Int Server (ABAP Cache) - Cache Updated column shows "red"

...long read, appreciate your patience...
In the IB:Config, under Cache Notifications, I'm getting the red square in the Cache Updated column for all "ABAP Cache" entries (green for notification).   The "Java Cache" and "Central Adapter Engine" entries are green all the way through.
I've read a bunch of other threads here, and I've read and worked through the entire "How to Handle Caches" document.  I ran in to a couple issues, but I don't know how to solve them.....
1) When I run SXI_CACHE, I receive the following messages:
<green> "Cache contents are up to date"
<red> "Error during last attempt to refresh cache"
--->double-clicking shows: Error ID = BUSINESS_SYSTEM, Message = LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM - NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM
--->Running the LCR... fxn via SE37 is successful, so I don't understand why SXI_CACHE has a problem running it.
2) When I run the Cache Connectivity Test where the Yellow triangle is displayed for the IS-ABAP with message "Attempt to fetch cache data from Integration Directory not yet started or still in progress".
3) When I try to load http://<host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=delta or full, I get a "403 Forbidden - You are not authorized to view the requested resource."  But I'm never prompted for a user/pw?  Since I'm the only user in this XI box, I do have some of my logons saved in Internet Explorer - could it be using one of those without prompting me?
Note:
I have been experiencing on and off network issues, and the machine we have XI installed on is slow.  I don't know if that could affect anything or not.
Thanks for taking the time to read this...

Thanks for the replies...
Prashanth,
I think SXI_CACHE is for items in the Java stack only (correct me if I'm wrong).  The main problem I have is with items in the ABAP stack not making it in to the cache.
Moorthy,
I walked through the Readiness Check - everything passed except for the items I already mentioned (Cache test shows yellow).  The document is a nice gathering of tests, but it doesn't offer any ideas has to how to correct problems encountered.
Integration_directory_hmi tested successfully, and I read through the other OSS Notes, but none solved the issue.

  • OS X Server 2.2.5 update still showing up in the MAS

A couple of weeks ago I updated a system with OS X 10.8.5 and OS X Server 2.2.2  to OS X Server 2.2.5.
I had no problems or errors and it seems to me that the install log didn't report anything wrong:
    Nov 20 09:06:00 myApple.server.it installd[395]: PackageKit: Writing receipt for com.apple.pkg.ServerAppStore to /private/var/db/receipts
    Nov 20 09:06:00 myApple.server.it installd[395]: PackageKit: Touched bundle Applications/Server.app
    Nov 20 09:06:00 myApple.server.it installd[395]: PackageKit: Touched bundle Applications/Server.app/Contents/Applications/Xsan Admin.app
    Nov 20 09:06:00 myApple.server.it installd[395]: Installed "Server" (10.8)
However, yesterday I noticed that the OS X Server 2.2.5 update is still showing up in the MAS.
I'm almost sure that it wasn't there right after the OS X Server 2.2.5 update but I cannot say when it started showing up again.
I've already verified that I don't have outdated copies of Server app on attached volumes and I've also inserted all the local volumes except for the startup one in the Spotlight exclusion list.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue or know what the problem could be?

I had a copy of the older Server on a backup drive, where I keep the system installers and Server installers just in case.
I zipped Server on the backup and removed the original and immediately the update went away.
So because spotlight indexes all the drives it was finding the old version on my external RAID and thinking it needed updating

  • ABAP HTTP cache refresh

    Hi-
What role is required for an Integration Server (ABAP) HTTP cache refresh?
This is accessible if you go to XI Administration -> Cache Overview and click on Full Cache Refresh for INTEGRATIONSERVER_. It calls this URL.
    http://hostname:8000/sap/xi/cache?sap-client=800&mode=F
    XISUPER has all SAP_XI* roles. I get a "403 Forbidden" unless I include SAP_ALL.
    Thanks,

  • Why PSA data show red status when opened but green on PSA page?

Run RSA1 -> click PSA to open PSA page, locate one infosource and find the PSA under it, find the status column shows it's green, but when opening it, find the 1st column shows red for each row.  How does the inconsitance occur?
BTW, if we open the infopackage monitor for the above one, find a weird thing is that each request get two consecutive processes running with a circle of red ball and green ball in the left frame.  Double click one of them, in the right frame and click the monitor Status tab, the msg window is as following (in between two dashed lines below):
Incorrect data records - error requests (total status GREEN)
    Diagnosis
Data records were recognized as incorrect.
    System response
The valid records were updated in the data target and can be used in reporting.
The incorrect records were not written to the data target, but were posted retractively under a new request number in the PSA.
    Procedure
Check the data in the error requests, correct the errors, and post the error requests.
Sounds like the data failed to uploaded to data target due to error in PSA, but why the status show green in somewhere?   And if clicking the Details tab, all show green!  Weird!
    Thanks

    Hi Kevin,
In your InfoPackage Update tab, click the Error Handling button. It seems that the Valid records update, request green option is chosen. This is why you see the green request and some error records.
This means that the corect reocrds were loaded and are available for reporting, but the incorrect ones were left behind. This is used to check the erro records separatelt so that they do not disrupt the entire data load.
    Hope this helps...

  • OSX Server Caching iOS updates

    Hello,
I have a question regarding the OSX Server Caching feature, the documentation states that this feature will cache all updates(including iOS) which is great for the company i work at.
However, the biggest issue is that the server itself does not download or cache the iOS updates, if i were to add the *.ipsw files manually to "~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates/" for example the server will NOT cache these.
If a computer in the network downloads the IPSW via iTunes, the server will not cache this.
If i were to restore a device in iTunes on the server and iTunes has to download the update, it is NOT cached.
We're trying to have all IPSWs ready to go from one device instead of 7-10 devices individually downloading each and every update from Apple but we cannot find a solution for this.
If anyone knows a good solution, that would be great.

