Invisible radio buttons

When I export an Indesign doc to PDF everything works fine but if fields are not highlighted the radio buttons are invisible. Is there any way to export these buttons from In Design as visible. Otherwise I have to laboriously select every button on the PDF and change their borders to black to make them visible.

For example, this is what it looks like without 'Highlight Existing Fields':

So it does appear, but it doesn't print with the buttons enabled.
It's so weird because it did work before. I reexport forms that did work and they don't have the radio buttons show up.

I am using Adobe Acrobat X Standard, and I can't seem to find a JavaScript that will do what I want.
I need one check box to be invisible or hidden if a certain radio button is selected.
Ex: if a user selects "yes" from the radio button list, I need one of 2 check boxes lower on the form to be invisible/hidden/non-selectable.

I have 2 radio buttons in my screen and both of them are checked or on. Not sure how to make one of them is on and other is off at a time. If A is off, i need to make few screen fields invisible or display. if A is on, i need to make the screen field invisible or input enabled.
Can you please suggest me a suitable way to accomplish this task.

in the Layout select the Radiobutton icon and drag/drop it on the layout
Define them as by double clicking on the radiobutton icon

do the same for the Second Radiobutton RB2.
Now select both the radiobuttons RB1,RB2 both at a time and right click the cursor

Invisible Selection Screen(Low and High) accordingly through radio-button

                     Currently I've faced some problem regarding selection-screen.Our user want that when he click P1(say) radio-button, then selection-screen "s1-high " is invisible and when he click P2(say) radio-button that time "s1-low" is invisible.

If user clicks radio button P2 then how can s1-low become invisible? Do you mean when radio button P2 is clicked program will not display the select option at all?Since If s1-low becomes invisible there is no point of s1-high in the display. Please clarify your requirement.
However, I think that if it can be something like if radio button 1 is pressed s1-low is visible. If radio button 2 is pressed normal select option is displayed. Please check the following code to achieve this:

To make a push button invisible when a Radio button is selected.

Hi,
     There are 5 radio buttons in a group. Out of those when st and 3rd are selected a push button should be made visible else invisible.
    The problem is that when the transaction is executed by default the first radio button will be selected but the push button wont be visible.But if i re-select the 1st radio button then the push button will be visible.
    So is there any way to make the push button visible when the transaction is executed(ie bcoz the 1st radio button is by default selected) or neither of the radio buttons should be selected by default.

For example say your PF sataus name is 'STATUS-100' which contains the push button and function code for the button in 'PUSH', then in your part of code use the following syntax,
Here 'rb_select' is your radio button.

Hello,
You can disable the radio button by using:
disabled="TRUE" if you are using the JSP Taglib or setEnabled(false) if you are using the Classlib.
In terms of making your radio button invisible, maybe you could wrap the control in a JSP if/else statement that would not render the content unless a certain condition is met-->thus making it "invisible".

Radio button's click event to script both ".presence" and ".mandatory" -- Need help !

I've adopted the script stated in HightlightOneRequiredField.pdf so that the print button in my form can detect and prevent null field before pop up the print dialog. It works fine.
In my form, I've created a mandatory 2-radio buttons group with click event script written, using ".presence", in each button. When user clicks:
Button A: make subform A visible and subform B invisible;
Button B: make subform A invisible and subform B visible.
Apart from the visibility of the subforms, what I want more is to add a .mandatory script (together with the click event) in the buttons to turn some fields' mandatory in the subforms on and off so that when user clicks:
Button A: will also turn some fields' value type in subform A to be "User
Entered-Required", whereas some of that in subform B to be "-
optional";
Button B: will turn the subform B's fields to "-Required" and subform A's
fields back to "-optional"
However no luck with me. When I press the print button after any of the radio buttons checked, the print dialog still show up even the subforms' fields are null as if those fields' value type always remain "-optional"
I wonder if this problem is caused by Chinese binding name ? The script written in the radio button B is:

Disable an Input field with the help of a radio button selection.

Ideally this code should work since in the PBO i.e., At selection screen output i am enabling the fields, and also when i select the second radio button i am also checking for the value too..
I am working on 4.7 version of SAP. The Most interesting observation is it works fine for few variants, and not with others.

How can we have a column having text and radio button in the same line?

