Interactive reporting role ---

Hi,
We are having issue in Interactive reporting that , I can not see the job description/information in workspace when my team member schedule the job in workspace.
It is happening with my team member when I schedule a job even though both have same privileges.
We both have roles like " content manager and Schedule Manager ".
What would be the right role to see schedules of the jobs of the each other.
Thanks,
Ganesh

Which version are you using? I know I had a problem in HPS 8.5 and earlier just like you describe. It's entirely possible that this oddity still exists.

Hyperion Interactive Reporting and web analysis is two different things in Hyperion
    Hyperion Interacting Reporting features
    Adcock Analysis
    Drill-Up, Drill-down
    Real time Data
    Dynamic
    Dashboards
    Visual Analysis (Charts)
    Pivot views of data

  • Interactive reports do not execute with Z business role

    Hi all,
We have created interactive reports which are working fine and displaying results with a standard business role. However, the report does not even execute when we use a custom business role - no blank screen no error, but the report does not execute at all.
What could be missing ? Need your inputs please.
    Regards.

Compare the profile value for the function profile id REPORTING_PROF in Z business role with your std business role. To check this go to define business roles> select your ZBusiness role>double click on Assign function profiles.
    Hope this helps!

  • Display interactive report rows based on user role.

    Hello,
Can anyone please help me out with this issue. i have an interactive report and now i want to make this report as conditional based on user role. Like i want to dispaly all the report rows for an Admin user role and for a developer I want the report to display only his/her rows. Can anyone please help me how can I resolve this issue.
Do I need to have two separate reports for each role or can we make achieve this with only one report.
    thanks,
    Orton

Here is a possible answer.. Build your Interactive report off of a collection. And when you build the collection you can build an if statement to either build your select with or without the filtering of user_id..
See this blog entry for how to build a interactive report from a collection: http://www.oracleapplicationexpress.com/tutorials/71-oracle-apex-interactive-report-based-on-plsql-function

  • Interactive Report view is empty

    Hi,
I'm on CRM 7.0 EHP3. I'm encountering empty report criteria and display when open the Campaign effectiveness and all other interactive report page. Please see the screen shot below. There is no error message on the screen, as well as ST22.
I've configured the interactive report and ran the configuration wizard /CRMBW/CONFIG_WIZARD successfully and no error found.
Also the roles SAP_CRM_OR_ADMIN, SAP_CRM_OR_CONFIG and SAP_CRM_OR_USER and SAP_ALL are given to the user in both clients.
Please let me know what could be the causes.
    Thanks in advance.
    cheers,
    julius

Okay, problem seems solved. I don't know if it is a bug or a feature... (: Anyway, this view selects data from threads that had been created from a portal application. And if you create threads from WC_Collaboration server admin console, there's no data will be selected with FORUMCRAWLER_VW view. Sorry, have no time to check SQL query for those DB view, may be this behaviour is reasonable.

  • Error while scheduling a Hyperion Interactive Report

    Hi,
I'm trying to run a scheduled Hyperion Interactive Report (version 9.3.1). The report is scheduled to run for 1st of every month. After the report is scheduled. When a user tries to run the report on demand.

check your discoverer user role using:
    select granted_role from dba_role_privs where grantee=upper('<username>');
from your database. the database to which the desktop is connecting.
check for connect, resouce, multiorg roles.

  • SAP CRM Interactive Reports in Interaction Center

    Hi
I am trying to use SAP CRM Interactive reports. I am aware that we don't need a separate  BW serve for it. Do we need a separate local BI client or can we just use them through the IC_MANAGER Role?
What are the settings to enable interactive reports?
How can I create Interactive reports through the Analytics role?
    All help is greatfully appreciated.
    Thanks

  • How to modify standard or custom Interactive Reports

    Hello everyone!
Is there a possibility to modify SAP standard Interactive Reports? Where can this be done?
Also if I create a new custom Interactive Report using Wizard in WebUI I don't find any transaction where I can modify it. Should I use some SAP GUI transaction to do this? Or even BEX    Analyzer? Perhaps there is SAP Documentation about how to do it but I wasn't able to find it.
Many thanks in advance for any help! Kind regards,
    Sasha

    Sasha
To do this, you need to be logged in with the ANALYTICSPRO business role (standard). Once you access the web UI you will have the option to Search reports. Doing this will show you both the standard reports and the ones modified by you. If you want to modify the SAP delivered reports, select the report, click the Copy button and then rename it etc. You then walk through the wizard and make the changes you need.
You can also modify the ones you created by clicking on Edit.
Once you have created your new reports, go to t-code ordywb, then make sure the Show Custom Reports checkbox is clicked. This will show you the identifier for your custom report - this is what you put against your logical link in the nav bar profile to enable the users to run the reports.
    Hope this helps!

  • Interactive reports grouping issue.

