Internal model vs external model

Hey,
Internal model - the model that reflect the database model (may be hibernate).
External model - the model that expose to the word, like UI and web services.
My question:
How close (in your application) the internal model to the external model?
Dou you have an adapter layer between those two models?
Thank you

I agree with you,so lets complex the situation.
I am the central module , 3 module interact with me for saving data and getting data.
Each module has different data needs.
Do you write union " external model " , which will be based on your internal model (db model) or you write different service for each integration with different "model".That isn't complex enough.
The design of a system intended to handle inventory for walmart is going to require much more thought than for one that handles mom and pops grocery store.
The first might require various north bound interfaces whereas the second absolutely would not. It would be irresponsible to design that into the second and foolhardy not to design it for the first. The requirements of both drive the way that the intermediate layers need to be designed.

I'm trying to install weblogic server, generic installer and am getting the above error. The oracle article that addresses this issue is located at
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/knownissues-096030.html with the text listed below. I'm installing on Windows 7 Professional and have extracted the contents of my zip file to C:\WeblogicServer. When I run -- java -jar C:\WeblogicServer\installler.jar i get the error. I'm using the local hard drive and absolute path. What am I doing wrong? What should I change?
Running the installer from network drives under Windows (7363492)
When launching the installer directly from a network location, you should use a mapped drive instead of a UNC path. If you use a UNC path, you will get a ClassNotFoundException (com.bea.cie.gpr.internal.model.DelegateHomeListHelper).
Performance may be degraded if you change directory to the network drive and invoke the installer using a relative path. For better performance, use a local directory as your current working directory and specify the full path to the installer. For best performance, copy the installer locally before invoking.

    sir,
did you find any solution for your problem,
i had the same problem and can't find any clue for this exception

  • HELP! How do I get rid of the volume noise that plays when I switch from internal speakers to external speakers?

How do I get rid of the volume noise that plays when I switch from internal speakers to external speakers? I'm trying to watch something on my TV through an HDMi cable (& apple adapter) and when I go to switch the sound control in preferences from internal speakers to SONY TV, the annoying "popping" noise occurs on my TV's speakers.

Go to Edit > Preferences > General > Import Settings and check the box for error correction, and then try one of the problem CDs again.

  • Extracting Internal ID vs External ID for Products

    Hi,
We want to upload Price List for Products on Cloud. We have integrated our Cloud with our onpremise CRM system and downloaded all the products from CRM to Cloud. But the Internal numbers assigned on Cloud for Products do not match to that in our on premise.
As we understand, there is a template to upload Price List directly on Cloud. But Cloud expects Internal ID for these products. We have around 10,000 Products and it is not possible to do manually one by one.
Like we have the feature for Accounts/contacts to export all of them into Excel, we are missing this for Products. Also, ID Mapping doesn't have any feature to export them to excel.
Has anyone had a similar problem? What are the options we have to get the Internal ID vs External ID combination for Products?
    Thanks,
    Siva.

    Hi Siva
Here is what you need to do:
How to get the same material numbers between ERP and C4C
You have to map the ERP MATNR to the ReceiverInternalID field in the C4C material service in addition to putting it into the SenderInternalID.
You have to fill up leading zeros up to 40 characters if the material id is purely numeric. On PI you can do a Java extension for this. On HCI this is hopefully possible with the given string functions.

  • How to differentiate an internal from an external candidate in E-recruiting

    Hi experts,
I need your help. I'm creating a Z report to show the % of internal and external candidates who were hired or choosen in a selection process. I will have two columns the first one will show the internal candidates and the second one the external candidates. I'll also display the reasons why a candidate were reproved on the selection, for this reason I also have to separate internal from external candidates.
I've seem some threads where you say that the best way is to find the relation NA<CP<P. Is this the only way or there is any other way as a module function where I put NA and it show me if it's an internal or external candidate.
    I'll really appreciate any help!
    Best regards,
    Thais

    Hello Thais,
reportig in SAP E-Recruiting is quite difficult due to the missing historization in some infotypes. A lot of changes are not historized so it is not possible to get any other valid information than the current status. Looking back into the past is in the best case unsure in the worst impossible. External candidates become internal candidates on hiring and internal candidates become external candidates on termination, maternity leave, ....
It is very difficult to get the percentage of external und internal hirings based on e-recruiting data. It is much easier to get this from the HR core as (at least in a perfect world) you just count hiring actions and org. change actions. Of course not every org. change is usually an "internal hiring" in e-recruiting.
If you want to get these numbers purely from e-recruiting data, the best approach from my experience is getting the candidacies in hired status -> get the application for the candidacy -> get the publication for the application -> get the publication channel candidate type. This information is not changing over the time and not depending on the candidate. Restrictions of this approach are usually direct assignments from talent pool, if internal and external candidates can release their profile. If you do not request an application for the candidacy you can not determine the candidate type. Furthermore in many organizations the e-recruiting process ends with hiring the cadidate. Noone maintains rejections for the no shows so you get too many hirings from the e-recruting data. But perhaps this approach works in your scenario.
    Kind Regards
PS: The method mentioned above works fine to find out if a candidate is currently an internal or external candidate. Unfortunately these methods are often to slow for mass use in reporting. So from a performance point of view reading HRP1001 relations and HRP5102 INACTIVE flag is the better solution.

  • Converting QuickSilver G4 internal HD to External  with multiply users

Was using a PC MAc G4 QS as a server loaded up the extra slots with internals ran it thru a small ethernet hub Worked pretty well until a couple of days the original HD with operating system is shot. G4 owes me nothing served me well But it would save me alot of production time relinking if I could get the secondary internal into an external multi user set up
    Any recomendations.

