Integration Builder: Configuration Integration Directory not start.

Hello,
After we patch PI from sp14 to sp 23 while we starting the Integration Directory, it result in the error "Unable to launch the application"while verifying the application:
com.sun.deploy.net.JARSigningException: Could not verify signing in resource: http://<hostname>:port/dir/directory/aii_ibdir_sbeans.jar.
we have jre 1.6.0_24.
I get this error:

I am New to XI,
I have gone through 4 scenarios of XI in a system where Xi is up and running sucessfully.
Now one of my colleague Installed ECC5 with XI in our local server.
I need to do a File 2 File Scenario, for which I could create Product, component, Technical System and Business System in SLD.
I could Create a Name space, Message types and Interfaces in Integration Builder - Design
But When I open Configuration Wizard, Internal Communication in Integration Builder- configuration, it is giving a exception : java.lang.NullPointerException.
Can any one help me in resolving this.

Hi,
In Exchange profile chack the SLD , http port for Integration Bulder properties.like IR,ID , i hope it will try to check for the SLD info , if it is the first time of XI using , you need to check in Exhcnge profile .
if it is not the first time then refresh the SLD cache..

Scene Builder 1.0 will not start

Hi. For a number of months I've been using Scene Builder 1.0 (BuildInformation = Version: 1.0-b50, Changeset: 22db15834430 Date = 2012-08-07 16:33) on a Windows 7 system. However, it has been about a month since I last used Scene Builder. Today, I tried to use Scene Builder and it would not start. No error message was displayed. I uninstalled Scene Builder and reinstalled it... that did not help.
I noticed the logging.properties file in the "bin" directory. This file contained: java.util.logging.FileHandler.pattern = %t/scenebuilder.log. So, I looked in the system temp directory... no log file.
The JRE (used by my browsers, etc.) has been updated within the last month, but I am guessing Scene Builder is isolated from any JRE changes, right?
I downloaded and installed Scene Builder 1.1 (pre-release). Fortunately, Scene Builder 1.1 starts.
However, I would still like to know why Scene Builder 1.0 does not start. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot the problem?

Glad it's not just me...
I had the same problem. Either it downloaded a patch and fixed itself, or this worked:
Go to Control Panel / Add / remove programs (in Control Panel / all control panel items / Programs and Features / Add remove programs)
Right click on Adobe Reader and select Change.
Choose Repair
This appears to have reinstalled the Core DLL file, and it seems to be working normally now.

Integration DIRECTORY not STARTING

HI all,
I am able to login to Integration reepository (IR). If i right click and do save as the file is saved as .JNLP file .
I am not able to login to Integartion Directory (ID).
If i right click and do save as the file is saved as .HTML file .
now i know this is the problem but i am not able to correct it. Can anyone guide me how to do ?
I am seen all the relevant blogs regarding ID not starting and done all checks .
It is really urgent .....

Hi Niladri,
Why don't you try replcing your server name with the IP Address while starting the Integation Directory. I men when you open the Integration Directory it would say page not found , in the adress tool bar just replace your server name with IP address. it may work . If it works then the problem is there in the exchange profile which is created in the administration. Ask your basis guys to have a look at the exchange profile once again.

Business Systems not appearing in the Integration Builder (Configuration)

This is not appearing in the Integration Builder.
I executed the delta cache in transcation SXI_CACHE but the issue is same. Please let me know what should I do to get the business systems.

Business system from SLD not visible in Integration Directory

Integration Builder configuration.

Dear All,
 I am new to XI as Basis Administrator. I need to configure Integration Builder for developers. All I have access is to SLD http://<hostname>/sld and SAP GUI.
 All I know is I need to install JRE with version > 1.4.* and configure web proxy to access XI server.
 My question is what will developers expect me to configure, and what will developer be doing with integration builder ? (tasks in broad terms)
 Do I need to perfrom any tasks on Visual administrator to make some settings ? what are minimum authorizations should I give to developer ?
 Any reasonable advice will be helpful get start configuring integration builder.

