Internet Sales 4.0 Application  question

Can anybody help me with passing data via an extension from my SAP shop to my ISA 4.0 SAP R/3 application.
I can store and retreive data in my JAVA basket extension at my webshop side. Now i need to pass this data (extra field in the sales order) to SAP via an ExtensionIn structure in function module SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE. Is this working automatiqly or do I have to change some settings in some xml files?
Kind regards, Rene

Hi,
You have to extend the standard "LoginAction" class. There is 2 different LoginAction class one for B2B and one for B2C.
In extended LoginAction class you can retrieve extra parameter from HttpServletRequest object. After retrieving extra parameter in extended LoginAction class you can play with that extra parameter as per your business requirement.
Also you have to modified BOI interface and implementation if Business Requirement needs.
Pl. Read Extension guide how to extend Standard Action  class. you will have a clear idea. There is one example for extra parameter for order page. You can then follow the same procedure for your Login page.
I hope it will help you.

  • Error while deploying Internet Sales B2B Web- Application for CRM 7.0

    Hi,

Could any one please help me in solving this?

    Hi,
It seems that you have not deploy Java Dictionary Component. It is required component on machine where you want to deploy ISA. It stores your XCM related setting and value.
First deploy SAPCRMDICxxxxxxx.SCA file then define default application scenario in your /b2b/admin/xcm/init.do. Restart your B2B application and then trr to access it.
If you are trying to access custom ISA application you have to set application scenario for it. /b2bxxx/admin/xcm/init.do
First deploy SAPCRMDIC component SCA file you can get it from Service market place or you can ask your SAP  Basis person.

  • Internet Sales 4.0 (R/3 Edition) & ECC 6.0

I have a fully functioning ISA 4.0 app connected to an R/3 4.6C backend. The setup is working perfectly and has for several months. Our company is upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
We have a test SBX, running ECC 6.0, setup for testing. I am having major issues getting my Internet Sales 4.0 application to work. The first issue has to do with logging in (I should note that the SBX is a copy of our 4.6C PRD server).
All I have simply done so far is change, in the XCM config (b2b, trexr3, shop), the Jco host, from the 4.6C server to the new ECC 6.0 SBX. When I attempt to login, via the ISA login page, my password is not validated and I get a "user administration" error.
I have verified that the account in question is valid, not locked, and I am using the correct password.
What is really irritating is that when I put a trace on the login process, the log really doesn't show me anything of value (a Java trace, for lack of a better description). There is no "error" or "exception" in the log.
To further test, I removed all customizations made to the ISA and deployed a standard ISA B2B.ear file (SP9, I believe), but no luck.
I can repoint the Jco to any other of my 4.6C servers and the ISA site (login) works perfect. No other adjustments need to be made.
I guess my questions is, is there anything additional I need to do in order to connect ISA R/3 edition to an ECC 6.0 backend besides just changing the JCo connector?? I've search quite a bit at the Marketplace, looked for SAP Notes, Googled for hours...no luck.
Forgot to mention that when I run the "JCo Ping" tests from the various XCM web pages, the results are "green", so I can definately "see" the new ECC 6.0 server.
One last thing, assume my account name and password are both "bryan"...well, if I put "bryan" in the username field and "john" in the password field, and click the "Change Password" button, I am told that my password is incorrrect (interesting)...so, I'm thinking there must be communication going on. If I put the correct password and correct username, then click the "Change Password" button, I get the "user administration" error.
    Thanks for any feedback!!

    Hello,
We are using ISA 4.0 SP9 too for R/3.  for upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6.0 you must do nothing..it works than before..only change JCo.
For 4.7 you need a plugin... its called:
    - R/3 Plug-In (PI) 2004.1 for R/3 Enterprise

    3)Internet sales
    4)Sales
In this 4 parts you get 40 questions will be from internet sales,Sales 10,Fundamentals-12 and rest 18 you will be getting it from Base customising..but there might be bits and pieces of changes in the pattern.I cannot gurantee you that similar pattern will be followed. But internet sales you get 40 question in that particularly concentrate on Product catalog it is very very important.Dont spend much time in Middleware and IPC.But go through all the materials as much as you can and line by line get the basics right. But the examinations questions will be tricky and tough so read the questions properly and understand it before you answer it.I wish you ALL THE BEST!!!..If you got anymore doubts feel free to ask me am happy to bail you out.

  • New to Internet Sales for ERP - Few basic questions.

