Installing creative cloud isn't working

I start to install the creative cloud on my MacBook but it just stops randomly and cancels.

    I have to download Adobe Application Manager to get back Creative Cloud again but it isn't installing.

    I had to reset my pc first off. I went to down load PS and of course it downloaded the cloud once it finished I ran the cloud to sign in but its blank.. it says creative cloud at the top, the gear is there but no option except for help, pin and quit. It doesn't even go through the motions on start up as it did before. I did run it as admin and I have the compatibility set to windows 8 but still no dice. Any help ?

    Please rename OOBE Folder from the following location
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    After renaming the OOBE folder please restart the machine and then launch the application once again.

    You'll have to upgrade your operating system first.
    Most, if not all, Cloud apps require at least OS X 10.7.

  • Why does Creative Cloud Setup stop working when I re-install the program?

    Bjørnarj6963233 I would recommend utilizing the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application.  Also which operating system are you using?

  • Adobe CS6 Apps Shuts Down After Installing Creative Cloud.

    I can't start my Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign CS6 anymore, it just shuts down as soon as it's done loading, without any errors. Only Bridge CS6 will start.
    I tried launching with Ctrl+Alt and Ctrl+Alt+Shift but it did not work.
    Then I tried uninstalling it (With all the preferences as well), and install it again, that did nothing - still the same issue.
    I updated windows and my gfx drivers (GeForece 332.21 - NVS4200M) after the issue started.
    I tried both the 32bit and the 64bit version.
    I have manually removed the preferences file.
    I have disabled the firewall and my AV.
    I have logged out and back in of the Creative Suite Utility.
    My hosts file is not blocking any sites.
    I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.
    I tried to open a issue on superuser but that did not help, nobody has awnsered it yet.

    Nicoar do you receive any specific error messages?  I would recommend starting with the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html.

    Hi,
    I'm trying to install Photoshop on a second computer. Problem is I can't find the installer for Creative Cloud. When I log in at adobe.com and go to products, all i get is the option to get a trial version or sign up for a new plan. It's like it thinks I'm not already on a plan.
    Explicitly going to menu -> pc apps -> clicking the creative cloud icon takes me to the general creative cloud promotional page. I can't see any option to just install the creative cloud app.
    Am I missing something? Seached the forums and all the replies just tell me to go to adobe.com/products and install.

    Got to say that's a bit of baffling gui design. One would think a link to install Creative Cloud would be one of the main things needed for the account page on the website. Not only did I have to do something I didn't want to do (get the trial), but after installing the manager, it immediately started downloading and installing photoshop. I really hope it's not installing the trial version. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

    I have purchased Adobe Creative Cloud for work and I'm one of 2 administrators. I am however the only the person using the products (the other admin is a general admin person  in our organization). I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud on my work computer (a PC) but would also like to install a few of the products on my home computer (a Mac) as well as I sometimes work from home and my Mac is generally alot faster than the PC. How do I do this? I have signed on to Adobe Creative Cloud online however it seems I can only download the programs I need as trials.

    I had the same problem and finally solved it.
    It is "funny" that CC doesn't ask you where to install apps. Or better to say, it asks you but doesn't care. In Creative Cloud desktop app/Preferences there is option to choose where you want apps to be installed, but they are still installed in C:/Program Files/....
    How to install apps on secondary drive in just 3 steps:
    1. Go to page Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links – Creative Cloud 2014 Release | ProDesignTools and download all apps that you will need.
    2. Once downloaded, install it. During installation you will be asked where you want app to be installed (just like in any other "normal" installation)
    3. Be happy
