Invalid Status

Hi All,
Recently i have exported and imported the user "bitech" from one server in apex to the other server in the apex.
So i have got all the tables, packages, procedures, functions within the user in the target server apex.
But some of those objects seemed to be in INVALID status whether those objects may cause the apex not to work in the target.
These are the objects which are in invalid status

Kyle,
Try this in 3.0, if it's still a problem please let us know. Otherwise assume that it was a bug that was fixed.

  • Fresh Install: Gnome Shell segfault and bgrt invalid status (Nvidia)

    Hi everyone! I have Arch freshly installed, and after some modprobing last night I was finally able to get the Arch repository Nvidia drivers working. That being said, I am still getting a "bgrt invalid status" message on boot up (and, for what it is worth I do not have an Arch splash screen). I have googled the issue which took me to a thread here on the Arch forums, but that was dealing with the Noveau driver and not Nvidia.
    Below is my entire dmesg output, and would appreciate if someone might help me look through it and diagnose the Gnome segfault and any other issues that may be present. I am also looking for some advice as to the proprietary Nvidia drivers. I have a GTX 980, and while currently I don't need any advanced rendering, here when an upcoming game gets released on Steam, I very well may need that.

    Hey, I ran into a similar error (not bgrt invalid status, but a gnome shell segfault) after updating recently and I'm using the proprietary drivers. I think I may have had multiple issues. I'm not sure if any of this advice will prove useful, but some combination of these worked for me:
    * Stop gdm with systemctl (use ctrl alt f2 or another tty), uncomment WaylandEnable=false in /etc/gdm/custom.conf and try restarting gdm
    * If that doesn't work, disable gdm and install another login manager (I used sddm)
    * If that still doesn't work and you have the infinality font packages for freetype, fontconfig, and cairo, replace them with the default packages and try starting your login manager again

  • Apex using result_cache has an invalid status for wwv_flow_language query

    In the v_$result_cache_objects view of SYS I noticed that Apex is using the result_cache feature of 11g.
    Some of the Apex queries will have the status 'PUBLISHED', but others have the status 'INVALID'
    Why does the "SELECT /*+ result_cache */ NLS_LANGUAGE, NLS_TERRITORY, NLS_SORT, NLS_WINDOWS_CHARSET FROM WWV_FLOW_LANGUAGES WHERE LANG_ID_UPPE..." query has a INVALID status?
    It already happens when I start APEX (http://localhost:7778/pls/apex).
    As I understand the result_cache method it will invalidate the cache after an update is done on the depending table.
    Does it make sense that those Apex queries has a result_cache hint when it will be invalidated soon after?

    Hi,
    just had a look at our own development box and for me this query doesn't show the status INVALID. It would also not make a lot of sense because this table is only populated during installation.
    When you shutdown your database and start it up again and then access APEX with http://localhost:7778/pls/apex to see the query in invalid status?

  • Procedure - invalid status

    Hi all,
         I have the procedure name val_xyz and it is worked fine upto july end and now while trying to compile the procedure, it is showing [email protected] invalid. I checked the status in the user_objects, it showing the status as "INVALID". Can any one tell me the reason how it automatically changed its status into "INVALID"..
    procedure contains various tables with datalinks....
    Please give me the possible reasons for how it changed automatically to INVALID status..
    Regards,
    Jame

    It can happen for many reasons. A simple ALTER on a dependent table might do it:
    SQL> create table t (col1 number);
    Table created.
    SQL> create or replace
      2  procedure p as
      3     l_col1 number;
      4  begin
      5     select col1
      6     into   l_col1
      7     from   t;
      8  end;
      9  /
    Procedure created.
    SQL> select object_name, status from user_objects where object_name = 'P';
    OBJECT_NAME                    STATUS
    P                              VALID
    SQL> alter table t add (col2 number);
    Table altered.
    SQL> select object_name, status from user_objects where object_name = 'P';
    OBJECT_NAME                    STATUS
    P                              INVALID

  • Package in invalid status - compiles ok

    I created a package having 2 procedures. The package compiles fine, no errors found. My "SELECT * FROM all_objects" shows the package with STATUS=INVALID.
    If I try to call a procedure in the package Says "ORA-06575 Package or function is in an invalid state."
    I've tried recompiling the package: "ALTER PACKAGE PKAXINT COMPILE BODY", but to no avail. And the key point being there is absolutely no compilation errors...

