Installation - [Netweaver Rapid installer 2004s] ERROR - CJS-30150

Hi,
Our team had the following issue with the Netweaver Rapid installer 2004s.
The installer runs fine until the following error pops up during Step 39 of 51 (Preprare to install minimal configuration) under STEP 4 (Execute service) of the rapid installer.
ERROR 2006-09-01 20:01:39
CJS-30150  Java processes of instance KL1/JC01 [Java: UNKNOWN] did not reach state PARTRUNNING after 20:30 minutes. Giving up.
ERROR 2006-09-01 20:01:39
FCO-00011  The step startJava with step key |rapidinstaller|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|SAP_Software_Features_Configuration|ind|ind|ind|ind|7|0|NW_Call_Offline_CTC|ind|ind|ind|ind|7|0|startJava was executed with status ERROR .
We are unable to proceed with the installation. The Retry option also fails. The error comes up after about 30 minutes. The status bar displays the following.
"Starting KL1/JC01 [Java:UNKNOWN] Elapsed Time XX:XX minutes"
The PC configuration has only 2GB of RAM . It does not have the recommended 3GB of RAM. Could this be the issue or is it some other reason?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Harsha,
Please read note "Note 110172 - Windows: Transactions with large storage requirements" which says what i told you. Here is the part of this note.
Note mentions that there is a solution for windows servers to enable 3 GB per process.
Memory problems with background programs, Memory Management under Windows, 32-bit Windows
Reason and Prerequisites
A maximum of 1.2 - 1.5 GB was previously available for a program in the 2 GB address space under 32-bit Windows. The rest of the address space is either used by Shared Memory buffers, program data and loaded DLLs or is too heavily fragmented.
Solution
To enhance or optimally utilize your address space, the following steps are necessary:
      1. Install your Windows operating system again or set it up again.
      The Windows Server operating system family provides a 3 GB address space for each process with a specific boot option. Programs which are to use this 3 GB address space, must be prepared by a flag in program header. To do this, Windows must be installed again, or an already existing Windows version must be set up according to the Microsoft guidelines.
      2. Activate the 3 GB boot option according to Microsoft KB article 283037.
      3. Import the current kernel patch for your SAP system, and note the following details for your SAP system:

    is there something that should be configured before running the configuration ?
    I also couldnt find any installation guides so could some please share his knowledge.

    Hi,
    You should contact SAP to get the software. Netweaver Rapid Installer is optimized to run on 2 Hardware configurations (SUN for Unix and HP for Win-based).
    (for Sun have a look at http://www.sun.com/third-party/global/sap/solutions/rapidinstaller.html )
    Regards,
    Igor.

  • SAP Netweaver Rapid Installer

    I was looking at the SDN main page, and saw the SAP Netweaver Rapid Installer. This looks nice, and I would like to try it, but it isn't available via SAP Service.
    Do I have to request the DVD? I work for a SAP Partner but it is always harder to request hard copies...

    Hi Joao,
    it is always a good idea to let those people know who posted the message. Vera posted her email adress on SDN to give you a feedback channel - and it is not very common that our people give you direct connection - use it.
    Regards,
    Benny
    PS: I let her already know about this question

  • Installed Netweaver 2004s with Rapid Installer , can not connet to BI7.0!!!

    Hi,
    I installed Netweaver 2004s with rapid installer but i can not connect to BI7.0 with SapLogon 710. SapLogon waiting for response forever. What are the post actions after I installed the Netweaver 2004s. I can connect to portal by IE.
    I am new to this so any help will be greatly appreciated.
    thanks,
    Jenni

    OS is Windows Server. SAPID is IKI. I am the only one trying to connect to BI so DPMON is not the issue. I wanted to stop and start the SAPIKI_03 service but I can not stop it, maybe it is related to that.
    What are the post steps after installing rapid installer?
    How can I make sure that I installed Java+Abap stack or only Java?
    Thank you for your help.

