Instalar cuenta correo gmail sin problemas

Buenos dias.
Al tratar de añadir una cuenta gmail a mi mac book pro, me aparece un error al iniciar la instalacion, relacionado con el usuario y el password. Lo he revisado mil veces y son los correctos. Sin embargo sigue saliendo error.
Que debo hacer?

Hola, tengo el mismo problema que tú con una cuenta de gmail. Quería saber si finalmente has conseguido solucionarlo. Yo de momento lo único que he conseguido es recibir el correo reenviándolo a otra cuenta que sí me funciona. Un saludo

GMAIL IMAP PROBLEM (can't duplicate mailbox in apple mail)

I am seriously at my wits end! It has been about a week and I am still having huge problems with my gmail imap account in apple mail. At first, my sent messages were not being imported into apple mail (only about 30 days work). After a bunch of fiddling and trying to fix the problem (deleting the account in apple mail, rehooking up the account, rebuilding the mailbox, switching off IMAP enabling in gmail) the problem has only gotten worse.
Now, only 1000 emails from gmail are sent into apple mail. I know there is a setting within the gmail prefs to limit the amount of messages in an imap folder 1000 but, I have that turned OFF.
As of right now my apple mail shows about 1000 messages in my inbox and 250 or so in my sent mail. None of the mail is from before 12/7/10.
The only thing that seems significant about that date is that I set up another IMAP account on a temporary macbook laptop at a temp job on that day in apple mail (the account has since been deleted when I stopped using the laptop).
Ugh, this is so annoying and frustrating. I often need to look in my mail archive for old messages/attachments.
I can't seem to find any help anywhere, but if you can offer me any advice I would really appreciate it!

I don't know if this is relevant... but…
Last year, when I set up a second, temporary Gmail IMAP account, I found that all did not jell well together…
I encountered quite a few problems… sending and receiving… transferring to and from the accounts… and lots of Hangs and Time Outs…
When I had eventually finished with the second account, I not only deleted it from Mac Mail, but Completely Closed and Deleted it with Gmail.
Since then I have had no such problems with my single Gmail IMAP account…
As I said, not sure if this is relevant to your Problem, but thought it might be of interest to you.

Que tal Eric, Mira despues de una ardua busqueda se cual es el problema, lamentablemente es la MainBoard (La tarjeta principal del iPhone) pero te cuento que aun asi logre restaurarlo, tuve que dejarlo casi una semana en DFU MODE (Pantalla Negra) y se descargo por completo luego baje un programa llamado "redsn*w" la ultima version y en la parte de Extas> Even More> Restore pude restaurarlo. Cabe mencionar que la alegria solo me duro unos cuantos dias, porq de alli se me volvio a apagar asi que el mismo procedimiento, estuve buscando una tarjeta madre en tiendas online, pero basicamente es como comprar otro iphone!, Espero que te sirva de algo a mi me funciono, pero como sabras, algunos les funciona algunas cosas y a otros no, espero que si te funcione! la diferencia dentre hacer play en el reproductor es que cuando metes el clip (no me dijiste el formato del clip) el audio ya no es como viene en el original. por ahi ya ese audio estaba al límite superior y al emparejarlo con los otros o filtrarlo o lo que sea que le hayas puesto en el Premiere, se termina de romper, lo raro es la desincronización.
si tienes un poco de paciencia espera que alguien más sabio venga a ayudarte, y si no postea tu pregunta en el sitio en inglés que tiene un foro especial dedicado al premier donde va a haber unos expertos seguramente al día con el programa (eso sí vete con tus especificaciones encontradas) puedes traducir el mensaje aquí mismo con el traductor, y busca primero en el search las palabras clave par ver si otros usuarios tienen o tuvieron problemas parecidos

Nokia Lumia and gMail account problems

Hi all
I have a Lumia 800 and I come from an iPhone.
I've noticed, after a week of use, that the gMail sync is not "a real push".
I've done a lot of test, and the results are not good.
With the iPhone the mail is noticed immediately, with the Lumia 800 could pass a lot of time.. sometimes 15 minutes!!!
I've also tried to set the account as an Exchange type, the results are the same!!
The sync settings are correct: "as item arrives".
Any suggestion?
For Nokia and Microsoft: please try hard to solve this issue!!
I'm really disappointed, besyde the battery problem now the gMail sync problem!

Acabo de hacer una búsqueda en los foros en inglés y encuentro sólo un tema referido a tu problema, el que sólo tiene tres mensajes, incluyendo la consulta. Lamento decirte que no hay solución publicada, salvo las sugerencias de "instalar todo de nuevo", e "intentar instalar Acrobat, no desde el CD, sino que de un archivo bajado del sitio Adobe". Esta última fue descartada por el que presentó el problema porque ha usado el CD con éxito en otros Macs, tal como tú.
Sin experiencia directa, ya que no tengo la CS, yo te sugeriría lo siguiente. Corre la Utilidad de Discos partiendo desde el CD original de tu OS X. pasa un par de veces el Reparar Disco, y luego Reparar los Permisos del Disco. Intenta de nuevo la instalación y, tan pronto como termines, corre nuevamente ka Utilidad de Discos, pero sin reiniciar el computador (esta vez puedes usar la copia que está en tu disco duro); y pasa Reparar los Permisos del Disco. Te lo digo porque he leído en muchas partes que es buena práctica hacer esto cada vez que se instala software.

