Interaction record - unable to edit

Dear experts,
    I am currently working in CRM for Insurance. In UI whenever I click on Interaction record I get the error "transaction cancelled" and I am unable to edit few screens in the Interaction record. Kindly help me to resolve the issue.

Thanks for your reply. The IC_BT profile doesn't have any business transactions assigned. I attached the relevant ones and everything started working. I made some changes in Runtime profile too.

    We are in the process of developing an interactive form integrating Web Dynpro ABAP with Adobe forms.
    As of now we are able to send the data to Adobe form from Web Dynpro.
    But we are facing the following problem.
    i) Unable to edit the form data for entering/changing the contents of the fields in PDF document,  which is presented to user with a Web Dynpro application URL.
    We have already unset the 'ReadOnly' property of the interactive UI element.
    We are currently working on ZCI installation with SAP SP08, GUI patch level 20, Adobe Reader version 8.0

  • IC Webclient -- "Reason" field non-editable in "Interaction Record" view

    Dear All,
    I am working on CRM 5.0, IC Webclient. I have created a business transaction profile, and attached "Business Activity (0010)" as the transaction type.
    Now in the CIC screen, after clicking the "Interaction Record" hyperlink in the navigation bar, the "Interaction Record" view has the fields "Reason" and "Result" greyed out. However, in SAP GUI, the "Reason" field is editable and also has values in the drop down.
    Please guide.
    Your help would be greatly appreciated and rewarded.

  • Interaction Record : How to make it non editable based on user status = Complete and on click of  Save

    Hi Guys
    We have a requirement ,where we need to make the interaction record "not editable " when we set the user status to "Complete" and after "Save" button is pressed.
    Please note that we can't make use of status profile settings as we have to enter some information after the status is complete , that means
    after user selects status "Complete" he has to select the value from another drop down and then Save.
    Standard offers such that once the Complete is chosen in dropdown the whole screen is frozen.
    Once he saves it , the document should be locked(read only/non editable)
    Any pointers ?
    We tried "Set_view_Group_Context" and Order_Save BADI and we are not preferring disabling at attribute level as we might add few more attributes later.

    Hello,
    We had a similar requirement.
    The best way we found was to implement the enhancement spot in the beginning of method LOCK_ORDERS of class CL_CRM_METHODS_BTIL. Here, you can prevent the user from editing a business transaction. Be aware this method is called for any BT, so you need to adjust your custom development accordingly.

  • Unable to View Follow up Transactions in Interaction Record

    I have created a prospect performed the lead transaction on the prospect from the IC Role, the interaction record gets created as per the customization settings maintained, I have also performed a follow up meeting request on the lead transaction however in the follow up tab of the Interaction record, the transaction type, description and employee responsible are all blank, please advice what customization settings I need to perform for the same

    Hi Atul,
    As indicated by Garcia, the follow up view on the interaction record view set only allows creation of follow up transaction and is not indicated to display already created follow up transactions.
    You can enter data, like "description" in the follow up view and
    press button "Follow Up" for  Quick Create: here a new follow up transaction is created in the background for the entered data and added to the activity clipboard. To display the business transaction, you can click on the link in the activity clipboard
    click on link "Follow Up Details":  a follow up transaction is created with the data but user automatically navigates to the corresponding view to enter additional information. Also in this case, the follow up transaction is added to the activity clipboard.
    You might check KBA 1781481 for troubleshooting follow up transaction and note 2039600 which introduces display of the activity clipboard in the navigation bar.

    However, when I try to enter selection I_THX_SEL, it tells me:

    Diagnosis

    A subcomponent of the object has a width that exceeds 65,000 characters.
    Can anyone tell me how to make it work?

    Sorry! The code was meant only as example, as I would convert it. The names of the infoObjects are naturally differently. It concerns to me rather the understanding whether the data records are deleted individually in each case. Or all those the conditions of <b>NUMBER</b> fulfill and all those the conditions of <b>DATE</b> fulfill. I would like to delete however only the data records, which fulfill these conditions together.

  • ERMS: Creation of Interaction Record and Service Ticket

    Hi All,
    I am configuring the ERMS system (SAP CRM 2007). So far I am been able to get internal emails into the CRM system and the emails are getting routed to the respective agent's inbox based on the rule in Rule Modeler.
    I have created rule for creating Interaction Record and Service ticket. However, Interaction Record and Service ticket are not getting generated. Also, I am not able to receive external emails (yahoo, gmail etc..) into SAPconnect.
    Any input on these issues is appreciated.

    Same as the other thread, please make sure that the BP is identified for the incoming email and then only the creation of the IR/SO ERMS Actions will get executed with success.
    I am not sure, whether you still face this issue ?