XI Developers needs Rights for
1 Usually the technical system configuration is carried out by basis or admin team
2 Integration builder - creating all design objects, configuration objects
3. You have to provide access for the developer to monitor in RWB

PI - Integration Builder - configure hostname (link)

our integration builder linkname (example design or SLD) shows the wrong hostname.
Where i have to configure the name for this links and for the java webstart application.

Under Connections:

If you alsa changed the http port, you will have to change the corresponding http ports for these connections.

Integrated Weblogic server in JDeveloper not starting

Mahesh, you have to distinguish between an application error and a server error. Open the application server navigator, open the the application server navigator and right click on the integrated application server, choose run from the context menu.
Do you see the error now? Or do you see (after some time) a message <Running> in the log window?
If you see running the server starts uo OK and you have an application error.
If you see the error in the log window you should open the system11.1.1.x.x.x.x folder (check How to find and reset the system11.x.x.x folder for a JDeveloper installation | JDev &amp; ADF Goodies for more info) and rename the 'DefaultDomain' folder. This will delete the integrated server and it'll be recreated once you start it again. However all manual changes like added data sources are gone and you have to add them again.

I am message for test and I can see the message into PI the estatus is Recorded and flag is color Green.
but no show an error or problems only stay in Recorded Status , othe observation into the SXMB_MONI the fiel Receiver component and Receiver Interface are empty,

9.3.1 to 9.3.3 Upgrade - Configuration utility does not start

Hello,
I am trying to upgrade my 9.3.1 environment (Tomcat/Oracle DB) to 9.3.3. I was able to upgrade Shared Services without issue. The next step from the upgrade documentation was to upgrade Essbase Client (again no issues), then Essbase server. At that point I noticed that I couldn't start the configuration utility, i.e., it just does not open up. It was creating an "hs_err_pid" log which said:

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x08083d77, pid=3700, tid=2896
It seems that I get this after upgrading Essbase server, but not before. Has anyone seen this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is related to java compatibility, I would try to see if JVM installed is compatible with the upgrade requirement.

Configuration Utility does not start after 9.3.1 to 9.3.3 upgrade

Hi All,
I'm trying to upgrade my 9.3.1 VM environment to 11.1.2.1. So first i need to get it to 9.3.3 as per the supported upgrade path.
I followed the various readme and other docs and proceeded with the following order:
1. Shared Services
2. Essbase Clients
3. Essbase Server
Now after each of the first two upgrades, the Configuration Utility was working. After Essbase Server upgrade, The Configuration Utility just doesn't start up.
I also restored the original 9.3.1 image and this time tried upgrading the EAS as number 3 in the above order. Same result.
Every time I try starting the Utility, a new log is generated called "hs_err_pidxxxx.log" with the xxxx being a random 4 digit number.
A part of the error is posted below

Browser (integration builder ) is not getting opened in tcode SXMB_IFR

i am working on SAP XI 7.0 sp12 . recently we are facing one problem like when we hit tcode SXMB_IFR , the message shows : "start of application: start integration builder " but it does not starts browser(integration builder ) .. did any body face this problem.. please help

Hi,
I think one or more of below mentioned services are not up and running.
1. Start the Visual Administrator of the J2EE engine.
2. Choose Cluster u2192 Server u2192 Services u2192 Deploy
3. In the right frame, select the radio button Application.
A list of the deployed services appears.
4. Check if the following services are running
u2022 All services beginning with
u2212 sap.com/com.sap.aii*
u2212 sap.com/com.sap.lcr*
u2212 sap.com/com.sap.xi*
u2022 sap.com/com.sap.rprof.remoteProfile
If one of the services is not running, select the services and choose Start Application.
After doing the above steps try again, you should be able to see the IB.

