Installing Student edition CS6

I am having trouble installing the Akamai interface ion advance of the installation of CS6. I know when i purchased this software i did not do it the same way i did when i purchased lightroom ... when i did the Lightroom purchase i sent in a copy of my student ID... Is it possible that i am being blocked on my download until they see my student ID ??

Question on installing student edition of CS6.

I purchased this from amazon.com. There is a product code but no serial number. It says a serial number will be emailed to you once your eligibility has been verified. Does this mean I first install it as a trial? I would have thought I would be installing it as a paid version.

I already own Student Edition CS6 Photoshop Extended and Want to Buy the Design Standard Student

I already own the Student/Teacher Edition CS6 Photoshop Extended and want to buy the Design Standard Student/Teacher edition in order to add In-Design and Illustrator to my Mac. My concern is that, since Photoshop is included in the Design Standard collection, will my pre-existng copy of Photoshop keep me from getting a serial number/license on the other two products since I know you can only puchase one product per student? I was just hoping someone could clarify this for me before I spent money on something that I may not can use. I really want In-Design and Illustrator and this is my cheapest route as a student.

There will not be any issues, while you are installing the Adobe CS6 Design Standard, you would not have an option to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 as its already installed.
Alternatively, You may de activate and uninstall the Adobe Photoshop CS6(curently installed) and keep it as a back up and use the Photoshop which is a part of Adobe CS6 Design Standard.

Does the $449.99 Student Edition of CS6 allow you to install it on 2 separate Macs? If so, then is the installation process the same as on the first machine?

Yes and yes. All Adobe apps have 2 activations and thus can be installed and activated on 2 machines for non-concurrent use.

Trying to install Student Edition of Labview 2011, but instead got 2010

I'm installing the Student Edition of Labview 2011 on a laptop and finally when finished it turns out to be the Student edition Labview 2010, Service Pack 1 version 10.0.1. The receipt clearly say LabVIEW 2011 Student Edition Software - Suite - Download. Did I miss a step or something while installing?

Nevermind... Needed more sleep. For some reason when it created the icon it selected the 2010 verson not the 2011 verson.

Trouble installing student edition

I just downloaded the student edition cc. Every time I try to use ps or ai it asks me to login. Then it tells me my free trial has expired. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I am using a Imac. Any ideas on how to fix this?

ZooEcho, First of all, if you are a student then only you can purchase the Student license for any CS6 product. Now, its against adobe policy to use someone else ID to use the product on your name.

Unfortunately that option is not possible.
You cannot upgrade a Creative Suite to a standalone product.
Creative Suites can only be upgrades to other Creative Suites.
You'll need to return Photoshop CS6 upgrade since you cannot use it.
Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order
Some options:
Buy a Creative Suite upgrade, or
Buy a full new copy of Photoshop CS6, or
Join the Cloud

Question about Installing CS6 Student Edition

I purchased student version of Adobe CS6 about a year ago, unfortunately about the same time as I made this purchase my laptop died. I recently graduated from college, but I was wondering if there is a window of time that I need to install the suite before I become ineligible as a student/or if I will be unable to install and register. I currently have a work computer, but don't want to install the program until I get my own computer. Furthermore, how many devices can I install the student edition on? If I need to install it before my student status expires, I'd like to install it on my work computer, then hopefully get my own personal device ASAP and install it on that as well if possible. Thanks for the help.

If you are still a student then you can install and use the software.
As far as installing it on a work computer goes, that is usually up to the company you work for. Most companies control what is and is not allowed to be installed on a computer they own.

Install JUST PS CS6 from CS6 Master Suite Collection Student/Teacher Edition (Digital)

I received the CS6 Master Suite Collection from my University (Digital Copy) and I only want to install Photoshop. I have the serial number for Master Suite CS6 but the serial does not work for JUST PS CS6. I can download PS CS6 but during the install it crashes after it gets through 100% of the install and it says the following items can not be installed and it shows the PS CS6 icon. What can I do to get this issue resolved?

I guess what I'm trying to say is unclear. I am using my wife's MacBook Pro. I have my MacBook Pro's Hard drive in an external sata enclosure. I have OS Lion 10.7.4 that I partioned 32GB from my main hard drive do I can use that OS.
I understand what everyone is saying about downloading MS to to another section hard drive and just running the installer on my Lion OS so I can just select PS CS6. If you look at the pictures above, you can see that I actually did just that and ran the PS CS6 installer. It webt through the entire process until the end and it kept crashing on me. I've used adobe cleaner but the only thing that was on my Lion OS was adobe air. I removed adobe air with the adobe cleaner and started from scratch. I also removed the corrupted files after every install.
I restarted a few times and ran into the same issue. I have figured out how to get into safe mode. After you hold option to bring up the OS you want to boot into, you hold shift before you press enter on your selection. I am in safe mode now. I have tried just installing the PS CS6 and it still crashes at the very end of the installaltion and shows this screen.

I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
(I never received a serial number.)
I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?

The trial expired 2 weeks ago - Monday.
I purchased the Cloud Yesterday, also 2 weeks ago Monday 10/15/2012.
I purchased it twice thinking 1 purchase did not complete.
I still will need to request a refund for 1, I've been too busy between, work, school, and kid. I'm at work now.

How do I find my "Product Code" for Photoshop Extended CS6 Student Edition?

My daughter bought the Photoshop Extended CS6 student edition, retrieved the serial number, downloaded and installed the software. Now it is asking us to register and wants a 19 digit "product code" before continuing with the resistration. The retailer claims it is the serial number but the registration utility will not accept that. The Adobe account is showing no registered products. Can this be fixed?

I am about to install CS6 Production Premium (student edition) and I was wondering if I am allowed to do that? And how do I properly uninstall the softwares that are available in both packages (like Photoshop) while retain the ones that Production Premium does not have (like Dreamweaver)?

That would be - well - stupid and cause a ton of issues. Use the proper uninstallers.

There is no such thing. You uninstall the package completely, then reinstall it with a custom install only including the programs you need.
