Integrate web dynpro into WEB UI

Hi,
I have a problem with integrating wd4a application into web ui.
When I set up url of the wd4a application (absolute url) as logical link, everything went ok in dev system.
But after transport to test system, application was not reachable, because absolute url linked to dev.
The second attemp was to set up the logical link to BSP application, which called absolute url to wd4a application using <bsp:call> statement in view. The problem is that this statement didnt work at all and it doesnt matter if there link to my application or to google.com.
do you have any idea how to solve this?
thanks
Juraj

Hi,
I know this method,
but problem is that I used absolute link in WEB UI customizing, tx CRMC_IC_LTX_URLS ... in case I could create my own link, everything is ok
my problem is that I dont know how to define link in this tx with relative url
or I can be solved in way that I somehow integrate web dynpro into BSP application and then set up URL in tx CRMC_IC_LTX_URLS for the BSP.
the only problem is I dont kobw how to do this
thanks
Juraj

The problem is that we can't run the Web Dynpro application in combination with an anonymous portal.

    <b>Detail description of the situation:</b>
At one of our companies we are using a Portal in combination with a Web Dynpro application. The portal is for internal use only so therefore we are using a language specific anonymous user (/irj/portal/anonymous?guest_user=Guest_intra_NL). The Web Dynpro application needs no authentication either. The Web Dynpro applications runs inside an appintegrator iView somewhere on the frontpage. If we set the authentication schema on 'default' instead of 'anonymous' we have to authenticate (inside the iView only). If we authenticate then the Web Dynpro application works fine. So only in combination with a anonymous user the application is not working.
    <b>We performed all these settings:</b>
Anonymous user access to Web Dynpro

    Hi Kelly,
the point here is native SharePoint integration. If your company does not have a SharePoint strategy then I absolutely agree with you. There are plenty of ways on how you can integrate WebDynpros, iViews, and other "SAP views" in SharePoint.
The "problem" with these integrations is always that it is not a native / low-level integration. It is just an iFrame within SharePoint that contains data coming from another system. This means that this data is isolated from any other functionality that is available in SharePoint.
Of course this can be enough for some usecases (maybe for all of yours ), but there are lots of companies who do want to leverage all of SharePoints (collaborative) functionalities. In this case Duet Enterprise does offer a way to integrate SAP objects into SharePoint on a "low-level". All objects that are integrated into SharePoint are then available as "real" SharePoint objects. You can work with them like with any other SharePoint object. You can even offline them using standard SharePoint functionalities. You can bring them to Outlook without any major development, ...
All this because we not only include an isolated iFrame in SharePoint, but really integrate the data.
Like I said: there are certainly usecases where this is not required and a simple iFrame is all that you need. However, we have seen in several projects now that there is also a requirement / need for a "deeper" integration.

    Holger.

  • How to integrate BW Hierarchy into Webi?

    Hi Everybody,
I need to create a report based on 0FIGL_V10_Q0001 in Webi and this query has a hierarchy and i have created the hierarchy from the designer itself. In webi, when i tried to pull 1 of the hierarchy dimension with key figure, it shows no data but if i remove the key figure i can view the information. May i know what went wrong with it or do you have a details on how to integrate BW hierarchy into Webi?
Your assistance on this is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    use the following link:
    https://sapmats-us.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=SOTBBWVP5VS0BRNUJFQWYL5A6L3GXGPDJ59UKUDZMA1UVE1WOQ
(should work properly in about 10 min)
    - merge the regsitry file to your BusinessObjects Server
    - Restart the Services via a restart of the Server Intelligence Agent
    - re-run the report with keyfigures
You should see 2 logfiles being created on the C:\ root folder
attach the logfiles to this message (do not copy past the content).
I assume the underlying BI query works fine.

  • Integrate WEBI into PORTAL

    HI Gurus
I have a problem, i want to create an iVIEW in the SAP portal to call a report made in Webi.
is it posible ???? and how to make that?
    saludos amigos

    Hi Sogaard,
    see below:
How does SAP recommend to integrate Webi-report in the SAP Portal? Is it through an URL iview, the iview templates (thumbnail, folder and alert) or through the Master Iview?
The sample iViews are just samples for a particular case. The iView template allows you to use any application on the BusinessObjects system - including the viewing of content. What you are looking for is the creation process for WebI. So you have 2 options: you can use the KM integration and you can build a java application that offers the workflow you looking for and integrate it with the iView template
Depending on what method should be used, I'd like to know which settings to be focused on. For instance, if the Master Iview is to be used, should opendocument be used instead of reports? And what other customizations will have to be done in order to integrate a Webi-report instead of a Crystal-Report?
OpenDocument is for viewing reports. The Installation Guide outlines the integration of the iView template and the KM part.
What is the intended use for the BOBJ repositoy manager? Would that be the way to integrate the Info-view?
This is the integration into the KM repository which provides a richer functionality then just an iView.

