Integrating a index of string into button!

Hello!
I'm trying to get this code working where I want to integrate a shortcut for clicking an button made in Egde Animate.
The code snippets you see is just some copied areas of the whole working code, don't need to read more code than this.
Serial.print(c);
        if (c == '\n') {
          if (readString.indexOf("?") <0)
            //do nothing
          else
             if(readString.indexOf("UP=UP") >0)
                 movetiltupstep();
// now output HTML data starting with standard header
          client.println("HTTP/1.1 200 OK");
          client.println("Content-Type: text/html");
          client.println();
          //set background to green
          client.print("<body style=background-color:green>");
          client.println("<hr />");
          client.println("<center>");
          client.println("<h1>Servo control</h1>");
          client.println("<form method=get name=SERVO>");
          client.println("<input type=submit value=UP name=UP style=\"width:100px\"><br>");
          client.println("<input type=submit value=LT name=LT style=\"width:100px\"><input type=submit value=CN name=CN style=\"width:100px\"><input type=submit value=RT name=RT style=\"width:100px\"><br>");
          client.println("<input type=submit value=DN name=DN style=\"width:100px\">");
          client.println("</form>");
          client.println("</center>");
          client.println("</body></html>");
          //clearing string for next read
          readString="";
          //stopping client
          client.stop();
void movetiltupstep(){
  tiltpos = tilt.read();
  Serial.println(tiltpos);
  if (tiltpos >= 66)
  tilt.write(tiltpos - 2);
This is just an overview of my setup for a webpage, where I can move a servo with a button and this is called movetiltupstep();
The ordinary button is made here, ("<input type=submit value=UP name=UP style=\"width:100px\"><br>"); and I want to use this with an interactive button in Edge Animate.
For making a button in Edge Animate, this is the setup, function(sym, e) and I tried to integrate something like this:
// insert code for mouse click here
"<input type=submit value=UP name=UP>" Here is my problem, this is the ordinary code, but how to integrate this string index so that the button can be interactive?
How would i proceed with this problem, ideas anyone?

Hey all,
So after following the instructions from this helpful blog:
https://blogs.oracle.com/webcenterportal/entry/oracle_bpm_suite_oracle_webcenter
I was able to integrate a Worklist on my Portal page and successfully deploy my application.  However, when I navigate to my page, the worklist displays the following error:
Error showing tasklist. Possible reasons could be : 1. SOA server connection information is not available. 2. If it is run in federated mode, the default server may be down.
Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening?  I am certain that my SOA/BPM Servers are up and running just fine.
My wf_client_config.xml file looks like this:

    You need to convert the std::vector<std::string> into a sequence of bytes. For example, if all strings are shorter than 256 characters, you could create a fresh output string, iterator through the vector, and for each element, append the string length to the output string, followed by the string contents.
    Note that ordering in the database will be different from lexicographic order, and you have to keep that in mind when performing range queries.

  • How do I copy/paste full numerical-only account strings into the Projects WebADI template when the account segment fields in the template require use of the dropdown because they're formatted as alpha-numeric values?

    How do I copy/paste full numerical-only account strings into the Projects WebADI template when the account segment fields in the template require use of the dropdown because they're formatted as alpha-numeric values? I'm using the Integrator named "Projects - Transaction Import" and a custom Layout created based on the seeded Layout named "Transaction Import - Accounted". Do I need to somehow change my Layout to make the Document accept numerical values instead of requiring alpha-numeric values? I need to be able to populate the Document with a large amount of transactions and cannot feasibly go through every transaction to add the alpha-valued name of the account segment to every segment that requires it. The segments in particular causing the problem are "Expnd Type" and "Organization Name" which are both alpha-numeric and as such contain the segment number and name; I need to be able to only have to enter the Natural Account Number (6-digit number only) and the Organization Number (5-digit number only).