  • ERROR INSTALLATION ERROR SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SR2

    Hi Gurus,
    We are busy installing SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SR2  (ABAP+JAVA) with an Oracle 10.2 DB.
    We get the following error during the installation.

    Hi,
    I had this same problem when installing CRM 2007.
    To solve it, I had to edit the file
    C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\CRM2007\SYSTEM\MSS\CENTRAL\AS\control.xml
    Use the search function from notepad to find the string "autoinstall".
    Modify this paragraph
      var callArgs = ["autoinstall",
                      "sdmHome=" + FSPath.getPath(sdmHome + "/program").toStringOS(),
                      "popDir=" + tempPath.toStringOS(),
                      "sdmRoot=" + FSPath.getPath(sdmHome + "/root").toStringOS(),
                      "javaHome=" + javaHome,
                      "Sdmadminport=" + ports.adminPort,
                      "Sdmguiport=" + ports.guiPort,
                      "Sdmhttpport="  + ports.httpPort,
                      "hostname=" + hostname,
    To remove the line   * "hostname=" + hostname,*
    Save the control.xml file, relaunch sapinst.exe and choose "Continue old installation".
    It worked for me !

  • Rapid Installer Insallation Error  "password wrong"

    Hi I am doing a "rapid" installation and I have and error "FSL-01002 Unable to create account SAPSERVICEJ2E", I have solved creating manually the user.
    I have set to the user the same password that I specified in the intallation, now I have the following error:
    "CJS-20004 Invalid password. IDAGNOSIS: The password you specified for user 'SAPSERVICEJ2E' is wrong. SOLUTION: Enter the correct password"
    My questions:
    1.->  have I to reset the installation ?
    2.-> Which password is ok, Have I to set the password to the user manually and then begin the installation again?
    3.-> I have set that is about sytem policy, Someone know which policy?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi, thanks for the information but I have that guide.
    I have solved the problem I have created manually the user and I have reintalled.
    But now I have another one; I am installing on Primary controller on Windows 2003, the error is:

    it seems that is calling to "lookupaccountname" with "server\user" and I think that the correct way is "domain\user". My domain is named OPTIMA and the machine SERVER.

  • Rapid Installer 2004s SPS07 Any limitations?

    Hi,
    We have used the Rapid Installer 2004s (SPS07) to install the portal. Are there any limitations by using this installation? (like the number of users?)
    Thanks in advance,
    Antony.

    Hi Marcelo Behr,
    Thanks so much for the reply.
    You have mentioned that JVM parameters need to be changed based on our configuration.
    We have used the rapid installer to install Netweaver 2004s and will be using a few iviews on the home tab as well going live with a few iviews on Employee Self Services (ESS).
    We will be going live with 2000+ users.
    Current Config ->
    2CPU & 4GB memory server for portal
    2CPU 4GB server for ITS production.
    Your input will be greatly appreciated.
    Antony.

    But I have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SP12 using VMWare on my Laptop.
    As i mentioned in other thread
    I had also encountered "can not find sapmmcmsi.exe" problem
    but finally i managed to install SP12 on windows 2003 server (On Virual PC)
    Changed the Installtion Source file Name to "C:\12" instead of long "C:\SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12\SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12".
    Made 1024 MB RAM available to the virutal PC.

  • Error in ERP 6.0 Rapid Installer - "brconnect.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

    Hi
    I have the installer for ERP 6.0 + NW 7.0, but option "SAP System" was missing in installation menu.
    Then I downloaded ERP 6.0 (Rapid Installer, Oracle) from market place
    Followed the following steps
        - Install Oracle 10.2.0.1.0
        - Install downloaded ERP 6.0 (Rapid Installer)
        - But this stopped with an error
            brconnect.exe - Entry Point Not Found
                The procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in the dynamic link library orauts.dll.
    orauts.dll is oracle' client dll
    When I checked BRTool' version using command

    make mode                  OCI_10103_SHARE
    make date                  Sep 19 2005
    Here make mode is "OCI_10103_SHARE"
    Rapid installer guide as well as documentation shows that this setup supports Oracle 10.2 but BRTools version shows compatibility with 10.1.
    Is it error because of database version mismatch?
    Thanks !

