Interpreting show controllers ingressq capacity

anyone enlighten me how i can interpret these values, i need to analyze any bottleneck on the CRS-3 8-10GbE slot.
Following command is on the fabric managment documenation but no clear explanation on these values :

Further if anyone point me some documention related to troubleshooting packet drops / PSE / Queue managment .
Thanks in Advance,
Gobinath.

Hi Gobinath,
This is not a command to worry yourself with. You also do not need to worry about the fabric queues. The only thing you should concern youself with is if the fabric is working and if/where drops are occuring.
Troubleshooting is pretty simple. Check for config and port level issues along with total fabric health and statistics. Next look at the port level to look for ingress drops, go to the ingressQ, S1, S2, S3 fabric ASICs (Rx and Tx), fabricQ, and finally the egress port.
I am not sure what new documentation is on CCO but here is a rough idea as well as some of the general fabric commands. There are many more commands, and it is possible to track drops all the way through the fabric with some time and patience. Some drops are ok, note the large input/output amounts of good packets, and not all drops means packets are being dropped.

  • Ipod Touch showing incorrect storage capacity

I have an Ipod Touch 64 GB 5th Gen running iOS 8.2. I'm not certain when this issue occurred initially from the devices perspective - only when I first noticed it. The device was running 8.1.1.3 at the time. I was working with it in Itunes and clicked on the iPods summary screen to check for the iOS 8.2 update. I noticed the capacity of the device was showing as 56.62 GB. Available space was 43.19. The little memory symbol for the Ipod shows 64 GB. I was troubled by the capacity message. Ran Itunes diagnostics:

No help there. I ran the Update to iOS 8.2. Succesful. Still same capacity. Checked the iPod's Gerneral/About screen - Capacity listed 56.6 GB.
Have I lost access to 8 GB of capacity here? Should I reset the thing?
    Message was edited by: meteoricide
Total of Audio, Video and App Data is 14.12 GB.  Available shows 43.19 GB. That adds up to 57.31.GB. So there is a 700 K discrepancy. Total Photo Data happens to be 700 K. Just saying.

You only have 56.6 GB available to you. The difference between that and the 64 GB advertised capacity is taken up by:
The operating system since you can't use that for storage
and how GB is advertised and used/reported by the operating system. See:
How OS X and iOS report storage capacity - Apple Support
The update did not change anything except likely reducing the capacity by 10 or so MB since update typically add things and thus takes more storage for the operating system

  • HT4863 iCloud Mail is showing incorrect storage capacity

My Mailbox is currently showing 3.1 GB capacity, and is causing huge trouble in my iCloud backup and operations in several of my iDevices including my mac.
When I open my iCloud account, I've ensured I deleted majority all of my previous email and is left with less than 1 MB worth of emails. I've also emptied my trash bin and cleared both Junk Folder and Sent Items.
Even after all the clean-up the email capacity never moved and remained the same?
    Is there a bug?
Can I just delete this email account in iCloud and re-create it to avoid this HUGE 3.1 GB it is misreporting?

  • Most of my music library disappeared upon upgrading iTunes; it shows on the capacity bar but not in the iphone

How do I restore music, audiobooks and podcasts to my iTunes?  only 2 albums remain, 2 songs, 2 artists, no books, no podcasts.  and yet the capacity bar shows that all the music is still there.  and they are all still on my computer.  repeated attempts to sync individual categories (music, audiobooks, podcasts) have not worked.  Please advise!  many thanks in advace.

    Hello davej65,
Unfortunately adding music from external drives should not be possible, because it is not supported.

  • 30gb video ipod showing incorrect storage capacity

    Hi,
I have a 30gb ipod. When I connect the ipod & open itunes or ipod updater, the ipod appears with an incorrect storage capacity.
The updater shows all other information correctly, except for Capacity, which shows at 65.0GB
With nothing on the ipod, Itunes shows used: 4.49GB, free: 58.99GB. If I try to transfer any files I get a message saying that there is not enough free space to transfer the files.
I have restored to factory settings, re-installing all software, changing usb ports etc but nothing seems to have helped...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Matt.

  • IPhone showing as over capacity when it isn't

When syncing iPhone 4, the "capacity" bar in iTunes show's as over capacity, it gruntas and graons for 5 or more minutes, then suddenly drops down to normal (meaning it was NOT over capcity), then it syncs normally. How can I get this to stop. Everything is updated to current.

The capacity bar will often change during syncing.  Apps commonly need space equal to twice their size or more during installation.  If the phone is actually over capacity, iTunes will present a message saying how much space must be freed to complete the sync.

  • Photos show in itunes capacity used but not on phone or in sync

i updated my wifes iphone 3g to ios4 and it only shows 10 photos on he iphone but when it is connected to itunes in the cappacity bar it shows ther a 576 photos how can i make it so i can see them again .. i have tryed syncing them and restoring the backup and restoring the phone and it still shows them as used capacity but i still can,t see them

Is Sync Photos selected under the Photos tab for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes along with folder of photos selected to be transferred from the computer to the iPhone?
If so, these photos are not included with the iPhone's backup. Photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup and although included, photos in the Camera Roll should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
Are these photos that are or were in the iPhone's Camera Roll or that were transferred from the computer to the iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process?
If the latter, try deselecting Sync Photos under the Photos tab for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync. This will remove all photos from the iPhone that were transferred from the computer. Follow this be reselecting Sync Photos and selecting the folder of photos to be transferred to the iPhone followed by a sync.
If these are photos in the Camera Roll, have any of these photos been imported by the computer? If not, try importing these photos with your computer.