I think you'll need to use the select, drag, drop, verify and delete method of moving files from your internal HD to the external HD.
If you intend to move your Photo Library to the EHD be sure it's formatted OS X Extended (journaled) with ownership set to be ignored.

    hi
    SAP Internal format : YYYYMMDD.
If u load the date fields in this format,SAP changes this field into User reqired format as
    MMDDYYYY
    DDMMYYYY.
    DD.MM.YYYY
    DD/MM/YYYY
    These setting are user specific.

  • Difference between Internal HU and External HU

    Hi guys,
I am quite new to WM, can you please tell me Difference between Internal HU and External HU

The HU information is stored in table VEKP (header) and VEPO (item). In the header table you can find Internal HU No (VENUM). This is the internal SAP number automatically assigned as the table key each time you create an HU. However, the HU aslo has an external number (EXIDV) which is the number of the HU that is used when marking the HU. This number allows for a longer ID than the internal number if you want to use.
Here is the documentation for EXIDV.
    Short Text
    External Handling Unit Identification
    Definition
Specifies an external identifier for the handling unit.
    Use
The system automatically generates an internal number that must be unique for each system client. The system also needs external identification so that it can uniquely identify handling units.
    1. Creating a handling unit:
Identifiers for handling units are determined during creation according to settings in Customizing for number assignment of the packaging material type for the packaging material that is being used. You can also assign default values for identifiers when you create handling units, although these values must correspond to the settings in Customizing.
    2. Processing a handling unit
To edit existing handling units, enter the handling unit's identification in this field.

I think for internal processing the procurement indicator willbe 140 (when PR is not required) & for external processing the procurement indicator willbe 130 (when PR is required)

  • What is Internal IO and External IO?

What is Internal IO and External IO?

    Hi SeshuGiri,
an Internal IO represents the data in your internal siebel structure with BO and BC's. If you are developing an integration workflow which exports siebel data into an xml file,
the external io describes the structure of your xml. This can be the same like your internal, but often you have to use the xml tags and structur of your external system. This can be specified
in your external IO. You just have to use the eai data maper to convert your internal io into your external io. I hope this helps you so far.

  • Can I use an internal drive or external only?

It seems you need a very large (1TB) drive dedicated to Time Machine.
As internal storage is always cheaper, would an internal non-boot drive in the additional PCI slot work for Time Machine, specifically will it see an internal drive or only external firewire drives?
And as I've read in other posts it's not recommended to partition the drive?
    Any other formatting suggestions?
    Thanks!

You have four drive bays in the computer. For best speed for backup you should install the backup drive in one of your four bays if possible. If that isn't possible then you have the option to use an external FireWire drive. You also have two additional internal SATA connectors. However, you only have one extra bay, the one for the second optical drive. You can install a drive in the spare optical drive bay and connect it to the same ribbon as the optical drive unless you have one of the models that uses all SATA drives, even the optical drive.
The general requirements for a TM drive are that it be partitioned using GUID and formatted Mac OS Extended, Journaled. A TM drive should be at least twice the capacity of the drive or drives it will back up. Over time a TM backup drive will fill up at which time it is either replaced or erased.

  • Internal vs. External Display Resolution

    Hi,
I just purchased a KVM switch by IO Gear Model GCS1782. Hooked up my Mac Book Pro 15 inch 2.16 Ghz with DVI Dual Link and Mac Mini Power PC with DVI single link.
The KVM is working perfectly. The Mac Mini Display resolution is 1680x1050 as normal. The MBP Color LCD is 1440x900 as normal.
Question: Why does the display on the internal display of the MBP look crisper than the Cinema Display? The CD looks like a lo res VGA monitor.

Okay everybody...something funny happened this morning.
Last night I put my MBP to sleep by using "Insomnia" and woke it up this morning and to my surprise, the resolution is matched. No more fuzziness. I have the display icon on the title bar which shows the only one display, only the ACD at 1680x1050. Yesterday it showed two displays because I was mirroring.
Yesterday morning I hooked up a new KVM (I/O Gear Model GCS1782) and discovered video display problems (not from the KVM). From 10:30 AM to 2:45 PM I called IO Gear support, Apple Sale Support (x2), Apple Technical Support (x2), and continuously scoured these forum reading and posting.
    Yesterday:
    1. Could not close lid of MBP because ACD would go black. (Solution: Insomnia)
    2. Could not get MBP LCD display be crisp on the external ACD (Solution: Insomnia)
    3. Mirrored the MBP causing the ACD to use a lower resolution (Solution: Insomnia)
    Today, all is well.
I think it had to do with the MBP sleep mode or ????. I am not positive on what exactly happened to get the max resolution. I am just a wee bit concerned that it will happen again because I have to disconnect the MBP tomorrow and reconnect without the confidence I can get it to work. One thing for sure, I won't mirror any longer.
    Lessons Learned:
    1. No one person is proficient with using external displays on MBP. The pieces of information that I needed were either scattered and fragmented or just not available.
    2. The people at Apple is nice, helpful, and well meaning. But this particular situation revealed a lack of technical cohesion in its communication.
I want to thank all the good people who help me along this journey.

  • Making the internal drive and external drive

My G5 died last week and I got a new macbook pro. I just got an external closure for the internal hard drives. Can The same be done for the burner. I upgraded the burner last year and it is very nice. Please let me know if this is possible and what some good options would be.

    Hi-
Yes, an optical drive can also be placed into an external housing like this one.
Or, save money with a refurb model.
