yet I can't see the Mobile Broadband device on WinXP's Hardware device listing. What seems to be wrong? Does the device ship with the unit as a package?
Off-topic:
Is there a downloadable Recovery Disc (where I can reset it to factory defaults or the same) available for this model?

i think 800MHz Ram should work, has processor supports 667Mhz, ram will be auto set to 667Mhz or 533Mhz
there is one wireless power on/off switch (right side) to the opposite of your Mains Power On/Off switch
it should be Blue when you turn-on wiFi & bluetooth, you will only see WiFi connection when you are within some WiFi connection range...
Windows XP is pre-loaded, so i think you can run recovery...

No audio device installed after windows vista sp2 update

Ok I will try to be as thorough as possible because I want to fix this problem and I hope somebody can help me.
So A few days ago There was an update for my audio driver so I accepted.
But after this update my sound worked but on next use the sound was gone.
So......I used system restore but no help the same thing happened
I went to the hp website to look up my audio driver for my model which was conexant audio 221
After download the driver wouldnt let me install it. I go to check in device manger to install it manually and the sound section is gone literally so i cant reformat or reinstall or anything 0.0
Somebody told me I need to upgrade to windows vista x64 sp2 which was in windows update.
So i tried it and still the same crap
I cant install the sound driver because there is no place in the device manager to install it to
I just get a message saying device installation failed device not found
i dont know what to do
My laptop is a hp dv2700 special edition notebook

"No audio device installed"? Help?

I have a dv9500 that I got from a friend, I keeps telling me that there is no audio device installed and won't let me play sound. The obvious answer for me is to install and audio device...but how do I do that? I'm usually a bit computer savvy, but I'm lost on this. I would really like to be able to have audio, How do I fix this?!

If you click on the "Start" button and right click on "Computer" and select "Manage" and then after the window opens, select "Device Manager" in the list on the left... when it opens up, you will see the list of devices installed and check to see if you have a sound/audio driver installed. Let me know what you see. I'll keep trying to assis you.

2 GB Memory upgrade for HP Mini 110-3025tu

I recently bought this laptop HP MINI 110-3025tu
Specs
-atom n475
-1gb DDR2
My problem/our problem is this.
When i installed a new 2GB DDR RAM into MINI 110 and turn it on, it show black screen and no LED blink, just power button light on
then i remove the new RAM and install the original one into MINI 110 and turn it on again, it still got black screen
Please tell me if i can do something to fix this problem

Yes, the issue is with Memory Controller on N455/N475 processor. It is having issue with working, with any and every DDR3 memory module...Here is on going thread, where couple of memory module are listed, that reportly is working...

No Audio device Code 10

Hello all
I have a HP sv5405 laptop that had a virus. Reinstalled XP from disk as this machine had no recovery partition.
I downloaded all drivers from HP site but there is no sound card driver available.
I have downloaded Realtek xp driver and all is installed except Audio device
Have been to Realtek, Intel with no success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled etc. Would a bios update fix this problem?
Why is there no driver on the HP site?
Where do I get it from? Can Win 7 be loaded? Are there compatable drivers for 7?
I am pulling my hair out. Can anyone advise as to what to do next before I go bald ?

We don't want you to go bald so let's see if we can help out!
Sometimes you have to download and install the MS UAA driver before you install the audio driver. Did you do that?
If not, please uninstall your audio driver and install the MS UAA driver for the service pack version of XP you currently have installed.

I cannot find you model anywhere. I did find a zv5405 but not an sv5405.
Are you sure you have a Realtek audio chip? I'm assuming you knew this before you had to reinstall XP?
Using the driver from the Realtek site should work fine.
Windows 7 capabiltiy...
Download and run the free MS W7 upgrade advisor which will report if your PC can run W7 or it will report its shortcomings.

No Audio device on G31M3-LV2

This one really stumps me. Just assembled a new system using G31M3-LV2 mainboard and installed Window XP Pro. I have no audio (HD audio is enabled in the BIOS). I have installed the Realtek drivers. When I go to Control Panel>Device Drivers>sound, video and game controller it shows all the usual audio codecs etc. but no audio device and when I go to the volume control is says "No Audio Device". I've tried everything and cannot install the audio device. Am beginning to think the audio portion of the mainboard is dead, everything else working perfectly.
after looking deeper in the forum I answered my own problem. Installed the microsoft audiobus and problem was resolved

HP Mini 110 - No audio after replacing hard drive and installing XP

My wife's Mini 110 recently died and I had to replace the hard drive. I got everything up and running fine except for the audio. The driver on the HP site for the 110 will not install as it says that there is no device installed for that driver. In the Hardware list, there is a PCI Device with a question mark and I cannot get it to find a driver. Even after installing the chipset driver and flashing the bios there is not audio device working.
Can anyone out there help? I'd really appreciate it!