    Hi
I have a few interactive reports.
I need to be able to remove the GROUP BY clause on any field when that field is removed from view by using the Select Fields feature in interactive reports.
    How can this be achieved?
    Regards
    Adam

    Hi!
This is not possible with CRM interactive reporting unless you assign every employee to a manager role in the CRM Org Model (which would contradict it's purpose). Unfortunately, your request would contradict the central authorization principle behind interactive reporting.
Due to this fact and because the expected data volume would also probably be too large to be handled by interactive reporting, I recommend to use BW reporting instead. BW is much better designed for large data volumes, and you do not have the Org Model restrictions as in interactive reporting.

  • Interactive report for Interactions

    Hi all,
Creating a report for Interactions using Analytics_Pro business role. I'm using the Interactions report area and am creating a very basic call coding report.
The AHT (handle time) is however represented in Minutes, which is not quite standard for call centers (we usually use seconds). Is there a config required or do I have to play with the cube and add an extra figure that would represent it in seconds, then expose it, then add it to my report area, then add it to my report? (or whatever other steps required)?
    I'm on CRM 7.0 EHP 2

    Hi Fabien
Interactive Reporting "Cubes" are defined with the expected fields of usage. When building the Interactive Report if the field is not available as standard then some type of enhancement would be required.

  • Empty CSV exports of data from interactive reports.

Currently using version 4.2.1.00.08 of APEX. My application has interactive reports; when I try to export data to CSV file, it is empty. Tried HTML, that just has the control widget for the report. I could swear this used to work. Thanks for any help.

    Hi!
Check that the RFC is set as a trusted connection and it uses the current user for the connection.
Check that you use the same user in RSCUSTV3 as in the source system you have set up in RSA1 for the REP and the BI client.
Check that the user you use for this is configured as follow
    - On the tab Logon data select System as User Type, SUPER as User group and also enter an initial password; use password welcome.
    - On the tab Roles assign the roles SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT and SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_CLIENT (Valid From and Valid to should be left empty). In addition, assign the profiles S_BI-WHM_RFC and S_BI-WX_RFC on the tab Profiles.

  • Displaying an interactive report differently depending on user connected

    Hi,
I have an interactive report on a table which holds server information. This table has a column which is called "Restricted". It has only two possible values (Y or N). It determines whether or not a user has the privileges to view the server password of that server.
We are using database authentication for our APEX 3.2.1 application. We have 2 predefined roles, one with full privileges (Select, Update, Insert, Delete), and one with only Select privileges. When creating a database user account to access our APEX application, one of these 2 predefined roles is assigned to the user.
What i want to accomplish is to display the Server Interactive Report as follows:
If the user has full privileges, then they see the contents of the Password field regardless of the contents of the "Restricted" column (Y or N).
However, if the user only has select privileges, they will not see anything in the Password field if the "Restricted" column is set to Y. Either i will display a Null or a bunch of stars (****). Note: I cannot hide the Password column because i still want to display the password column for those records that have a 'N' in the restricted column.
I know how to create a condition which determines which level of privileges the user has and make the report display stars in the password field (I used a decode statement in the SQL statement generating the report which sets the Password field to **** if Restricted is set to Y). This only takes into account the role assigned to the user. The complicated part is factoring in the condition of wether or not the Restricted column is Y or N so that users with the right privileges will see everything whereas users without the privileges will see null or stars.
This is a major issue we are facing right now.
    Thanks for any suggestions, advice.
    Tim

    Hi Scott,
Thank you very much, I just had not structured my case statement correctly and ommitted that second condition about the user.
    I did this: CASE WHEN "RESTRICTED" = 'Y' and :APP_USER = 'NO_PRIV' THEN '****'
    ELSE ORA_PWD END ORA_PWD, "RESTRICTED"
The report works fine now! :-)

  • Sap CRM Interactive Reporting Managers only see their own Opportunitys

    Hi Sap Community,
I have set up Interactive Reporting as described in the C41 guide, "/CRMBW/CONFIG_WIZARD" shows no Errors and it works fine for normal employees but when I execute a report as a manager, i can only see Opportunitys, where the manager is directly involved, for example as "Employee Responsible" but none of the Opportunitys of the employees in his org unit.
    Thanks for the Help,
    Tom

    Hi Mia,
Authorization group is available in the old versions and basically this help in defining new authorization groups and you can define what can be done with these authorization groups as what can be edited and what cannot be and this is done on SPRO. These authorization groups are entered in the authorization group and the user who has this authorization object will be able to work on the account.
So the business role in CRM 2007 has a PFCG role and the authorization profile that you created are assigned to the business role and users are assigned to the business role.
There are also few authorization objects to maintian the BP relationship and see if you can use these combination to check if it meets your requirement.
Hope it clarifies and if useful please reward points
    Thanks

  • CRM Interactive Reports show only current year data

    Hello,
We have configured CRM Interactive Reports for IC scenario (CRM 2007) and are using reports like 'Service Ticket Volume', 'Service Ticket Closure', etc.
The issue is when we run reports (through IC_Manager business role), they only display data from January 2009 onwards. There is lots of data available in the system for 2008 which we can see from the backend. And we are also selecting date range that includes 2008. But somehow the report only shows tickets from Jan 2009 onwards.
Any clue why this is happening?
    Thanks,

We've resolved this issue so I'm closing this message.