  • CHM buttons are not localized in a French project (shows English Contents, Index, Search, Print, Hide buttons)

    I opened an old WinHelp project into my new RoboHelp 7. When
    I generate the CHM, even with the Project Settings in RoboHelp set
    to French and running in a French Windows operating system (MS
    Windows XP Pro 2002 SP 2), the CHM output is still in English. The
    buttons display in English (Contents, Index, Search, Print, Hide
    buttons). The title bar of the CHM also says &quot;HTML
    Help&quot; even though the project title in the Project
    Settings is &quot;Aide en ligne...&quot;.
    My Windows Regional Settings through the Control Panel -
    Regional Options tab is set French (France). On the Languages tab I
    under Text Services and Input Languages, Details button, I selected
    French (France) French. On the Advanced tab I selected French. Then
    I rebooted.
    On the language bar on my Task pane, I selected FR. The CHM
    still displays in English.
    Please help! I have to produce 4 CHMS in languages other than
    English today.
    Thanks!

    GinaL, would you be able to give us an update? Did the CHM
    files look ok on a PC with a true French OS installed?
    To avoid having to rewrite everything, I've written the
    following info/instructions for my team -- though I'm not yet sure
    they're 100% correct:
    After I reported this issue to Adobe, they worked on the
    problem for several days. They even sent me a new
    HtmSingleSourceHtmlHelp.dll file that was supposed to solve the
    problem. But it didn't work correctly. No matter what contortions
    we put ourselves through, we couldn't get both of these items
    correct in the CHM file at the same time, namely:
    Index compiled in correct alphabetical order accdg to the
    language of the help project.
    Correctly translated help title showing in the caption,
    regardless of the user's Windows regional settings. (For example,
    we wanted "FORMS-Hilfe zu FORMS 5-3" to appear as the caption of
    the German version of FORMS help, even if our regional settings
    were set to English.)
    I think we'd all agree that the index has to be in
    alphabetical order. So from what I've seen, this is what we have to
    do when compiling a non-English version of help using RH7:
    1. Set up the project with the foreign name.
    2. Set the language in the project settings. And in the
    Project Settings dialog, click Advanced and check out the LNG File
    tab to make sure it's using a translated version.
    3. Ensure that the Window Caption setting is correct in each
    window included in the project. (On RoboHelp's Project tab, open
    the Windows folder, double-click each window in turn, and check the
    settings.)
    4. Set the Language setting in the HHP file to Language=[hex
    value for that language]. I found a bunch of them listed on this
    web page. Someone else might be able to find a better source:
    https://svn.origo.ethz.ch/scoop/es_scoop_60/library/i18n/locale/nls/i18n_nls_lcid_tools.e
    5. Change your Windows regional settings to the same language
    as the help project. (Reboot if prompted.)
    6. Recommended, for safety's sake: Delete the CPD file.
    7. Open the project and compile using RH7.
    8. Check the index's sort order -- is it in alphabetical
    order according to the language of the project?
    9. Check the help caption -- make sure it's not "HTML Help".
    Note: Any customized buttons in your CHM should appear
    correctly translated, but other buttons (Contents, Index, Search)
    still appear in English -- at least they do on my PC, even though I
    did step 2 above. We need to check whether those buttons appear
    correctly when the PC is actually running a true foreign version of
    Windows, and not just with temporarily adjusted Windows settings.
    OR -- is anyone else able to get these to appear translated in the
    CHM file?
    Does anyone have anything to add? Other solutions? Easier
    procedures? Better results to report?
    Thank you
    Eileen

  • BPM xpath issue with last-index-within-string

    Hey all,
    I have a script task in BPM that updates a field by using multiple xpath functions. I have narrowed the issue down to the oraext:last-index-within-string function.
    If I do something like oraext:last-index-within-string('ora/in/ok/d', '/').....I get 9 like expected.
    But if I base it off the request data like so:
    oraext:last-index-within-string(bpmn:getDataObject('Request')/ns:document/ns1:dDocAccount, '/')........when I go to em I have an internal xpath error.
    I'm assuming it has something to do with using bpmn:getDataObject as a parameter. But I'm not sure what. If I use the getDataObject as a parameter in substring like so:
    substring(bpmn:getDataObject('Request')/ns:document/ns1:dDocAccount, 8)....it works as expected.
    What is it about the combination with last-index-within-string that is giving me an issue??
    Thanks
    John

