Internet not working for a current time!!!!!!

My Interenet has been going out at the same time every night around 11pm -12am. I also have phone service through comcast which also obviously goes out. It does not come back on for hours. I work from home and teach classes on the internet. This is REALLY a problem. I have called numerous times in the past months and had a tech come out with no solution. I try to send a refresh and it ALWAYS fails. It has even failed when the Customer Service Rep assists. I am thinking about replacing the box. If this does not help I will change my service. I have had Comcast in a different city in the past and never had these issues. FYI: My Cable TV always works fine.

Review the troubleshooting tips at this sticky and post the downstream power levels, downstream SNR and upstream power levels on all channels. Before you replace the gateway, the signals need to be confirmed that they are in spec.

Phone not working for the 5th time

I am so happy with my fios service. Now for the 5th time our phone does not work. We regularly cant recive calls, and sometimes cant call out. Each time we call (with cell) they say nothing is wrong and will send a tech out days later and an hour before the tech is supposed to show up, it suddenly starts working again. A week later it stops working, and we go through the same ordeal. I wonder who they cut off, whent hey turn ours on, and who gets service when they cut ours off. Its like they play musical chairs with our phone service. Sometimes we get incomming calls, sometimes outgoing, but hardly ever both. **bleep**? Oh, and to top it all off,t his week, Verizon Wireless also assigned my wifes account/phone number to someone elses contract. She has had the number for over 10 years, I just bought her a new iPhone (full price $900) and when we went the store a man by the name of Carlos told us to pound sand. He had given the line to someone else and the only way he would fix it is if we returned the phone we bought from Verizon online, and bought a phone in his store!!! Can you believe it. Carlos would not give her line back unless she bought a phone in his store.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Internet not working for limited accounts ....

My sister is a 30 year employee of "Big Blue". She recently purchased an iMac for her kids, and called me in a tizzy last night. We solved a number of small misconceptions, however, there is one major issue, I can't quite figure out.
She was having extremely slow internet speed. Compared settings etc to her PC's, and all was correctly setup. It sounded like a DNS timeout issue, and I found this link: http://technocrat.net/d/2008/8/23/48134
which indeed solved her slowness problem.
However, what's very strange, and I can't seem to find any solution online is that she made the internet settings changes to use the OpenDNS servers in her privileged account. Now, when she logs out, and logs back in into one of her children's accounts, there is no internet connectivity at all.
Safari immediately comes up with a a "server not found" error. Instantaneously.
Checking the network panel, all the settings made in her admin account are still set.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the response.
Actually the OpenDNS settings carried through, we did verify them in the Network panel, although we specifically did not attempt to re-enter the values, as they were in place.
Prior to the change to OpenDNS in the admin account, all accounts worked, although all of them worked slowly. I would have expected that if it were a matter of the settings not carrying over, that the other accounts would have continued to work, albeit slowly. Instead these accounts have stopped working completely.
I will, however, have my sister double check, and re-enter those values.

Tap on the event to open the event. Click the 'Edit' button in the event bubble, then press the 'Delete Event' button at the bottom of the Edit pop-up. It's a little different for events that come through Microsoft Exchange, you tap the event to bring up bubble and click the 'Details' button, and then press 'Decline' to remove the event.

Without proper system information and other details like what files you work with nobody can tell you much. From corrupted prefs to issues with your PS swap file to actual problems with the fiel storage this could be anything.

If you have the chance stop by an Apple Retail store and talk to them about it...they often work deals for replacement of out of warranty non-working items for prices around half price. Won't hurt to stop by and see what they will do for you.

The warranty is only good in the U.S.
You woulod have to send it to someone in the U.S. They could take it in and if it is defective, then it would be replaced.

How can I get a digital WDT that includes all samples, not just the one for the current time step...?

Hey westerman111,
If you're looking to produce have your display include the solution information from previous solver steps, you will need to buffer the previous data. The way to implement this in a Control Design & Simulation Loop is using the Memory.vi found under Control Design & Simulation > Simulation > Utilities > Memory.vi. It will allow you to save previous information generated in the simulation environment for letter solution steps.
I've attached an example that should get you started in using the Memory.vi.
I would also make sure that what you're looking to accomplish is suitable for the Control & Simulation Loop. I know you mentioned you were new to LabVIEW so I wanted to make sure you were heading off in the right direction. Is there a particular reason why you are using the Control & Simulation Loop instead of a standard While or For Loop? The Control Design & Simulation loop is unique in that it calculates the solution of a dynamic system at a prescribed time step and ODE solver. It also provides the tools to interact with the model you are solving during execution. However, if you are simply looking to perform data acquisition and measurements (instead of dynamic model simulation) I would recommend using standard LabVIEW functions.
Here are some useful references for getting start with both LabVIEW and the Control Design and Simulation Module.

Out of office replies in Exchange 2013 not working for external recipients

Few days ago a couple of company workers went to vacation. They set up OOF automatic replies in OWA 2013. However automatic replies are not working for external recipients (outside of company). Internal users (company users) receive OOF notification.
I'm using smart host in sender connector configuration (SMTP server of internet provider) to deliver emails. Any clues about this problem ? Please find below part of the transaction log. For testing purposes i set up administrator account

In Exchange 2013, the only way to see or change the current configuration for automatic replying and forwarding to the Internet is via the Exchange Management Shell (EMS) with PowerShell commands.
To get the currently configured Remote Domains, use:

CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls

Hi,
I've a strange issue where CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls, it shows INTERNATIONAL UNKNOWN NUMBER in the phone display, but the number shows correclty in Verizon Call assistant !!!
Any clue?

You didn't mention what country your Online Number is in. Not all of Skype's Online Numbers are eligible for use as Caller ID when calling telephones or sending SMS messages. If your number is from one of these countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), then it can be used this way. Otherwise, you can use a mobile number from countries other than Japan or Mexico as Caller ID with Skype, after the number goes through a verification process where Skype sends SMS messages with codes to that number.
To get to these settings, log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site using the "Account" link at the top of this page. You'll see a screen that would include your current Caller ID settings, and a link to change that. If your Online Number is from one of those countries I referenced above, just select it and you're done.
