ERMS: Creation of Interaction Record and Service Ticket

Hi All,
I am configuring the ERMS system (SAP CRM 2007). So far I am been able to get internal emails into the CRM system and the emails are getting routed to the respective agent's inbox based on the rule in Rule Modeler.
I have created rule for creating Interaction Record and Service ticket. However, Interaction Record and Service ticket are not getting generated. Also, I am not able to receive external emails (yahoo, gmail etc..) into SAPconnect.
Any input on these issues is appreciated.

Hi Namita,
Same as the other thread, please make sure that the BP is identified for the incoming email and then only the creation of the IR/SO ERMS Actions will get executed with success.
I am not sure, whether you still face this issue ?

    We record timestamps of the system status change from open - in progress - done.

  • Creation of Interaction Record - CTI Integration

    Hello Experts,
    I have an scenario with a SAP CRM-SAP CCtr( A.K.A. BCM) integration where the customer wants to see in the "Interaction History" assignment block just the Interation Records related to phone calls.
    For all those IR created begining with a phone call (inbound or outbound) the interaction Record has an entrance in ET_DOC_FLOW structure with a field RELTYPE = CTIC which indicates this Interaction Record is a call phone. This is working fantastic in standard.
    The problem comes with the following scenario:
    If the IC Agent confirms the account BEFORE make a call, SAP CRM creates the Interaction Record document but if the IC Agent confirms the account and makes a phone call the Interaction Record has absolutely the same structures and data as if there wasn't any phone call after confirming the account.
    The question is, do I have any way, structure, event, method or whatever to identify if after confirming the account there is any call made by the IC Agent?

    Hi Lakshmana,
    There is ERMS service very similiar with your requirement: AH_CREATE_IR (corresponding class: CL_CRM_ERMS_AH_CREATE_IR). Instead of searching the BP in the subject, it tries to find it by searching with the sender email address.
    So, I would create a new service  based on this one (including a new class based on CL_CRM_ERMS_AH_CREATE_IR) and assigned it to my ERMS service manager profile. Then I would adapt the new class to meet your needs.

  • Automatic creation of interaction record

    Hi Experts,
                       We have a requirement to create the interaction record automatically. Below is the scenario.
    1. E-mail will have a subject specified with BP number, On receiving of an e-mail from a business partner(Customer)
    2.The system has to pick the BP number,category from the e-mail subject
    3. After the above mentioned step2 , system has to generate an interaction record automatically by taking the information from the e-mail subject.
    Please provide your inputs on how can i achieve the above requirement. I am looking into ERMS, i am not sure whether it really required in the above mentioned scenario. Thanks

  • Interaction Record and Multi Level Categorization

    Hello Forum,
    I would like to know if any one has implemented Multi level categorization for Interaction record in SAP CRM Web IC 7.0.
    If so how did you acheive this.
    I have done the following
    -     Create Catalogs, Codes and Code groups
    -     Create Subject profile
    -     Create Categorization schema with default subject profile.
    I could not assign Subject Profile to Transaction Type and also in the only default Subject Profile  is displayed .
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I tried to create customized catalog with Category "F" which is Activity -Reason and the system did not allow me.
    So i used A1 (SAP delivered)  which has category "F" and used it  to assign Code Group Profile and Code Groups.
    I created Subject Profile with Subject Category "F" and assigned the Code Group Profile.
    I have not usedc the Transaction for assigning subject profile and Status to Transaction Type as i do not need it.
    There is not provision to directly assign subj profile to Transaction type as like service request.
    I went through the route of assigning Subj profile to Transaction Type header and another place of assigning them in the category schema.
    This is where i do not see the Customized subject profile which i have created.
    Can you tell me where exactly i can Determine of categorization schema based on transaction type/catalog category combination.

  • Creation of Sales Order and Service Contract from Inbound IDOC

    Hi Experts,
    My requirement is to create a Sales Order as well as a Service Contract from one Inbound IDOC. I am getting the Inbound IDOC from a third Party. The message type is ORDERS and Basic Type is ORDERS02. How ever i am using an extension type IDOC which carries all the required data for Sales Order and Service Contract. My requirement is like, to create a Sales Order first.
    I have created a Z FM which is attached to the Process Code and subsequently to the message type. Inside the FM i an calling FM 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS' for creation of Sales Order. After that i am changing the IDOC data for the Document Type. I am changing the document type which is responsible for Contract Creation.
    Then I am again calling the FM 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS' for creation of Contract with the help of IDOC data. But here the Contract is not getting created. It's getting failed during the Batch input session.
    I need to solve this problem as soon as possible. Please help me. If there are any other options also please share.

    Actually there is problem with BDCDATA. Inside the FM it's calling transaction with help of BDCDATA. If i am creating a Sales order or contract alone its creating successfully. But when i am trying to create both, it's retuning sy-subrc '1001' after calling the transaction on the second attempt. Is there any problem with BDCDATA like we can't handle with less time gap? Please help and give your inputs.

    I noticed that for interaction records or follow up business activities the dates are not displayed at all in the IC. Is there a way make the configured dates (in date profile) visible in the IC?