  • Updating INVALID status of objects in procedure

    Hi guys.
    I'm trying to create a procedure to update/recompile all invalid objects.
    I am having a few issues with the syntax, and was wondering if any of you have done anything like thsi before. I obviously have not. :)
    Here's teh code:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE recompile_sp
    IS
    CURSOR recompile_cur
      IS
       SELECT object_name, status
       FROM user_objects
       WHERE STATUS='INVALID';
    BEGIN
    FOR rec_cur IN recompile_cur LOOP
      ALTER rec_cur.object_name COMPILE;
    END LOOP;
    END;
    /

    I know your way makes way more sense, but the
    assignment (yes, I'm in school) is asking for a
    procedure to update teh invalid objects, which is why
    I was looking to do it that way in the first place.Fair enough :-)
    The correct way would be, as stated by others:
    begin
       dbms_utility.compile_schema(<schema>);
    end;Doing it it like in your procedure, you should probably do something like this:
    (NOT recommended, NOT tested)
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE recompile_sp
    IS
       CURSOR recompile_cur
       IS
          SELECT object_name, object_type, status
            FROM user_objects
           WHERE status = 'INVALID';
       PROCEDURE exe(rec IN recompile_cur%ROWTYPE)
       IS
       BEGIN
          EXECUTE IMMEDIATE    'ALTER '
                            || rec.object_type
                            || ' '
                            || rec.object_name
                            || ' COMPILE';
       EXCEPTION
          WHEN OTHERS
          THEN
             dbms_output.put_line(sqlerrm);
       END exe;
    BEGIN
       FOR rec_cur IN recompile_cur
       LOOP
          BEGIN
             exe(rec_cur);
          END;
       END LOOP;
    END recompile_sp;
    /Regards

    Is there a reason for the H2 message? Is this a connector
    related issue? Is this

    Thanks Timo and Frank for your responses.
    Timo, If I understand it correctly, I have go override am definition to catch the exception and continue.
    Frank, validating the data against db values is one minor functionality, hence buz is anticipating app shdn't be depend on db status. If db is up app shd validate with db values otherwise continue with the rest of the validations.
    Temporarily to run the app locally, when db is down, we removed the connection info from connections.xml.
    Thanks.

  • Invalid status of log

    Dear All.
    The database version is oracle 10.2.0.4.0 and the OS is hP UX.
    The out come of the v$logfile is as following below.
    GROUP# STATUS TYPE MEMBER IS_
    4 INVALID ONLINE /u101a/ora10g/oradata/pliv/redo4.log NO
    4 ONLINE /data2/oradata/pliv/pliv/redo4b.log NO
    5 INVALID ONLINE /u101a/ora10g/oradata/pliv/redo5.log NO

    6 ONLINE /data2/oradata/pliv/pliv/redo06b.log NO
    6 rows selected.
    We have 3 members status are invalid. The issue is that we want to change the path of the invalid member to new path and we can't shutdown the database.
    So is any way we can do this with out shuting the oracle database?
    Regards

    Hi,
    You must shutdown the db for relocating the logfile or otherwise create a different log group in the
    desired location..
    Refer the link,

  • Invalid status after successful run of procedure

    I have procedure, which gets invalid after a successful run, i.e. desc procedure_name-status invalid.how can i over come this??

    are you performing any DDLs inside your procedure?
    Such as dropping,altering a table or recreating a view the SP refers to?
    Please query DBA_DEPENDENCIES view for getting the list of objects your SP depends on. If you are modifying any of these objects inside your SP then it will become invalid after execution.

  • Polymorphic View commit does not validate & returns invalid status

    JClient 9.05.2, using the departments table i was able to reproduce the problem im having.
    I added a type field and created departments type a and b, included them as subtypes in the default departments view and tested the Appmodule departmentsA view, create and then save without any input -- the primary key validates as being required as it should.
    Now create a panel for DepartmentAView1 perform insert and then commit -- no validation and this ties to another posting I have isTransactionDirty() returns the wrong results. What to do, suggestions?