    Hi,
We are going to implement Internet Sales for ERP and I have some questions.
    1) Is Product Catalog Mandatory for implementing Internet Sales for ERP / R3?
    2) We are already using MDM for catalog and we are not the Product Catalog module in R3. Will there be a problem implementing MDM into ISA? Has anyone implemented ISA with MDM as product catalog?
    3) We are planning to make it an extra-net application; what is the best architecture placement of the ISA server? Should we have it in DMZ or outside DMZ. What is the best approach among option a and b?
    a) Web Browser (Internet) -- External Firewall -- Webserver + ISA server -- Internal Firewall -- ERP
    b) Web Browser (Internet) -- External Firewall -- Webserver -- Internal Firewall -- ISA server + ERP
    Please Enlighten.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

    Hello Deepak,
    1) Is Product Catalog Mandatory for implementing Internet Sales for ERP / R3?
Catalog is an independent piece of feature and integrated to the basket (or the selling process). You can hide the internal catalog by a switch in the Shopadmin XCM administration - Catalog tab._But_ you may still need a catalog (internal) for reading variant data. However, no replication is required.
    2) We are already using MDM for catalog and we are not the Product Catalog module in R3. Will there be a problem implementing MDM into ISA? Has anyone implemented ISA with MDM as product catalog?
ISA works with external catalogs with ease. All you need is to make use of the Open catalog Interface (OCI) feature. After all, OCI is a SAP technology, and all its products must be capable of understanding it. Isn't it? SAP MDM catalog is OCI enabled.
    (b)
    Please Enlighten.

  • CRM Survey in B2C Internet Sales Application

We have CRM 2007 and are live with B2C Internet Sales Application (ISA). Now we want to make Customer Surveys accessible via B2C ISA.
For security reasons, we do not want our B2C Internet Customers to have access to the CRM system. Therefore the BSP option is ruled out. I have seen some blogs on how to enhance security for BSP option but that is also not approved in our organization so BSP option is totally ruled out.
    SAP help documenation mentions following:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/ee/eaf995082649c6a594511e1f48672d/frameset.htm
    Internet Scenarios
Since Internet users cannot be allowed access to the CRM system for security reasons, surveys have to be made accessible in a different way. You can do this by downloading the required HTML survey to your PC. From here, you can:
Copy the HTML survey into any Web site
Send the HTML survey attached to an e-mail
    Internet Scenarios
In Internet scenarios, results can be returned by the following methods:
    Mailto
In this case, a mail client, for example, Microsoft Outlook, needs to be set up in advance on the client machine. Survey results are sent to a CRM Server Mail User, that is, a u201Cmachineu201D user. From here, the results are routed to the CRM system for further processing.
    http(s)
    Note
The http(s) case is recommended, because the user does not have to have a personal e-mail account. Here, the survey results are first sent to a Survey Mailer. The Survey Mailer receives the http request and then mails the results to the CRM Server Mail User, where they can be processed. The Survey Mailer needs to be set up by the administrator at the customer.
For presenting the Survey on ISA, we would like to take the option of Copy the HTML survey into any Web site as suggested in SAP help and would like to get back the results as per SAP help recommendation of https(s) above.
    We need guidance on follwing
    1. How to download and then copy the HTML surveys into any website (ISA)
    2. Detailed steps that are needed for gettting back the survey results.
By the way...we do understand the survey functionality and have been successful in testing the BSP option so we are not looking for general information.
    Thanks
    Vijay

    Hello Vijay,
Could you please share the information on solution steps used as per the requirement??
I'm working on the similar one.
Your earliest response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Vijay.

  • Internet Sales application 2007 - Best Practice

    Hi Gurus
Has anyone completed a successful CRM 2007 Internet Sales (ISA not ICSS) configuration exercise.
If anyone has completed the set-up please could you inform me of the documents you referenced in order to achieve this.
    Many Thanks
    Babu.

SAP has confirmed to me that there is NOT a CRM6/7 ISA Best Practices guide.
We used the C14_BB_ConfigGuide from our CRM4 Best Practices install and made some assumptions on what had changed.  I do not think this is still available here and am not sure if I am able to send it to anyone.  Someone from SAP or an Admin can tell us.
I also found here the following docs that have bits and pieces of the puzzle.
ECO_Authorizations.CRM5.0  - I think I found this on Sateesh's site, but probably a link around here for it. - CRM E-Commerce Authorizations

  • CRM 5.0, e-Commerce 5.0, e-Selling (Internet Sales)

    Dear all,
we are currently facing problems getting the e-Selling (Internet Sales) application to work. Unfortunately none of my colleagues and I have worked with these applications.
    We are using:
    - NetWeaver EP 7.0 Portal Level 12
    - SAP CRM 5.0 with BBPCRM 5 Level 10
    We have deployed:
    - Business Package for SAP CRM 5.0
    - Business Package for High Tech Channel Management 5.0
Shouldn't the e-Selling (former Internet Sales) application already be there as default within the e-Commerce 5.0?
And isn´t the e-Commerce 5.0 included in the SAP CRM 5.0 as default?
Is there any special package that must be deployed to the SAP CRM 5.0 or EP 7.0 Portal? Except "SAP e-Commerce for SAP R/3" and the "Internet Sales" packages because they must be obsolete for our systems i guess.
    Lots of questions....
Thank you very much for your help & Best regards

Q   Shouldn't the e-Selling (former Internet Sales) application already be there as default  within the e-Commerce 5.0?
Answer:  NO.  there is no e-Selling default application.
    Please do the following:
1)You have to download the right application from the service.sap.com and then deploy the default application to the WAS ( you can maybe use the same Portal WAS).
2)further you need to configure the ISA application( B2B or B2C) using the XCM
3)setup a shop. install and configure TREX. Create a Product catalog and replicate it to TREX.
    4) Make design decision on UME/Single Sign-on etc etc
    5) ALL the above steps assumes that a Transaction type which you need to use in ISA scenario is already in place
    6) Further IPC relevant stuff needs to be done depending on what kind of prices you want to display.
these are the most basic things which you NEED to do.

