If it so, u can configure it at JDEveloper in the Tools->Preferences->Web Browser and Proxy section.

I use front page to create web pages, but my pages don't get recognized by Google and MSN. I was told that my page's beginning code isn't right. Meaning, my pages start with the coding (see below) using FrontPage 2002

Originally, it was designed with Dream Weaver, but when my brother left, I didn't have Dream Weaver on my PC, so I just pulled his site off the net with the FrontPage program I have on my PC. I recently ordered Dream Weaver so it's on its way to me. I'll convert back to Dream Weaver as soon as I get it.

The DOCTYPE switches the browser to standards mode, which is less forgiving of errors.
In CSS, units must be specified: try height: 111px.

Improper display with !DOCTYPE html

The attributes you mention are non-standard (specific to Internet Explorer), and as such Firefox only supports them in Quirks Mode. To trigger quirks mode, omit the DOCTYPE declaration from your document (presumably you use a malformed DOCTYPE, which had the same effect).

ERROR: -1639 INVALID COMMAND LINE ARGUMENT

Trying to install software for Shuffle that Santa brought and get this error messsage...
"Error: -1639 invalid command line argument. Consult the windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help."
Install stops at this point.

Ok I'll do some more searching but I found something in the community forums.
APPSearch can not return this data into a property, so instead, for some unspeakable reason, returns a value of Null, follwed by another Null. This means that the property is created, and populated with two null characters. Bad news if the property also happens to be a PUBLIC property. All public properties are passed as part of the command line sent in a stream to the background installer process by the Execute Action. Since this stream now contains a double null value in a property, the stream is prematurely terminated. This creates an invalid command line, and thus the 1639 error.
This user solved it by using the MSi Cleanup installer util.
EDIT: A little more info...
This problem is almost impossible to detect through the MSI log files since our friends at Microsoft chose to limit the length of any line in the log. It is impossible to get a dump of the full command line that generates this error.
EDIT2:Note that error 1639 only ocurrs when the install package is run from removable media. When the package is run from local storage, the behavior is far more obtuse. The background install process, failing to receive a complete command line, is forced to run as if there had been no UI session, which in turn causes the APPSearch action to run again as if the install was running in silent mode. This causes re-evaluation of all properties a second time, destroying the feature selections made in the UI session, and also forcing the install to run under user credentials instead of elevated, even though AdminUser, ALLUSERS and Privleged properties are set. This is a very serious error that causes total failure of the installation.

Ora-31001 invalid reference when enqueuing xmltype payload w/ dtd file ref

We're using AQ to store xmltype payloads in an Oracle 10gR2 DB.
We're able to enqueue normal XML payloads without issue, but recently we've attempted to enqueue XML with a DOCTYPE tag with reference to a dtd file. This results in an ora-31001 error stating the file reference for the dtd is invalid.
We've tried moving the dtd around, but are unsure what the oracle dbms thinks is the base dir for the file reference.
I've seen some documentation for xmldb that states the dtd must be located in reference to the xml doc, but as we are enqueueing an xmltype datatype in AQ I'm not sure how this can be applied. I've also seen documentation about using a dbms package to set the base url, but am also not sure how to apply it to this situation.
Anyone able to tell me where I can drop this dtd so that Oracle can reference it when parsing the xml during an enqueue?

Doctype html and instancebegin template

I have a template I've created in Dreamweaver 5.5 in which the first line reads <!DOCTYPE html>
When I create a document from this template, the first line is changed to:
<!DOCTYPE html>
This messes up Internet Explorer really bad.
Is there a way to tell Dreamweaver to either (1) move InstanceBegin code somewhere else or (2) drop it entirely?
Firefox, Chrome, Safari and the browser that comes with the Kindle Fire are unbothered by this excess code. Internet explorer, however, is destroyed by this.

This comment:  MUST BE placed BETWEEN the <html> and the <head> OR before the conditional comments so that the changes made to this section on your template(s) will reflect on all pages created from them.

I've found several threads on SDN Forums about similar errors, but I did not find a solution for my problem yet.

I create several file name entities in an external DTD.
It used to work sometimes back but I don't remember now when it begun to fail.
typical document for eg., is given below:

Error message: "invalid command line argument" while lodaing itunes

I'm trying to load Itunes onto a computer that already has a version of itunes on it. I get a message that says "error: -1639 invalid command line argument" Does anyone know what this means? Does this mean I can't load itunes onto a computer that already has itunes on it?
Also, I was able to load itunes on my laptop, but My ipod Icon is not appearing anywhere, not in itunes, not in explorer, not in my computer. I am, however, able to transfer music automatically when I plug the Ipod into the laptop. I have created several playlists and they have transferred over to the ipod as playlists. Any ideas why I can transfer despite not being recognized anywhere on the computer?
Last thing is, I have plugged the Ipod into three different computers with itunes on them, and the ipod does not show up in the source list.
I'm somewhat perplexed by all of this. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated

hmmm. folks typically only get that error if they are installing from removable media (such as a CD), although i have seen it happen if someone tries to install into the "recovery partition" of certain makes of PC.
if you download and save an installer to your C drive and run the install from there, do you still get the 1639?

You can embed the form on your website, but you need to make sure that javascript has been enabled in the browser. You need to copy the embed code and add it into your HTML code. If you have used the SAXParserFactory.newSAXParser() method to get a parser, the documentation for this method says "Creates a new instance of a SAXParser using the currently configured factory parameters.".
So you might get a different parser in a different environment.

Invalid Content-Type:text/html

I have deployed a Web service on WLS 7.0 SP4 (used servicegen to generate the WS).
I'm accessing the webservice from a java client using SUN's jax-rpc pacakge.
I'm getting the following error:javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Invalid Content-Type:text/html

The error does not seem to appears in WLS stack. Place a sniffer tool between your client and service to capture more info.

All my reports are throwing below error in a sharepoint site configured with Access services. Does anyone have a clue what's causing it?

Hi Manvir,
For troubleshooting your issue, please go to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\ find your Web Application (represented by a port number), then delete an unknown folder created by sharepoint, namely vti_cnf from all the folders and sub-folders in
your web application.

I came up with a way to increase the bottom line and increase public opinion of Verizon.

When the Verizon customer service staff read script to customers all day, they know all the details... all the small details. The average user does not. Some people use Verizon email for important email, and then other email accounts for less important messages. There should be an option to pay a fee if the average user does not see any reason that Verizon would turn off email. Other companies have email.
Look at the ads for the Discover card in the subway. They read - Discover IT is New, IT is Different, IT is Human. Talk to a real person anytime you want. It will change the way you feel about ________.
What if Verizon changed. What if all the staff of Verizon, knowing that their Midyear reviews are coming suggested change. What if they could say "I came up with a multi-million dollar way to increase revenue." I came up with a way to increase the bottom line and increase public opinion of Verizon.
Give the customer a choice to pay $200 for a one time transfer of email. Then Verizon is a hero and makes money too. Multipy $200 by the number of people who had to give up internet this month and that number has to be big! Put that message on your midyear review. Nobody can tell where it came from. They will only know that you are trying to think of ways to increase the bottom line. Who knows... maybe there will be a raise in it for you! Good luck.