  • Interpreting show tfo connection summary output

In the output from the 'show tfo connection summary output' command there are 3 sections :
    - Optimized Connection List
    - Auto-Discovery Connection List
    - Pass-Through Connections
The 'Pass-Through Connections' section is fairly self-evident, but what is the difference between entries in the 'Auto-Discovery Connection List' and the 'Optimized Connection List' sections ?
Also, I have some output that I am having difficulty interpreting :
    Auto-Discovery Connection List
    E: Established, S: Syn, A: Ack, F: Fin, R: Reset
    s: sent, r: received, O: Options, P: Passthrough

10.250.195.7:443 10.250.216.5:27655 Ext. Server SAsO SAr
What are do the 'Int. Server' and 'Ext. Server' types mean under the column 'Conn-Type' ?
    What are 'Orig-st' and 'Term-st'abbreviations for ? Original state/terminated state ??
Finally, what does the UNU under the Term-st column mean ?
Apologies for the many questions, but I can't find any answers in the Cisco config or command ref guides...
    Thanks
    Nigel.
    Thanks
    Nigel.

    Nigel,
The optimized connection list shows connections that are established and being optimized. The auto-discovery connection list shows connections that are still in the auto-discovery phase (i.e. the 3-way setup handshake has not completed).
The designation 'Int. Server' or 'Ext. Server' indicates whether the connection is sourced/destined from/to an internal process (such as WAFS, telnet, etc.) or an external host.
'Orig-st' and 'Term-st' are as you described them.
    UNU = unknown.

    manatsu,
You can also make an appointment with the Genius Bar in advance. Either by calling AppleCare, or by going online and selecting your store at http://www.apple.com/retail/
If you go into the store, they will sign you up for an available appointment, and if there is not any available appointments put you on a list to wait for appointments that are no shows.
You can make an appointment in advance, and should be seen at that time without having to wait 30 minutes within the store.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Resource still showing Product in Capacity view even when the PDS is deleted

    Hello,
I have a Material which had 2 PDSes sometime back. PDS1 has Resource1 and PDS2 has Resource 2. Some time back PDS2 was deleted(version also deleted from ECC). So, now the Material has only one source of Supply PDS1(with Resource 1). There are no open orders of the past which were on PDS2 or say, resource 2. So basically Resource 2 should now have no connection with Material.
However, when I load Resource 2 in Capacity View and drill down at Product Level, I can still see the said Material in the list with other materials(for which Resource 2 is still valid). Not sure why the Material would now appear there. Also, when i try to create any order for this material in Capacity view for resource 2, it says- No valid PDS/PPM available-which is fine, but why would the material appear there in the first place?
This is happening for many other materials as well.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Kunal

    Hi Cyrille..
Thanks for the reply! You are bang on..
The only catch here is that we do have a cons check program running every day which was not correcting the issue..but when i ran it manually, the issue got corrected automatically....
The only difference between the job run manually and the one running daily in background is that the background run has parallel processing profile assigned to it while i ran it manually without any PPP..
I guess PPP is the reason it was not happening
    Thanks,
    Kunal

  • Under iTunes Summary, it shows my iPhone capacity for photos double the size it should be

When I last synced, the space shown taken up by photos doubled.
It nows says I have 92 photos (7.7GB).  I had just synced about 10 minutes before and it showed then only 46 photos (3.82GB).  When I now check via file manager, it still shows  46 photos (3.82GB), and if I view the photos directly via iPhone camera roll.. it still indicates there is only 46 photos.
The things I had done just before was to upgrade the iPhone to the latest version, and then I had just ticked, then unticked the manually manage video & music on itunes.. so not sure if either of those actions casued the problem.
So what could have happend to make the photos take up twice the space.  I would like to get it back, as I am now running out of space!!
Thanks for any help or suggestions!

A re-sync of the device should clear up the issue.
If not, try reseting or restarting the device, these will not affect the data on the device.
I doubt any issue actually exists, it is more likely just a misreporting of the information from the device.

  • Why is iTunes not sinking certain music on a playlist to my 4S, also it is not showing splits in capacity bar (music, photos, apps etc.)?

    Hi,
My iTunes will not sync any new music in my "iPhone Music" playlist to my phone. It has been saying that there was too much capacity but that has corrected itself now.
Also, iTunes is not splitting the uses on the capacity bar for Music, Apps, Photos etc.
I can't seem to add any new music to my phone now.
    Can anyone help?
    Ta

It's telling you there's not enough space *on your 4S*.  The 25GB you refer to is probably that on iCloud, that's different memory than that on your iPhone.  You need to delete video, pictures, apps, or whatever ON THE IPHONE, to make enough room for downloading updates to your apps.