9790 Multiple Google calendars on one gmail account - problem

Hi all,
I have a just got myself a 9790 and I'm loving it! Everything is so smooth there is just one niggle...Calendars....
I have 2 Gmail account set up on the phone both of which have calendars, and those calendars come up fine, there's no problem there.
The issue comes with one of my email accounts, where I have two calendars on the account, a work calendar and a personal calendar, it's the work one which syncs fine but I cannot get the personal one to sync.
Any help?

Gmail server problem on macbook pro - os x

I keep getting a server delivery error on my gmail.
I receive emails but I have problem sending - especially emails with attachments, they do not even load !
My airport shows looking for networks so is it a network problem ?
Hotmail and all other web pages work fine the only problem is with gmail...
I checked on software updates and flash updates and all is updated.
Can anybody help ?

The outgoing server for Gmail is "smtp.gmail.com" an you must override the default port to 465. You must use SSL to connect and must authenticate with your Gmail account and password.
If you have any more problems with your Gmail account, call back.

Gmail display problems in safari

hi all -
using a 2nd gen touch, v. 3.1.2. i'm having some problems displaying gmail and the main google page in safari -- problems in that they don't display at all. i can get to the login screen & log out from a search results screen, but i can't actually see my emails on screen.
a restore and resetting the ipod haven't solved the problems.
anyone here having any similar problems, or any suggestions for a fix?

i've done just that; it's definitely a workable solution.
the problems seem to be extending beyond gmail/google (honestly, that's the weirdest part to me: the google search page refuses to display) -- when i use en.m.wikipedia, the show/hide buttons for different sections of an entry no longer work.
i haven't tried a wikipedia app yet & will do so. all the same, it'd be nice to know why these things aren't working in safari anymore.

N97 gmail sync problems

Hi , Have problem with sync gmail on my nokia n97. from last week nokia shows
sync process but at the end I have the same email in inbox like i have before.
No new emaisl coming from server. If I look at gmail through web page new emails
are there.
Any sugestions what should be wrong ??? . I have deleted the account and

I have the same problem with my N97 mini. I used gmail for months without any problem but since about a week it either keeps synchronizing forever (without receiving any mail) or stops and also no mail received. Looking at the web version, new mails are there!

Cosine/Sine problems

I was writing some code for a simple game, and at the moment the focus is getting the character to move. To "strafe" to the right, I have used the following method:

          location.setY(location.getY() + (Math.sin(tempAngle) * runSidewaySpeed));
}I used the following values for the first test:

double runSidewaySpeed = 2.0
And I centered the Location on (0, 0), the origin. If you do the math, activating this method should change the location to (0, 2). It does not, however. Instead it moves the character in the correct Y direction, but not far enough, and in the negative direction of the X, which isn't supposed to move at all.
I looked through the code, and I found the glitch. From what I've learned the Cosine of -90 (tempAngle's value) is 0. But when I use a System.out.println to check it, the program reveals that the cosine of -90 is -0.44807... Sine returned the same result.
What am I doing wrong? Or if there really is a problem with the Math.sin() / Math.cos(), and if so, can someone suggest an alternative?
EDIT: Never mind, I discovered my problem. The Cosine/Sine methods take radians, not degrees. The API is sort of deceiving.

Gmail Syncing Problem

My 2G iPod Touch is giving me a headache. For the past few days my Gmail account which is set up for the mail.app isn't working right. When I send an email or delete an email all the messages are put in the default "All Mail" folder the app creates along with every message you have ever gotten. None of the sent messages appear in the sent box or the deleted messages in the trash box. This cause a problem because when I use the Gmail website I won't have those messages to read. How can this be fixed? Also, can the "All Mail" folder be removed?

I can't get mine to sync with my gmail account from my computer but I can still recurve and send from the iPod it's self.

Gmail password problem

After reading all the stuff about Mat Honan getting hacked, I decided to turn on 2-step verification and change my gmail password. This has proved disastrous. I can no longer acces my gmail through the native mail app on my iPhone.
I looked through all the forums and apparently the 2-step verification was a part of the problem. So, I turned that off. Guess what...I still can't get on. But only on the native mail app on the iphone. If I use Safari, I can log in fine on my iPhone. I can log in fine here on my computer. It's just in the mail app. Any ideas anyone?
I've deleted the account all together and tried to re-add the account. I've reset network settings (out of frustration, not thinking that would actually help). I've done all I can think to do. Please help!