HP Mini 110-1033ca don't want to install the IDT Audio Drivers.

Hello everyone.
I brought a new HP Mini 110-1033ca from Casco in Canada when i visited my Godmother. Now i am back home in Germany and i installed Vista on it.
Everything got discovered properly and everything works. Except the Audio!
I downloaded the IDT Drivers on the HP Webpage and installed them as told in the instructions. But after starting the Setup with the IDT Splash Screen an Error Message came up saying, The detected Hardware is not supported by this IDT-Softwarepackage. Now i redownloaded it and tried it several times, but always the same Message. I even tried to install the Drivers from the swsetup folder manually with the Device Manager but the Device Manager says, the operation was just denied.
Now i was pretty much confused what to do.. I looked up several things in the Internet, tried different Drivers and stuff, i really tried everything i can imagine to get this baby to work, but i couldn't figure it out how to get the Audio Device run.
I have no idea how to fix it, because the Drivers from the HP page which are for this Netbook tell me they aren't so please, if you have any idea please help me.

On Your old HDD, on partition C there may be folder SWSetup. There are always all extracted SP files with drivers. If You have it find there audio driver and paste here which was for Your audio (Full name of catalog. Example: Sp23142. Something like this. )

HP Mini 110-3131DX static audio after reinstall

I had to reinstall Windows 7 starter on my Mini 110-3131DX after which there was no audio, I have tried installing the driver from the HP.com and CNET without any success. There is no yellow question mark icon against sound under device manager indicating that installation of driver was okay. However when the speakers are made to test, just a quick static noise is heard.
Have been working on the resolution of this isse for several weeks and so now seeking help. Thanks in advance.

I see that you reinstalled Windows 7 starter and your audio has static. You tried updating drivers from HP and from CNet but the issue remained.
HP recommends using the drivers provided on the driver web page for you notebook. If you install a different one that has not been tested the outcome is unknown.
Downloading or Updating Software and Drivers for HP Computers
Although you do have sound here is a link that may help. No Sound from the Speakers (Windows 7).
When you reinstalled Windows 7 starter how did you do it, from the recovery option or from a disk ?
Here is a link to the HP Mini 110-3131dx PC Drivers. Try deleting the driver not uninstalling it and then reinstall the one from the HP site.

New MacBook Pro Unibody Jun 2011 - No Audio Device / No Output Device Installed. Please Help.

Dear All,
I have installed OSX Lion on the 20th July 2011 and the problem started with the audio device installed. Itunes wont even play and iDVD and you tube would work without audio. I have tried everything from system diagnostic re-booting back to original snow leopard on 10.6.7 including taking it for service. The audio works intermittently when I re-start my MacBook but eventually disappears back to square one. Until restarted again.
I am still under my 90 days from purchase date and the problem is I am no longer in London where I originally purchased the MacBook from - I moved to Delhi, India with my family and they don't have geniuses here only local service/ technicians who already tried fixing the problem.
Very disappointed after spending nearly £1,600.00 for this.
I don't want to go back to the local service centre for them to restart my MacBook to prove audio device is working.
Is there any other option for me like refund or replacement?

I have updated latest iTunes 10.4.1(10) 64 bit.
I have updated latest OSX Lion: 10.7.1 Build 11B26
Still the problem occurs. When laptop restarts the sound stays for 5-10 min before shutting down intermittently. In iTunes the music will not even run - other applications such as YouTube - it will run but no sound.
I have tried everything now and I am certain it must be a software connected issue I am experiencing only.

HP Mini 110-1030CA headphone audio jack: low-quality

So, the headphone audio jack seems to only give me low-quality unintelligible sound. I've seen various posts about installing the Vista version of the IDT driver, but that didn't work. I don't mean that it didn't solve my problem, I mean it didn't install at all.
So my question is this: has anyone got a defninitive solution for this? Or should i just keep fiddling with it until i give up and take it back to the retailer and make them deal with it?