Hi,
I have a column which needs to have data with a radio button. Was able to achieve this by using <trh:tableLayout>. But when i select the radio button it shifts to the next line. Want to stop this behavior of radio button of shifting to the next line. This column also includes a hyperlink.So the text and hyperlink are made visible invisible based on radio button action.
Adding one more doubt. Can a particular columns horizontalgrid can be made invisible?
Any help would be appreciated.

Remove the <trh:> components. Put the other components as direct children of the PanelGroupLayout:

Radio button names disappear in Fields menu

I'm having this very odd experience in which the names of radio buttons I've created and grouped randomly disappear in the Fields menu.
That probably doesn't describe it too well, so here's what I'm seeing:
Notice how there's a gap between "Choice1" and "Choice3"? It should read "Choice2". If you look at the form itself, there are clearly five radio buttons.
The 'invisible' buttons in the menu disappear randomly once I create more buttons. Sometimes it's "Choice2", sometimes it's "Choice5".
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Individual radio buttons cannot be named (only the overal exclusion group can be named) or else rawValues will not export.

Radio Buttons on Selection Screen

Hi,
I have four radio buttons on selection screen in a frame, all belonging to the same group.
When the program is called using transaction 1, first two radio buttons are displayed. When the program is called using transaction 2, bottom two radio must be displayed.
I am doing this using the following code.
The problem is : When last two are displayed, there is empty space left on the top and first two are displayed there is empty space left in the bottom of the frame. How can this be taken care of such there are no empty spaces in the box frame?

Radio Buttons + Required Input/Output Fields in Dialog Programming

Hi All,
Please find the below issue.
I have 2 Radio buttons
RB1 and RB2 defined in group RG.
And by default RB1 is selected.
I also have 3 Input.Output Fields.
F1 , F2 & F3.
Now before displaying the Screen for the end user,
I need to display as follows:
A)
RB1 = X -
> Selected.
RB2 = Space -
>Not Selected.
F1 -
> Visible.
F2 & F3 -
>Invisible.
B)
RB1 = space -
> Not Selected.
RB2 = X -
>Selected.
F1 -
>Invisible.
F2 -
>Visible.
F3 -
>Visible.
When i am debugging, the value of RB1 is not X though it is selected on the screen (by default due to Radio Button Group) & hence the below code is not working.

But when i select RB2 = X on the screen.
Value is getting populated .

Alright, you defined the radio buttons and grouped them. Did you also assign Fcode to the radio button group? if not already assigned the assign something to FctCode to the radio button. If you can double click on one and assign a name, this will automatically assign to other one. If you already did that... just ignore it.
Next, by defualt, RB1 will not be having 'X' though it shows selected but you can always make it by just writing the following statement in PBO (If you dont want to mislead anybody)
if RB1 = space and RB2 = space.
RB1 = 'X'.
endif.
If you have already done that the next step would be.... Assign a screen group value to the fields F1, F2 and F3.
for example, double click on the field F1, add GR1 in groups in first box and do the same for field text/label if any. Same way, assign GR2 to F2 and F3.
Then add the following code in PBO. (Someone or you can write it better. This is just an example)
LOOP AT SCREEN.
    if RB1 = 'X'.
       if screen-group1 = 'GR2'.
          screen-input = 0.
          screen-invisible = 1.
       endif.
    endif.
    if RB2 = 'X'.
       if screen-group1 = 'GR1'.
          screen-input = 0.
          screen-invisible = 1.
       endif.
    endif.
    MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDLOOP.

Select options and radio button problem

Hi All,
In selection screen I have a select option and two radio button default is disable when I input value on select option, it will enable radio button. How can I do this?

Problem with radio Button(urgent)

hai friends
(sub:- deselecting radio buttons(2 radio buttons) at a time. ie. no one is selected at any point of time. whenever he/she cliks it is going to select.)
In my form, i have 2 radio buttons. if i click one radio button it opens one canvas and enter some data and when i press OK button there, it will come back to original canvas.at this movement selected radio button should be deselected.
If i click 2nd radio button it also opens another canvas and enter some data and when i press OK button there, it will come back to its original canvas.at this movement selected radio button should be deselected.
when come back to its original canvas, is there any chance of deselecting both radio buttons at a time. ie. at any point of time customer may select any one. no one is default . i need that methodology. it is possible? if so, give me code for it.

Hi,
you can use a third radio button and set it to be invisible. Whenever you want your two visible buttons to be deselected simply set the value to your third button value.