    Hello,
    It's just refresh problem. Your Commit button is not aware of checkbox checking so it isn't changing it's enability (initially disabled).
    What you could do is:
    a) set checkbox autoSubmit="true" and set Commit button partialTrigger to checkbox Id.
    This will inform Commit button to refresh.
    or (better)
    b) remove Commit button disabled property.
    This will keep Commit button always enabled.

  • Intermedia Status Invalid after 10.1.0.4 patchset

    I just installed the 10.1.0.4 patche set 2. At the end of the 7.4.2 Upgrade the Release 10.1 Database it shows Oracle interMedia's status is INVALID. How can I find out what's causing the INVALID status and more importantly how can I fix it?
    Thanks in advance
    Brian
    PS. Oracle Expression Filter is also INVALID.

    Never mind....
    I ran the @ORACLE_BASE\ORACLE_HOME\rdbms\admin\utlrp.sql and those database components are now VALID

  • Status Of Objects INVALID

    Hi all
    I am trying to load the netscape LDAP supporting classes into database(loadjava), i
    found the status of all the classes showing
    INVALID can any one suggest me the reason and
    how to over come it.
    Thanks
    Ramu
    null

    hi Ramu,
    I am also facing same problem. What I could figureout is that when we uoload a class file using loadjava the JVM inside the Oracle trys to compile that and if it could not found any of the refrenced class then it mark the status invalid. You can use -resolve option of loadjava to see the actual error.
    Now in my case it says oracle.sql.BLOB could not be found. When i looked in user_objects view it has INVALID status for all the oracle.sql.BLOB/CLOB etc.
    I think it has to do something with Oracle JVM. If you find out some solution for this pl mail me at [email protected]
    Thanks.

  • Does the new command 2 binary format work with Apple Push Notification Service? I receive an invalid response status code of 128.

    Does the new command 2 binary format work with Apple Push Notification Service? I am sending 2 messages with the same payload to 2 different devices. None of the messages display on either of the devices. It seems that at least 3 should have been displayed. For my first device, I received a response with an invalid status code of 128 and the message identifier is 2 indicating that the first message was OK. However no message was displayed on the phone. For the second device, I did not receive any error response, but no message was displayed on the device.
    Does ANS perform any validation on the message identifier? The Local and Push Notification Programmin Guide says the message identifier is:
    An arbitrary, opaque value that identifies this notification. This identifier is used for reporting errors to your server.
    I know that the device tokens are valid because the same tokens work when I use the legacy basic or enhanced formats. The phones display the messages correctly when I send to ANS using the old ANS message format.

    I finally got this to work. The picture in the Programming Guide is very confusing. The solution was to prefix every message's frame data with command 2 and that messsage's frame data length. Here is a sample:

    SocketTimeoutException
    2 - is clearly command
    0 0 0 77 - frame length
    1 - item Id
    what's 0 32 ? According to this page https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Concept ual/RemoteNotificationsPG/Chapters/Commu…
    Item id  should be followed by item length. But item length is obviously greater than 32 because device token's length is 32. Can you please explain why 0 32 were used? and do you have any insight on item id meaning ?

  • Item Import - completes with " Completed Error" status and process_flag=4

    I am trying to Import Item through Open Interface.
    RDBMS : 9.2.0.5.0
    Oracle Applications : 11.5.10
    Populated data into mtl_system_items_interface with process_flag = 1.
    Once I run the "Item Import" program it completes with error, with the following in the log file.
    The records are updated with process_flag = 4. but there are no error details in mtl_interface_errors for those corresponding records in the interface table.
    How do I identify the error ?

    Found a few Packages related to Item revision , were in Invalid status.
    Compiled them all and now the items are getting imported without any issue.
    Thanks Sandeep for your word.

  • Oracle DataBase server component is in INVALID in 10.2.0.4

    Hi
    I took full RMAN backup from production two node RAC system. Production system is in Oracle 10.2.0.3. I tried to restore the backup in another system which is single node system Oracle 10.2.0.4. I restored and recovered database successfully. When I try to do 'alter database open resetlogs' I received following error:
    RMAN-03002: failure of alter db command at 11/05/2009 08:39:10
    ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
    ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure
    ORA-39700: database must be opened with UPGRADE option
    Then I started database with upgrade option.
    SQL> STARTUP UPGRADE
    SQL> @?/rdbms/admin/catupgrd.sql
    Below shows the invalid objects.