    The answer is here:
OS X Server: Caching service doesn't cache the iOS 8 update

In the execution plan of STEP-3, against ID-1 the operation RESULT CACHE is shown which shows the result has been retrieved directly from Result cache. Does this mean that Oracle Server has Incrementally Retrieved the resultset?
Because, before the execution of STEP-2, the cache contained only 2 records. Then 1 record was inserted but after STEP-3, a total of 3 records was returned from cache. Does this mean that newly inserted row is retrieved from database and merged to the cached result of STEP-1?
If Oracle server has incrementally retrieved and merged newly inserted record, what mechanism is being used by the Oracle to do so?

Edited by: 965300 on Oct 15, 2012 12:25 AMNo, the RESULT CACHE operation doesn't necessarily mean that the results are retrieved from there. It could be being
    written to there.
Look at the number of consistent gets: it's zero in the first step (I assume you had already run this query before) and I would
conclude that the data is being read from the result cache.
In the third step there are 4 consistent gets. I would conclude that the data is being written to the result cache, a fourth step repeating
the SQL should show zero consistent gets and that would be the results being read.

  • Firm Redirect with Set Cache Batch Updates or regular Expressions mapping?

    Hello everybody,
I use the Sun Java Web Proxy as a Reverse Proxy. I want that the Proxy takes a special css-File only from a special server.
for Instance: example.css should be taken from http://server.domain.com/static/example.css
Should I use the "Set Cache Batch Updates" in the Caching-Tab or should I create a regular Expression mapping? In second case, how could the Expression looks like (SUN regular expressions are a different from normal - as I know)?
    Thank you for help.
    Greetings
    Johannes

    The regexpr. could be "http://.*/tud\\.css
But is such a redirect possible at all?
Please help me. I am a little bit helpless.
    Thanks

  • OS X Server 3.2.2 Update shows up ...

Well, I upgraded my Mac to 10.10 Yosemite. Then I bought the new Server 4.0 version and installed it. So there is only the 4.0 Server app on the Mac. Still, it will show me a "OS X Server 3.2.2 Update" within the App Store. Of course this cannot be installed. But I cannot get rid of the Update notification within the store ... :-(

    Try reindexing your Mac.

  • What is the URL for administration of a standalone Oracle 11g HTTP server (OHS + Web Cache)

    Hi,
I have a running Oracle 11g HTTP server (OHS + Web Cache). A stand-alone installation.
What is the URL to access the administration page of the OHS server?
    Thanks by advance.

    Try this:
    http://hostname:7777/demos.htm

  • Update window show "connecting to update server" and will not connect.

Software Update window shows: "Downloading Firefox" and under the blue barber line "Connecting to the Update Server".... this has been going on for several hours and it does not appear to be downloading the update. I have been trying for several weeks with the same problem.

I have already tried re-installing the newest version, and I still get the "update" alert, and the not-connecting.
At the moment, I just close the window and carry on, but it's a bit annoying.

  • Messages (Jabber) Refuses to Authenticate AD Users after 10.9.2/Server 3.0.3 update

Once again, an update appears to have broken Messages/Jabber's ability to authenticate AD users after the 10.9.2/Server 3.0.3 update even though it was working well before. Hoping someone here has some ideas for how to help!
I can log in just fine as a local user (e.g. [email protected]), but no luck with AD users (e.g. [email protected]). As always, it fails with no intelligible error message whatsoever:

I reset the jabber server configuration as described here to no avail: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5354428
    The DNS configuration looks good:

    Current HostName    = comet.ADdomain.private
    DNS HostName        = comet.ADdomain.private
The names match. There is nothing to change.

I am not sure if it's attempting to authenticate to AD or not, and if so, why it might be failing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

That looks correct. Lets collect a few more config items.

Also, while you're troubleshooting, I found Adium's debug window to be invaluble for showing errors during logon (even if you plan to use Messages).
You can open it in debug mode by holding option + click Adium.app, select "start in debug mode". Then in Adium menu > Debug window.

  • Project Server 2010 Timesheets not Updating Project Plans

We have several project plans that are not getting updates from approved timesheets.
    Troubleshooting steps I've taken:
    1) Verified the timesheet/task submissions by the resources
    2) Verified they have been approved
    3) Verified they have been accepted by the Status Manager and processed
    4) All project plans have been published (I even used ProjTool ON the App server to do a full publish of all plans as a second step of publishing)
    5) Verified OLAP was built successfully overnight (and every night)
    6) Tasks have both remaining work and NO actual work in the Resource Usage view
    7) Had a user recall and resubmit his timesheet using "Send Timesheet" to see if the task updates would come through - they did not (I am Status Manager and the timesheet shows Approved), and even published the plan and rebuilt the OLAP again,
    just in case.
    8) Verified that no tasks are marked for closure under Close Tasks for Update in Server Settings.
    9) Verified Timesheet shows Actual Work on the Tasks via Pivot Table; compared Timesheet_User_View with MSP_Portfolio_View pivot table for project which shows 0 hours. Timesheet_User_View shows 33 hours.
All tasks have Remaining Work, are within the date range of the timesheet and are open for submitting time. Timesheets are still out of sync with project plans for many users and there is no apparent reason. I'm out of ideas!

    Hi,
In status manager's approval center, history, status updates, can you check the status of the approval? Do you have any errors in the ULs log for the approval or publish jobs?
    Hope this helps,