    Dear sampathdevunuri kumar,
You may develop the addon based on SDK DIServer for required function.
The DI Server is an extension of the DI API and supports all its objects. It is intended for high-volume data integration, where numerous client connections must be managed simultaneously and optimized for speed. It is also suitable where Web-services architecture is preferred.
Please refer to SDK help and SDK DIServer sample for more information.

  • How do I integrate Adobe Flex into Oracles Webcenter Interaction portal

We currently use Oracle Webcenter Interaction portal 10gr3 (ALUI Portal)... Does anyone know how or can provide documentation on how to integrate adobe flex into this portal.. Our portal is on windows but it is the java installation of the portal. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
    thanks
    Laura

While I'd still like others to chime in with anything they may know (or think), I've gleaned the following:
    1)
"Oracle will support ALUI for the next 9 years and no customer will be forced to migrate off of ALUI. The long term direction is to migrate key features of ALUI into Web Center. "
    2)
"Web Center will be the strategic portal offering. Customers looking to move to Web Center may get credit for their ALUI cost.
We are currently selling Web Center and ALUI as one single suite. So customers buying the suite don’t have to choose between one or the other and get both automatically.

  • Integrate javascript event into Oracle ADF Components

Can someone show me how to use javascript attribute, for instance onclick, in CoreCommandButton? How do we normally integrate javascript event into Oracle ADF Components?

    Hi,
you already have a link. Its not an Oracle project but a project of Wilfred from Eurotransplant. Feel free to ping him directly on this or ask this question on the Forms forum, if you haven't already, where he most likely is signed up for.

  • Is it possible to integrate a from into salesforce?

Is it possible to integrate a from into salesforce? Does adobe or maybe this is a question for salesforce, but can the information I ask for in a created form be sent to salesforce and created into a report:?

Hi Josh has API integration been setup with adobe form central yet?
I want to automatically have them added to our campaign in GetResponse  which allows API and seems to have just about every other form creater link available?
I dont want to have to export files and then re import them as this is just for daily enquiries on our website.
I also found it strange that the responses in form central have no way of directly linking to a campaign mailing list in business catalyst which is what we were using.
Why does this need to be so difficult?
In fact, I would much prefer if I could create the form in Adobe Muse and just have it save the person to our database in BC or elsewhere. But again no option to do  this, which means retyping out data manually.
    Id love a good solution.
    thanks
    Brian

  • Can I integrate Lotus database into Oracle with ODI

I would like to know is it possible to integrate Lotus into Oracle with ODI.
I know that Lotus database (file extension .nsf) is not an relational database, but it is possible to extract the data from Lotus database into XML and ODI supports XML
so one solution would be to convert Lotus database to XML and then integrate the data into Oracle with ODI (Am I wrong?)
Is there another solution, where I could directly integrate data from Lotus into Oracle with ODI

IBM do provide JDBC access to Lotus Notes data. This is likely to be the best way. Google "LOTUS NOTES JDBC DRIVER" and you find links to IBM's info.

We do indeed recommend replacing the osmf.swc from a Flex 4 project if you're going to use OSMF in Flex 4, but you may (will?) run into issues if you attempt to use Flex's VideoPlayer within that project.  Note also that you'll need to replace osmf.swc for each individual project (or edit your flex-config.xml file to point to the updated SWC).
In terms of future plans, we are working closely with the Flex team to ensure that their next release ships with the latest OSMF version.  No ETA on that though.
I have followed the recommendations and removed the old version of swc and replaced it with the release version. And so far the video and audio players work fine without errors.
But looking at the flex-config.xml I see that it still points to the old version.

    <policy-file-url></policy-file-url>
    </runtime-shared-library-path>
Could you elaborate a little bit more on editing this part of flex-config.xml?

  • Integrate .exe files into portal

    Hi SDN's,
How to integrate .exe files into portal. There is no threads are available in forum also. could u guys plz help me...
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Renushree
why do you want to store .exe files in the portal. Be aware there might be users with different OS which do not support .exe files.
As Michael suggested you can upload the .exe files (like any other file) in a KM repository and make them available through an ordinary KMNavigation iView.
Maybe you could explain why you want to "integrate" the files into SAP NetWeaver Portal.
    Best regards,
    Martin

  • Integrate Acrobat updates into install (Slipstream)

We use SCCM 2007 R3 in our corporate environment.  We need to deploy Acrobat 10 and 11 Std and Pro.  Is there a (realativly) easy way to integrate Adobe patches for each product into a single package?  I don't want to install Acrobat 10.0.0 Pro, but need the latest patched version without making multiple installs.
For Adobe CS5/6 products like Illustrator and Photoshop, we could use the Adobe Application Manager Entepris4e Edition (AAMEE) to integrate these updates into one install.  Baffled at why Adobe does not do this for Acrobat.

It's called Administrative Installation Point (AIP)
