Insufficient permissions to create node on Note component

Hi team,
I am creating a simple chat app in LCCS. Our guest have role of 50 and we are using knocking feature. I have added all the components and they work fine for both the guest and host except for notes component. When we have notes component in the code when the guests comes in (before the acceptance in the queue) , we get following exception. We can just dismiss the exception and everything works fine. Why are we getting the exception?. Here is the stack trace,

I would try to login as owner (100) first then try to login again as a user (50).
Other than that take a look at the room console and see if the Access Model or Publisher Model is too high.

or you are promoted to have host role i.e. role = 100 . When you
autopromote someone, that user gets promoted to a role = 50 i.e. a
presenter role. If you do not autopromote , the default role = 10 ,
i.e. that of a viewer.
Hence you need to promote the incoming user further to a role
= 100, merely autopromote won't give him enough permission to
create a new node.

Create-node-agent not option in asadmin ; version 8.2

I am trying to create a node agent but the option to do so is not available System Application Server Platform Edition 8.2 .
I am having a problem finding any information about this command.
I have been informed that it should be available in this version.
Do I need to start the server or something before I will be offered this option ?

I downloaded "jdevstudio1013.zip " and I still don't have this context menu?
What are the steps to correct this?

Figured it out. I was having an extension issue and I had to turn off all of my extensions. Thus, turned on the ADF extension (duh!) and all was well.

Don't Have Permission to Create Nodes

I'm working with the File example and I'm getting the

Hi, I am trying to create this node, i see the option when I do RightClick the context in the component controller > Create>Node, but i was not able to select it. Am i missing some settings to enable it?

I suffered similar issue in Infopath, and i finally solved the issue by changing the data connection URL, it should the same as the Infopath publish location.
for example: SP server iP 192.168.1.1 have two name, hostname is mySP, alternate assces mapping name is companySP, and you can access the websit by both

Can someone tell me what permissions a user needs to create an assigned conference? My account has full permissions to do everything (I thought) in Lync yet when I and others try to set up a conference, we get the below error:

Using Firefox, Vista Home Operating system, have downloaded flash Player successfully before, but now get this message. My searching arouind for a solution said something about contacting the administrator which of course is me! 2+ year old laptop that has other problems, such as IE has quit working.

Shared Node Model not created

I have created multiple task flows and created the adf menu models. I have created the views for all the nodes and have created shared nodes for the lower level task flows. I have verified that the managed beans are all present for each task flow and they are located in the appropriate menu models XML file and referenced in the root_menu.
When I run the page I get the following error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Shared Node Model not created for query_menu. Check for the existence of the corresponding managed bean in your config files.
I did find another post related to this problem, but did not understand the post.
They suggested looking at the following:
"The file that should contain the menu bean is the file specified in the service-level property "Service Adfc Config". Can you check whether this property has a valid value? Also, make sure the advanced service-level checkbox property "generate ADFc Config Files?" is checked."
Where do I locate the service-level property "Service Adfc Config"? I have been looking through all the config files in the application and the preferences in JDeveloper.
I am new to JDeveloper and ADF.

It makes perfect sense that menu_root.xml has a reference to the managed bean #{JhsMigrateModuleMenu}.
This bean should be defined in the adfc-config for your appmodule, probably /WEB-INF/adfc-config-jhsmigratemodule.xml
It looks like this (with different names):

I guess that this definition is missing or has the wrong name or something. Perhaps it is pointing to an invalid XML menu model file (in my case /WEB-INF/menu-appmodule.xml)

Can not change vendor when creating a new Development Component in NWDS

Dear friends,
Im trying to create a new Development Component in NWDS. Our NWDS is connected to NWDI and we are using CM Services option of NWDI.
Before I could create a DC and change the vendor but now I cant change it anymore. Now, the vendor is by default sap.com and we cant change it and it seems that we also have to put our project in a separate directory. home/ directory or other directories in the list.
See below screen shots...
If I make a new DC than we see it like this: home/bpm_test [sap.com].
If I make a new DC in my LocalDevelopment I can change the vendor and I dont have to choose a home directory.
Do you have any idea how to change that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it seems that the vendor is defined in the NWDI track. That's why you can't change it.

After installing the reportservice/database i cannot use the Configuration Manager Console 2012 anymore with my own AD account. (The accounts of my colleagues are stil working)
When i login i get the following message:

the Windows Server Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) Remote Activation permission for the computer running the Configuration Manager site server and the SMS Provider.
I checked the following:
I am a administrative user in SCCM (Full Administrator)
I am a member of the administrator group on the server
Deleted HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ConfigMgr10
I tried to start it on multiple workstations and deleted my roaming profile
Any more suggestions?

Definitely it is cardinality problem, please check that... Try to understand below points to avoid such error.
When a node is created in the context of a Web Dynpro component, the cardinality of the node is specified. The cardinality defines how often a node is to be instantiated at runtime u2013 that is, how many elements of this node are available at runtime.
u2022        1u20261          Only one element is instantiated.
u2022        0u20261          At runtime, no more than one element is instantiated, but it is also possible that no element is instantiated.
u2022        1u2026n          n elements can be instantiated, but at least one element must be instantiated.
u2022        0u2026n          The number of instantiated elements of the context node can vary.
The cardinalities 0..n and 1..n correspond to the declaration of an internal table. The cardinality 1..1 corresponds to the declaration of a structure.

                 I create a node dynamically from structure using CL_WD_DEMO_DYN_MODEL->create_nodeinfo_from_struct method. my code as
nd_field_info = nd_field->get_node_info( ).
wd_this->zwd_assist->create_nodeinfo_from_struct( EXPORTING

structure_name = dotablename
is_multiple = abap_true ).
When am set the data to context then it gives the error like node does not contain any elements, but i verified the attributes using nodeinfo then all attributes will be displayed, but when value inserting time it throws error.

The text which is in text node is not displaying in output in smartforms

the text which i entered as above in the text node is not displaying.It is in main area.

Just checking on another odd feature: Typedef enum Property Node "Value" not reflecting changes in the Typedef?

Just encountered this odd behavior in LV 2011 which I reduced to the following example:
- create a new VI and drop an enum control on te FP.
- make this control a typedef and open the corresponding typedef
- create a "case 1" item and a "case 2" item
- save the typedef (I used the name Typedef Control 1) and CLOSE it (this is to allow updating of the original control).
- drop a case structure on the diagram and connect the enum to it:
So far so good. Now create a "Value" Property node for the enum and use it instead of the terminal:
If I now go back to the typedef and add a "case 3" item, save the typedef and close it, the control is updated, but the Property node is not.
How do I know that? For one, the Case Structure contextual menu does not offer to create a case for every value. Also, if I add a "case 3" case manually, it turns red.
Luckily, the magic Ctrl-R key stroke actually does solve this problem.
Tested in LV 2011.

By Ctrl-R trick do you simply mean running the VI? That is one way to force a recompile, but if you hold down Ctrl while pressing the run button you can recompile without running. This should not be "dangerous" in any situation.
As you have drawn your example, I see no reason not to use a local in that situation (ok, maybe for vanity). Still, I view the behavior you describe as a bug, and it should certainly be fixed for the benefit of local haters out there. You have to be a little careful where you draw the line between what gets handled in real time and what gets handled only at compile time.
