"Invalid Account. Please Validate." for Curve 9360

Facing this issue since I bought the device since last Thursday. The issue is recurring, and even the successful account setup attempt never pops up email account message box on home screen and after some time the status is same - Invalid Account. Please Validate.
I have spoken to the Starhub care but to no use. I know it's certainly not the device issue, somewhere Blackberry server or my Gmail server is at fault or I am not doing it the right way (now impossible as I have tried all the troubleshooting posts I managed to find on Google).
It's very annoying now, why am I paying only for the BBM. I need email connectivity as well.

Did you do this sequence?
Check setting are correct in Google.
Delete the Google account from the BB.
Recreate the BIS Gmail account., then logout.
On the BB go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
Press menu key, and select register now.
You will get a registration message. Then go to email settings and send service books.
Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require logging into the carriers BIS site
via PC.
You will get an verification email for your gmail account.
Verify the device and Gmail are working.

Apps available for Curve 9360 - At what URL can they be examined via a PC?

I can't find on the BB website a page where I can consult confortably, on my PC, the available apps for BB Curve 9360.
(Starting from the Home p.\Apps I get to a list of devices, where I find Curve, but when I click on it, I'm adressed again to the Home page!)
Please, let me know the URL where I'm sure they are, even if I can't find it by myself.

If, by "apps", you mean those natively included with the OS package, then that's tricky...there is a variety of core apps, but each carrier is free to "wrap" the core OS package with things specific to their network and/or that they have chosen to push on to their customers.
If, by "apps", you mean add-on and 3rd party apps that the user chooses to download, then there are a variety of resources:

Application Document to go is not installed for Curve 9360

Hi,
Last week, I was having issues with Curve 9360 as it was rebooting indefinitely. Supposingly some software issue.
I had searched on support forum and re-installed the software on my BB using desktop software.
It is working fine but I cant find "document to go" in the applications, which was there when I had purchased it.
Can you please let me know how to install it? I couldnt find it in app world also.

I don't know how to check a battery serial number, sorry.
My advice would be, if it works good. If not return. I've bought OEM batteries on the past myself off eBay.

Invalid account assignment category for Service order

Hi Experts,
We upgrade in ECC. I suppose this topic is linked to this one. See more detail below.
On a repairing flow, central alerts by a complaint from customer. Operator creates a Repair request, next receive the broken machine (VRRE + VL02N). A inspection lot is automatically generated. When operator takes Usage decision, customizing allow to create a Service order according to the right UD code.
My issue is on this place. When operator take the usage decision, SAP displays the error message "Invalid account assignment category".
Data in standard customizing are missing in "Define account assignment cat. and document type for purchase requisitions". Only "Acct. Assgmnt Cat. Gen." is filled with "F" value (Order). 3 other are blank. If I tryed to save, SAP rejected and asked for values.
If I check in SAP help, SAP indicates that we don't have to change these values if new types of categorie are not customized. Also SAP detailled the right values. What is strange is that the flow is running without these values in production. Test in development environnement block the flow and the creation of the Service order.
Have you already heard some strange behavior like this one ?
Moreover if you have more detail on the impact on this customizing, I'm very interesting, and also the good way to solve this issue will be great.

'Update Fail' message appears when I try to set up my gmail account on my BB Curve 9360

I managed to set up an hotmail account I no longer use but for some reason I am unable to set my gmail account.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Replacement body for curve 9360

Does anyone know where we can source a new casing for my sons 9360 curve as Vodafone sent through a pink one when a black was ordered and they don't have any black in stock to change it so we thourght we could get a new casing easily but the one we ordered does not fit!

Help me please my bb curve 9360 is yet to work

When I tried to log in to my facebook messenger, twitter or other social network on my blackberry 9360 it didn't work I receive a response that ''you are currently on a data plan that does not support this service please connect to a wi fi or contact your service provider for upgrade'' I have subcribe to another BIS plan but it still the same.
my bbapps world work but when I tried to download I receive a response that ''no cached credentials found error : 40721.
Pls wat can I do as am getting fed up
Note:have tried all mobile service provider here in Nigeria but everything works when I connect to wi fi. Also the fone was bought for me london used.

"Invalid Account. Please Validate"

I recently had my storm replaced due to an issue with the female connection with the wall charger (it wasn't accepting my car charger or my wall charger.) I am having trouble setting up my gmail account on my phone. I cannot receive emails on my gmail account, and when I go to Email Setup, I get "Invalid Account. Please Validate" in red under my gmail account, and requires my email password again. I type in my password and get 'The application has encountered an error and cannot continue.' (Keep in mind that I have done a battery pull more than once) I figured I might go around this hiccup by going to http://www.blackberry.com/go/vzw and delete the account and add it again there. I successfully deleted it, then upon adding the email I got "user name or password is invalid, if this problem persists please contact your provider (gmail)" but after a few tries I got it added again, but still having the same invalid account problem on my storm..Any suggestions?
BTW my yahoo account is working just fine..

This means that the phone you have was software unlocked to use on any carrier, or hacked. When you installed the update it restored the lock that originaly came with your phone. Not much you can do now. Apple will not support hacked phones. You will need to find out the carrier your phone is locked to and see if they offer official unlocking, or start googling to see if you can find a way to unlock 4.2.

You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.

You aren't going to be able to delete it without the correct password. If it's your ID, you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. If it isn't your ID, you will have to get the password for the person who owns the ID. There's no way around this and no one else can help.

Curve 9360 custom sound alerts for messages will not work. Tried EVERYTHING.

I have a brand spanking new BlackBerry Curve 9360 that just arrived yesterday. It is great apart from this very frustrating small prob. I can not customise my message alerts for individual people in my address book. When I click on "try it" only the LED button flashes and there is no sound or vibration. I am trying to get the sound and vibrate to play as "active profile" but it just won't. I can override it and have custom volume and vibrate that plays no matter what the profile but as I sometimes like to set my main profile to vibrate or silent, it won't do.
So far, to fix it, I have tried:
Wiping profile and sounds from the blackberry software
Full factory reset
Creating my own profile and using that instead of "normal" or any of the other preset ones
Loads of battery pulls before and/or after any changes
I have also had a few different people text me to make sure the problem isn't just the "try it" feature. It isn't. The sound that plays is always the default message sound for whatever the default profile is.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

I have also experienced exactly the same problem.
The profile is set on normal, with the ringer volume on 10, the ring tone has been selected, and I have also selected the option of the vibrator along with the ring tone.
Now here is the problem, initially it rings and works perfectly, however it seems to automatically turn off the volume so the LED light keeps flashing, however there is not ring tone or vibration.
If you select the "normal" profile or any other profile and change the ring tone or the volume, and click on the try it icon at the bottom, it still only flashes the LED, with no sound.
Have tried everything that you have mentioned in your email, however still unable to rectify the issue. the only way to rectify is it to hard stop the BB, by pulling out the battery and restarting the Blackberry.
Can anyone help or suggest what needs to be done ?