Integration Builder doesn't start after SP11

Hi,
I am installing a new XI 3.0 SP1 system on Linux (SLES8). After installation, everything worked fine, I patched the system to stack 11. After this patch, the Integration Builder Configuration doesn't start anymore, the Java Web Start error message being 'JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by same certificate'. The option 'Re-initialization and force-signing' in Java Web Start Administration has no effect.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi Jos,
I had exactly the same problem. After discovering that 'Cummulative patch for XI TOOLS 3.0 SP11' miraculously disappeared from download area in SAP Marketplace I decided to undeploy whatever was possible from this patch (com.sap.aii.security.ws.proxy, com.sap.xi.directory, com.sap.xi.ibresources, com.sap.xi.repository, com.sap.xi.rwb and com.sap.services) and deploy 'Support Package 11 for XI TOOLS'.
Both Integration Builder links (Repository and Directory) are working again.
Another question is valid now: How to fix whatever Note 825655 supposed to (Patch 1 for SP11 XI3.0 contained fix described in this note)? I'm hoping that SAP Support could solve this problem soon.

1. Situation
OS: windows 2000 pro English
Java version: jdk 1.5.x was already installed. (Its not permitted to change.)
I dont have any authorization to install any software on the PC.
But I need to use an Integration Builder.
I already knew URLs of an Integration Builder (http://<hostname>:50000/rep/start/repository.jnlp).
2. How To Do
At this moment, an Integration Builder (XI 3.0) can be launch under jre 1.4.x environment (on windows).
2.1 jre preparation
I download j2re-1_4_2_10-windows-i586-p.exe from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
I installed it on my home PC and copied all files from C:\Program Files\Java\ j2re1.4.2_10\ into my USB.
2.2 Put them into the system
I pasted j2re1.4.2_10 folder from my USB into the windows 2000 pro system.
Finally, I could list up all of javaws.exe under this system.
c:\j2re1.4.2_10\javaws\javaws.exe
c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_05\bin\javaws.exe
c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_05\jre\bin\javaws.exe

2.3 Execute a Java Web Start under jre 1.4.x version
I executed c:\j2re1.4.2_10\javaws\javaws.exe .
2.4 Change Java Runtime Versions
Go to File-> Preferences -> Java
As you can see, it indicates 1.5 version.
Click [FIND] button.
Click [NEXT] button.
Click the j2re1.4.2_10 folder.
Click [NEXT] button.
A JRE Finder is able to find javaw.exe automatically. Or you can indicate C:\j2re1.4.2_10\bin\javaw.exe directly.
Click [NEXT] button.
Finally, there are two Java Runtime Versions. Now you need to uncheck the Enabled column of 1.5 version and check 1.4 version.
Click [OK] button.
Well, in the General tab, I selected None for Proxies.
2.5 Launch an Integration Builder
In the Location field, I typed the URL of an Integration Builder jnlp.
http://<hostname>:50000/rep/start/repository.jnlp
SAP Integration Builder comes up inside Applications area.
Select it and click [Start] button.
If you click Environment-> Integration Builder (Configuration), you can launch Integration Builder: Configuration.

I am not getting anywhere with deploying my application or
applet.
I have set up my bc4j project. It contains all my VO info,
links, application module. (proj a)
I then have another project with DbInfo in it(has all my rowset
info), Multiple Frames, and my Applet.java file.
Actually I have an Applet.java file and a Application.java file
because I was seeing if both/either worked. Anyway they seem the
same, except for that extra window that comes up when you run the
applet.
I follow the steps in the oracle directions (from earlier post).
And all seems ok. But at ---->
[*] Select the subdirectory under myhtml where your applet's HTML
file
is located, and enter the directory path of the 'staging'
directory you
created in step 3 above, if different from the default.</li>
[*]Select the HTML files that JDeveloper created to run your
applet.</li>
[*]Select all of the Java source files in your project that make

I have no HTML file associated with my applet, at least that I
know of.
So do I need to create one, or should it of been done
automatically.
Also, I trying to figure out what will be the best way to deploy
my project. Applet or stand alone application is what my first
choices have been so far. I have read that there is some issues
with applets being served from a different server than the
database. So a stand alone application was my front runner, but
I haven't gotten either way to work yet.