  • Internet Sales R/3 remote debugging

    Hi,
Can anybody tell me, how to remote debugg a Internet Sales Application? I've read some lines in the Development and Extension Guide, but this is not a lot.
I don't understand how do debug a classfile. Because normaly the classfile will be compiled and deployed on the SAP J2EE. Is it possible to debugg this class with the remote debugging function of Eclipse?
    Thank u for every answer,
    regards Thomas

What is the solution for remote debugging, can you share.
Also, I have question regarding JSP page. How can I display name of jsp page on the browser for internet sales application. I know there is some variable like showmodulename to be set to true. I want to know how to use it. I tried but could not make it to work.
    Thanks

  • Internet Sales: Flexible Pricing?

My client decided a couple of years ago to build a simple E-commerce application using MS commerce server connecting to SAP via IBM middleware. The system is live but now we are rolling out to various countries. As you can imagine each country has different pricing and have requested different layouts for pricing information (after the order is simulated through SAP BAPI's). This means we either need different screens for each country or try and get all countries to agree the same format (difficult) - We are now looking at Internet Sales (R/3) as a solution - the question is can it handle different Order Review screens per country showing different layouts for the pricing information ?

    Hi
Here's a potential solution you could use, which would only involve changes in the presentation layer.
This would only require some very simple HTML + CSS, plus a bit of analysis on which countries need which pricing elements (which you have already done, I think).
Internet Sales provides for different 'themes' so that you can setup different color schemes etc using CSS. Theme can be part of the URL, or set in the XCM.
See the Internet Sales Dev + Extension Guide (search for 'theme').
So, you can serve up different style sheets for each country. This is easy, but how does that help?
If you then have a pricing layout that shows all information, but you put a different class on each element, then you can hide different elements depending on the style sheet.
EG in your pricing layout you have some HTML like this:
    <tr class="europe">pricing</tr>
    <tr class="italy">pricing</tr>
    <tr class="finland">more pricing</tr>
(this would be generated by the JSP depending on the condition type)
In the Italian stylesheet you have:
    .finland
In the Finnish stylesheet you have:
    .italy
Future adjustments would only need CSS changes, which are cheap.
    Cheers

  • Uninstall a Internet Sales B2C project

    Hi !
Would anyone know how to uninstall a CRM Internet Sales project ? For example a 'sandpit' type B2C project. Is it using the Buildtool ? Where can I find information regarding this ?
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

    Hi Tiest,
We created an extension project of the SAP standard B2C Internet Sales application using the buildtool and deployed the extension project using the Software Deployment Manager (SDM). We also created a 'Sandpit' extension project which we now want to re-initialize it to the SAP standard. So my question is how do we uninstall the extension project ? The SDM just deploys the delta difference between the just earlier deployed extension project.
Does that answer your question ?
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Internet sales or by EP?

    Hi everybody,
Could anybody tell me the difference between the Internet sales by standard function of CRM and ISA by EP?
I mean if I want to build the webshop(IE),can I only use standard module of CRM5.0 without enterprise protal? If it's possible, why EP? any difference?
    Best regards!

    Curry
Difference Bet ISA by CRM and ISA by EP:
ISA is the Internet based Application given by SAP CRM.
EP is the NetWeaver Application given by SAP. It does not any link with ISA  !
YES! You can access ISA directly on the IE and do not need a Portal !
Portal is used to provide unified access to different applications(link ISA,etc) on the Internet !  Instead of accessing different applications on a separate IEs, Portal provides an easy mechanism of accessing the different applications when you login into the Portal(for Example : Single Sign On).
Please find more Portal details <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/a4/76bd3b57743b09e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm">here</a>
More precisely portal offers a single point of access to SAP and non-SAP information sources, enterprise applications, information repositories, databases and services in and outside your organization—all integrated into a single user experience. It provides you the tools to manage and analyze this knowledge, and to share and collaborate on the basis of it.
I hope this answers your questions!
    Thanks

  • Modification of existent jsp Internet Sales

    Hello,
I'm a newbie on Internet Sales and i'm experiencing problems modifying existent jsps of the web catalog. The question is quite simple. Is there any step to do after modifying a jsp? restart anything? specify the changes anywhere?. If i want to use a new class written do i have to do something to use it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello tricontrol tricontrol,
As far as JSP changes are concern you do not have to restart any thing. Just build your application and deploy it. One important thing is that clear the cookies and temporary fiels of your browser and then check your application you should be able to see the changes. If you need ISA extension guide give me you mail id.
    <b>Reward points if it helps!!</b>