    Got it. Apparently, sometimes with xpath, you have to concatenate the variable with an empty string to change it into a string....sometimes, but not all the time...yay.... I'm guessing the xpath inbuilt functions already know to convert the variable passed in into a string, whereas the oraext functions don't. I could be completely wrong on that though...:-P . Anyway, this works:
    oraext:last-index-within-string(concat(bpmn:getDataObject('Result')/ns:document/ns1:dDocAccount, ''), '/')
    Thanks,
    John

  • Loading a large number of strings into memory quickly

    Hello,
    I'm working on an iPhone application where I need to load a large number of strings into memory. Currently I'm simply reading from a file where each string is stored in plain text on a single line. I read the file contents into a string using stringWithContentsOfFile and then I create an NSSet object using NSSet setWithArray:[string componentsSeparatedByString:@"\n"]];
    This works like a charm but takes around 8 seconds to load on the iPhone. I'm looking for ways to speed this up. I've already tried a few things which weren't any faster:
    1) I used [NSKeyedArchiver archiveRootObject:myList toFile:appFile]; to store the NSSet data structure. Then instead of reading the text file storage. I read this file using [NSKeyedUnarchiver unarchiveObjectWithFile:appFile]; This was actually very slow and created a strings file that was about 2x the size of the original plain text.
    2) Instead of using an NSSet, I used and NSDictionary and used writeToFile and dictionaryWithContentsOfFile. This was also no faster.
    3) Finally I tried using the NSDictionary to write to a binary file format using NSPropertyListSerialization. This was also not any faster.
    I've been thinking about using SQLite instead of the flat file read, but I haven't had a chance to prototype that out to see if it would be faster. It's important that I can do fast searches for specific strings, which is why I originally used a set.
    Does any one else have any ideas how to load this into memory faster? If all else fails, I'm simply going to load the strings into memory using a separate thread on application launch so I don't prevent the user from getting to the main menu for 8 seconds.
    Thanks,
    -Keith

    I'd need to know more about what you're doing, but from what you're describing I think you should try to change your algorithm.
    For example: Instead of distributing one flat file, split your list of strings into 256 files, based on the first two hex digits of their MD5 hashes*. (Two digits might not be enough--you might need three or four. You may also want to use folders, especially if you need more than two digits.) When testing if a string exists, first calculate its MD5 hash and extract the necessary number of digits, then load that file into memory and scan its list. (You can cache these lists in memory so that you only have to load each file once--just make sure that a didReceiveMemoryWarning message will empty those caches.)
    Properly configured, SQLite may be faster than the eight second load time you talk about, especially if you ensure it indexes the column you store the strings in. But it's probably overkill for this application.
    \* A hash is a numeric code calculated from a string; on average, changing a single bit anywhere in the string should change half the bits in the hash, so even very similar strings should generate very different hashes. I suggest using MD5 instead of -\[NSString hash\] because the hash method is not guaranteed to return the same results on Mac OS and iPhone OS, or on different releases of either OS. You could also use a different algorithm, like a CRC; these are faster but I'm not as familiar with them. This thread discusses calculating MD5 hashes on iPhone OS: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7362074

  • "converting strings into integers in a array"

    I'm really left scrating my head trying to figure this out.
    What I have right now is this
    public class NameManager
         private names[] collection; // collection of names
         private int count;
         public NameManager() // Creating an array which for now is empty
              collection = new names[1000];
              count = 0;
              String [] collection = {"boston", "Springfield", "New Haven",
                        "New York", "Albany"};
    Its a namemanager for my road trip project which will be sort of like mapquest. What it does, or it's supposed to do is I have a array of names of cities, that represented as strings, in a array called, collection. What my proffeser wants me to do is turn the strings into integers, so in this elements in the array can be referenced .
    It's probably so easy that I'll want to kick myself when I find out how to do it , but for whatever reason , all the information have found on the internet seems to go right over
    If any body can give some idea of how to turn the string you see above into a set of intege s I would be so grateful.

    turn the string into the index in the array
    i.e.
    boston => 0
    springfield => 1
    New Haven => 2
    New York => 3
    Albany => 4I should've mention this before but I need the names to go along with the numbers.
    This is the directions from my proffesser, I know it's not the easiest to understand
    but hopefully It will give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.
    A name manager. This object turns strings into numbers. Every time a name is added to the name manager, it is checked to see if it has already been seen. If so, return the number previously assigned to the name. If not, increment the "number of known names" and return this number as well as remember the string for future reference. You can assume that there will be no more than 1000 names in the manager. Each name is a string.
    A city. A city is a simple object: the city has a name and a number (at present).
    I got most of this part done it just strings integers part that's getting me.