    I am facing the same problem. Other than Appointments,Tasks,Email and Interaction record I cannot create any other Activities.
    I defined a new Transaction type assigned the category Misc but cannot create the Activity on WEBUI. As Raja suggested I have also assigned the Channel as WEBUI and ICWEBCLIENT but still does not work. Is there any Role specific customization that needs to be performed?
    Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how you resolved it.

    I would like to use BRFplus to fill out MM values and after that automaticly create info record and source list for this MM record. The first step is ok, but creating IR and Sourcelist I am not sure. What is the best way to do so?
    -> Calling FM? If so how should I use the Result Data Object and Dispatcher field in BRFplus?

    Hi,
    Yes could call FM using BRF+ Procedure Call-Function Module. And map the exporting parameter (results of FM) to BRF+ ruleset parameter and do the further processing.
    When you assign FM name then in below container UI you can add all required parameters using "Add Parameter" button.

  • Multi Level Categorization in Interaction Record

    Hello Gurus!
    We are implementing CRM 7.0 and setting up multi level categorization for interaction records and service ticket. I have managed to set up all the required config and the categorization schema in Web IC. It is working in service ticket. However, for interaction record in web IC, the problem is that in the Categorization Tab, there are no fields showing up. I tried adding the fields but there seems to be none similar to service ticket where the fields for Level 1, Level 2, etc... can be seen.
    Have you got any idea on how to make the Level fields show up in the interaction records so we can test the multi level categorization for IR?

    I have gone into IC manager role and used categorization schema and i cannot see my customized Catalog for Business activity.
    I have checked Category of the catalog which i have manually created and it is "Activity-reason" .
    I have tried using the default catalog and added my Codes into it and created Scema but i do not see the categorization in Web IC and more over the Subject feild is in active. I have added the code groups and code feilds and they are displaying a error message.

    The problem I have is that the method Subject (BADI CRM_COPY_BADI) is not called. I think it is because of the difference between the subject profile category of the Interaction Record and Service Request. The interaction record has a subject profile category (F/Activity Reason) different than the service request. Do you know if there is a solution via customizing ?

  • Interaction Record ticket to Email

    Hi Experts
    I am stuck with this problem:
    I create a service ticket from ICweb, so first an interaction Record is created then service ticket created.
    Let's say the service ticket is passed to somebody else to have a look, so with the inbox i look at all tickets created and go back to the one just created. Now I want to send an email from this ticket to the customer, the problem is the creation of the email triggers the creation of a new interaction record, and the BP of my service ticket is not passed to this interaction.
    Is there a standard way to achieve the copy here from Ticket to Interaction record for the partners as the copy control doesnt seem to work...

  • Automation of service ticket  creation using RFC

    Hello Friends,
    Here is our new requirement.
    In general, in HR team , a manager / employee will perform an action that triggers a workflow in ECC. Then they will call an agent in CRM to raise a service ticket for that. Our requirement is to automate this generation of service ticket when the manager/employee performs an action.  But sometimes CRM system will be down. so at that time we need to save the data and create the service ticket when the system becomes active.
    Approach:
    The workflow will have a method(custom enhancement) that updates a custom table in ECC.
    We(CRM) have to develop a RFC function module to read the data from ECC and update it in the custom table of CRM.
    we have to create a program to loop the data from custom table and create a service order/ticket by using a function module.
    As of now the process looked good.
    1. But we don't see any link between the record in the custom table and service ticket generated. we cannot compare the service ticket and from which record it generated?
    2. After using RFC we read the data into CRM custom table. How do we compare both the tables and delete the ECC table as soon as the CRM tables is updated?
    3. when the service ticket failed to generate we should update the field in the custom table (CRM), the number of failures
    Please help me .....Suggest me if there are any other approaches?

    For question 1 look at the attachments in oss note 940882 Frequently Asked Questions about ERMS
    a mailform can be used but is not required.
    For question #2, John Burton wrote an article in CRM expert a few years back that explains this concept well.  The email coming into the agent inbox doesn't create the ticket until processed but his article explains how it can and give and auto repsonse to the sender with the ticket number attached.

    Both the Interaction record as well as the Service ticket created are stored in CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
    If u want the document flow :
    ->Just enter the transaction no in the object_id field in the above table
    ->U will get the guid no.
    ->Now with this guid u can get all the details via FunctionModule: BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_GETDETAILMUL
    ->And to read the document flow you can use function module:
    CRM_DOC_FLOW_READ_DB
    passing the guid obtained from above table.

    First you define the distribution channels like this
    IS-As Institutional sales.
    CS-As Carporate sales.
    IMG>Enterpristructure>Definition>Sales and distribution>Define distribution cahnnel.
    You assign these distribution channels to your sales organisation
    IMG>Enterpristructure>Assignment>Sales and distribution>Assign distribution cahnnel to sales organisation.
    Set up the sales area with new distribution cahnnels
    IMG>Enterpristructure>Assignment>Sales and distribution>Set up sales area.
    Do the pricing procedure determination for the new sales areas
    Now you can do the seperate sale to the Institutional and corporate with the selection of different sales areas while creating sales order.