    Check for the ora<sid> group and also check the env variable for ora<sid>. This should solve the issue.

  • Error when Installing NW04 using Rapid Installer:FJS-00003  ReferenceError

    Hi friends,
    As a part of Portal migration, i am installing NW04 using Rapid Installer 2.5.1 for SunOS.
    Installation went fine till phase "Database Oracle Patch" but in "Oracle Sidadm Env" phase, an error occured.
    Acc. to sapinst.log file:
    FJS-00003  ReferenceError: mgt is not defined (in script InstallationScript_10, line 12689: ???)
    I searched in SDN and found SAP Note 785921 and 668604. Both are asking us to do the same thing i.e.
    After the following line in control.xml
    "OraJ2ee.prototype.CreateProfilesFromTemplate = function() { "
    insert the line
    var mgt = new FileMgt();
    I did the same but no luck. I stopped the installation and again started it to see if it works but again the same thing.
    Can some one just tell me how to get rid off it?
    Regards,
    Nilz

    Hi Asshish,
    After installing the oracle database did you check whether JDK version is correct in the environment variables before installing the rapid installer.
    What happens is that oracle resets the JDK version to lower version, which is not acceptable to portal. So after installing the oracle verify the version of JDK in the Environment variables and the JAVA_HOME variable.
    Then you try to install the RI 2.5.1

    Arun

  • Rapid Installer CD label SAP:RAPID_J2ee-cd:700:j2ee-cd:J2EE-CD:*

    I have downloaded package 51033323 SAP Rapid Installer NW 7.0 SPS14 1 to 8 and ran into the error message particularly the error message showed--Install is looking for the package with CD label SAP:RAPID_J2ee-cd:700:j2ee-cd:J2EE-CD:*.  Is this CD label bundled with the download?
    Documentation indiactes that SAP Netweaver 7.0 Rapid Installer for SPS14 is two DVD's.  The second DVD has ( Java Load with app. 4GB)  What are the equivalent package numbers that should be downloaded.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rashmi, I am having the same problem, did you find a answer for your question?

  • Rapid Installer - MS SQL server requirements

    I am wanting to install the SAP Netweaver 2.1 Rapid Installer package.  It states that it requires MS SQL Server Enterprise edition.  Can the Rapid Installer be installed with MS SQL server standard edition instead of Enterprise edition?

    Gardner Denver

    hi david, i'm trying to install Rapid Installer 2.1 on my PC and during installation i got this error message:
    ERROR 2005-09-12 16:28:18
    MDB-05508  Errors were found when checking connection to or configuration of database server (listed above in the log file).
    is it possible that this occurs 'cause my DB is MS SQL SERVER 2000 and not Enterprise edition ? consider that this version of DB was included in RI pack installation
    thanks in advance,
    frank.

  • Rapid Installer includes Visual Composer?

    Hi all,
    I want to install and run NetWeaver Portal. It is planned to be connected to SAP BI. In a later step, it should be possible to create applications/models via the Visual Composer.
    Now my question: Could anybody say something about their experience with the Rapid Installer and if it's recommendable for purpose at all? I'm afraid that VC is not part of the Rapid Installer, am I right? If so, is it difficult to implement it later on?
    Thanks for your posts!
    Best regards,
    Tobi

    Hello Tobias,
    If you want to use the Rapid Installer (RA) for NetWeaver 2004s, the answer is YES the VC is included
    For previous version is not included and you must install your portal with the RA and afterwards install the Visual Composer.
    I hope this clarify your doubts.
    Kindest Regards,
    Luis