    I have a report having parameter.I selected show in viewer panel as Editable.
    When I run in cr viewer 2011 But I am unable to edit the parameter value.
    Please suggest

    The Standalone CR Viewer is Not meant to 'refresh' data - it cannot connect to the database to retrieve new records.
    It can only work on 'saved data'.
    This Viewer can only refresh reports that are hosted on the BO or CR Servers.
    If you don't have these products, you can only share a copy of the report 'with saved data' and the users can view it in the free viewer - not refresh.
    If you're trying to refresh data then you have the following choices other than the above:
    1) Build a custom CR Viewer using CR SDKs that can refresh and bring in updated data
    2) Browse the free/inexpensive 3rd-party viewers that can refresh data at:

  • SAP CRM 5.0 - capturing iObject details in interaction Record - urgent

    Hi every body,
    Pl let me know how to capture iObject in Interaction Record, where to capture...is it standard functionality of SAP CRM 5.0. I am unable to find.
    Reason I am asking is: I want to create service order as a follow-up from interaction record. In this service order I will add item level service products required for this ibase.
    In Service Order there is a field to capture iObject ID, but I want this to be populated automatically when I create service order from interation record. Hence I need to know how and where to capture iObject in interation record. In case any OSS notes are there to be applied, let me know. In case development is required let me know.

  • Delete Attachment in activity/interaction record ICWEB ???

    I have implemented the deltion of attachment using following code. the commands went sucessfull but it is not deleting attachment(which is linked to activity/interaction record)
    lr_entity_col = lv_bo->get_related_entities(  iv_relation_name =  cl_crm_cm_genil_comp=>gc_rel_bo_document_ref ).
    lv_bo  =   lr_entity_col->get_first( ).
           lv_bo->delete( ).
           lv_core->modify( ).
           lv_transaction = lv_core->get_transaction( ).
           lv_transaction->save( ).
           lv_transaction->commit( ).
    Does anybody implemented similar logic?

          The code you have mentioned is fine.
         But the bug might exist in UI or BOL layer. Just to be sure that save is successful, I always use the below code. You may try the same.
      IF lv_transaction->check_save_needed( ) EQ abap_true.
        IF lv_transaction->save( ) = abap_true.

     i have downgrade my BB 8800 device OS to 4.3 , and its OS version is v4.3.1.27 (Platform 2.7.0.30) Cryptographic kernel v3.8.5.30 , So exact problem is like that now i am unable to edit the default permission for Screen Capturing properties of device, it shown the only option "Deny" and dont allow to me change it . For that i go to - Option->Security Options->Application Permissions->option button->Edit Default permissions->Interaction->Screen Capturing and it show only option "Deny" - So please suggest a solution

    What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.5.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

  • Inbound email in interaction record

    Hi experts,
    I use workflow WS 14000164 to process incoming email. I would expect somehow to have the mail in BP interaction record. I can see the workitem and the attached email in WebClient Inbox but I do not see it in interaction record. Which solution does the standard provide?
    I am using CRM2007.

    Currently even i was unable to find the solution for the inbound email attachment , i can see the attachment in the email, while processing email attachment is not automaticallly link to Interaction record.
    Even if log in to SAPGui and transation it does't contains attachment .
    Activity clipboard i can see the inbound email .

    Please help!  I need a way to automatically create a Interaction Record in the Web Client from a file.  Is anybody know how to do this.  I need to extract data from another system like R/3 and automatically load this into the interaction record, but I don't which ways to approach.

    In a SAP standard scenario an interaction record is always created. You can however control this behaviour in the "Business Transaction profile" which is linked to the "main IC web profile". In that business transaction profile you need to define a "leading" business transaction. This leading bus. trans. is the transaction that is created the moment a business partner is confirmed.
    To automatically fill this "leading" bus. trans. (an interaction record in your case) you have multiple options, you can code this directly in the webclient BSP pages (eg by subscribing to the "bp confirmed" event and then fill the interaction record that is created) or in the overall system by working with events on bus. obj. To control what is initially filled there is no standard process foreseen in this flow.

    I'm using Icweb, and since tha agent can open several type of business activities during an interaction, I store the interaction record in a separate document ( transaction type 0010). But since the agent don't go through the interaction record when he creates a transaction (in my case a complaint), the description field of the interaction record remains blank. Is there a method to copy the description of the colplaint created to the interaction record? I've tried the copy control and the text procedure, but they don't work.

    For Attribute Context: ERMS,  you can click [Insert Attribute]  button under the Subject. Afterwards, click  [Attributes] at PopUp: "Insert Attribute". You should be able you view:  "E-mail Subject" under Attributes Category: "ERMS FactBase Attribute". After  Inserting it, system will define:    <%SAP_A1, E-mail Subject>. Click back:[Insert] to place variable at the "Subject"
    Have you performed these actions and still problem persist?

    The product information associated to Interaction Record, you can find it in CRMD_ORDERADM_I table. Just insert your document GUID in field HEADER, and it will display all items of that document including the product GUID (PRODUCT field). Then you can check in COMM_PRODUCT, for master data information about any product. You can also consult CRMD_PRODUCT_I for more information about product items of your document.
    The partner information it is a little more complex. View CRMV_LINKPARTNER will show you how to get it. It envolves two tables: CRMD_LINK and CRMD_PARTNER. With your document GUID, you must consult CRMD_LINK with attributes OBJTYPE_HI = '05' and OBJTYPE_SET = '07'. Then, with GUID_SET of that entry, you must indicate it in table CRMD_PARTNER at field GUID. Hit execute and it will display your partner information.