  • Cutting string into peaces

    i have to cut string into equal length peaces according to
    the length of the first word, and delete spaces between the words to one space like this
    ( _ = space )
    "_ _ _ How__ do__ you__ do__today "
    now it returns
    How
    __d
    o__
    you
    __d
    o__
    tod
    ay_
    should be
    How
    do_
    you
    do_
    tod
    ay_
    the following code cuts the string into equal length
    peaces but it doesnt cut the spaces between words so
    that there is only one space that between the words.
    How can i do that????
    import java.io.*;
    class Cutting{
         public static void main(String []args)throws IOException {
         BufferedReader stdin=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
         String str=" How do you do today ";
         String[] cutStr;
         char spr= (' ');
         char rpl= (' ');
         int index=0;
         int offset =0;
         cutStr=cut(str,spr,rpl,stdin);
         for(index=0;index<str.length();index++)
         System.out.println( cutStr[index]);
         //System.out.print("\n" +(cutStr=cut(str, spr, rpl))+"totanoi");
         }//main
    static String[] cut(String str, char spr, char rpl,BufferedReader stdin)throws IOException {
    str = str.trim();
    int wordLen = str.indexOf(spr);
    if (wordLen == -1) {
    return new String[]{ str};
    int words = (int)Math.ceil(str.length() / (double)wordLen);
    String[] cutStr = new String[words];
    int offset = 0, index = 0;
    for (; (offset + wordLen) < str.length(); ++index) {
    cutStr[index] = str.substring(offset, (offset + wordLen)).replace(spr, rpl);
    offset += wordLen;
    cutStr[index] = str.substring(offset, str.length()).replace(spr, rpl);
    while (cutStr[index].length() < wordLen) {
    cutStr[index] += rpl;
    return cutStr;
    }//class

    use the StringTokenizer class.. very easy to use.. in this case, youd "jump" over all the spaces, and retrieve only the words, do something like:
    StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(source, " ");
    StringBuffer  sb = new StringBuffer();
    while (st.hasMoreTokens()) {
      String next = st.getNext();
    if ( next != null && next.length() >= 1 ) {
      sb.append( next + " " ); //add next word, and trailing space.
      return sb.toString().trim();  //return source with ONE space between each word
                 //trim() called to remove leading/trailing spaces.hope that helps.. i have not tested it, so you might need to change some of the arguments in the StringBuffer/Tokenizer... just look at java docs for info on those two classes and you shouldnt have a problem with this.
    good luck!

  • Is there an easy way to convert a long string into an array?

    I can convert a long string into a 1-d array by parsing and using build array, but I would like to know if there is a function to make this easier.
    For example:

    Try something like this:
    (If you can guarantee that the string length is an integer multiple of 8, you an drop the two triangular modes in the upper left. )

  • How to read and write a string into a txt.file

    Hi, I am now using BEA Workshop for Weblogic Platform version10. I am using J2EE is my programming language. The problem I encounter is as the above title; how to read and write a string into a txt.file with a specific root directory? Do you have any sample codes to reference?
    I hope someone can answer my question as soon as possible
    Thank you very much.

    Accessing the file system directly from a web app is a bad idea for several reasons. See http://weblogs.java.net/blog/simongbrown/archive/2003/10/file_access_in.html for a great discussion of the topic.
    On Weblogic there seems to be two ways to access files. First, use a File T3 connector from the console. Second, use java.net.URL with the file: protocol. The T3File object has been deprecated and suggests:
    Deprecated in WebLogic Server 6.1. Use java.net.URL.openConnection() instead.

  • Issue with splitting string into multiple lines

    Hi Experts,
    I have a long string s. I want to split this string into several lines each having 72 characters. For this I have done following programming:
         String s = "For the first time it includes a supplementary report attempting to determine if extreme weather
    events can be linked to human-induced climate change. The research team, including members
    of the UK Met Office, identified recent episodes of extreme weather then used a computer to
    estimate the likelihood of the episode happening in a world without increased CO2." ;
         s = s.replaceAll("[\r\n]+", " ");
         char[] sAr = s.toCharArray();
         AbstractList RecepitsList7 = new Bapitrtext.Bapitrtext_List();;
         int start = 0; // start with
         int i = 72 ;
    //     for (int i = 71; i < sAr.length; i++) {
    while (i < sAr.length) {
    //     {     if (sAr[i] == ' ')
                   Bapitrtext Recepits7 = new Bapitrtext();
                   Recepits7.setTextid("TEXT");
                   Recepits7.setTextline(s.substring(start, i).replaceAll("[\r\n]+", ""));
                   RecepitsList7.add(Recepits7);
                   start = i+1;
                   i += 72;
         input.setText(RecepitsList7);
    The output of program is as below:
    For the first time it includes a supplementary report attempting to dete
    mine if extreme weather events can be linked to human-induced climate
    hange. The research team, including members of the UK Met Office, iden
    ified recent episodes of extreme weather then used a computer to estim
    te the likelihood of the episode happening in a world without increased
    Here as we can see last characters are getting deleted by program. For example in first line
    determine 'r' is missing in extreme right.
    In 3rd line c is missing in extreme left (word change is needed. Program
    prints hange.
    Also in 3rd line extreme right 't' is missing
    Also in 4th line extreme right 'a' is missing
    Also the last line is not being printed. In last line "CO2." " should appear.
    There are two issues:
    1. Why last word of each sentence is not being printed?
    2. Why last sentence is not being printed?
    I am struggling since last 2 days. Please help. I made all changes like replacing 72 by 71 etc.
    By making such changes, I am able to print first line correctly. However under all cases
    last character of 2nd line onward is not getting displayed.
    Also last line is not getting displayed. I did every thing like using while instead of for loop etc.
    Kindly help.
    Regards,
    Gary

  • Passing a string into an SQL query IN statement

    Hello,
    I need to connect to a database to pull some data to dynamically create a form based on the data I pull back. My SQL query works fine when I manually run it through a SQL client tool, but when I try to pass it through my workflow I'm having trouble with passing my string into the IN part of the statement. So if for example my SQL query is:
    SELECT Field1, Field2, Field3 FROM Table1 WHERE Field4 IN (?)
    I have a process variable that has the string I'm trying to pass into the ?, but I don't seem to be able to get the query to run. I have tried setting up my query to run as a Parameterized Query (passing my string process variable into the ?), and by setting the query up through xPath (where I am calling my process variable with an xPath declaration), but am not having any luck.
    The process variable I am trying to pass is formatted such that I'm passing 'Value1','Value2','Value3' but I can reformat this string if need be. Even with using test data I can't get the query to return anything. For test data I have tried: 'Value1','Value2','Value3' ; Value1','Value2','Value3 ; Value1,Value2,Value3 but the query never returns any data. I can't seem to see how to format the string to pass into the query. The Query will work with a single Value in the test data, but as soon as I try to pass multiple values within the string it fails. Any suggestions?

    The problem looks to be a limit on what I can pass into the SQL query component. My string is coming from data returned from another database. I take the xml output from that database call, pass it through a set variable component to remove my xml tags from the string, and then format the string in a script component (I have to do it this way because of the way the data coming out of my first database call). I've put in loggers, and can see that the string I'm passing into my query that is giving me problems, is formatted the same way as if I were to use the concat function Scott listed above. It looks like there is a limitation on what can be passed in my variable. I have tried creating my entire SQL query statement in a set variable component, and then just calling the process variable that holds that statement, but there is a character limit of 128 character for what can be passed in a variable through xpath in the SQL query component.
    The next thing I tried was changing my SQL where clause. Instead of passing my variable directly into the IN statement I set up a PATINDEX('%:'+countyname+ ':%', ?) > 0 call to check for the values in my database call. As you can see I took out the "," that I was passing as part of my string, thinking that the SQL component was getting confused by them, and placed ":" characters around my values being passed in my string variable. No matter what I try to do though I'm not able to get the query to run. The component looks like it is taking my string, and is seeing the whole thing as a string instead of passing it as individual values within a string.
    I think I'm getting close, but I keep getting a Content not allowed in prolog exception in the server logs.
