Invitation E-mail is Never Received

I have sent an invitation e-mail to one of my users, but the e-mail is never received. I have been monitoring our mail server log file, and the e-mail has never arrived (after more than 24 hours). Three other people received their invitations without problem. I have deleted this user and re-sent the invitation several times, but the e-mail is never received. It's not being blocked by a spam filter; it's never seen by our mail server. What can I do to either resolve or troubleshoot this further?

Yeah i just finished chatting with Adobe support. Same thing. They will get back to me for a solution. It's a problem due to domain name. Because i tried to send invitation to hotmail adress and it worked, but no for a @domain.com

  • Photostream email invite is never received

    Hi,
    I was having a problem where my shared photo stream invite e-mails were not being received.
    After much frustration of repeatedly asking freinds to check their spam, etc etc. I sent a test invite to myself and it never showed up.
    I performed two steps and got this to work. I am not sure which specific step fixed it or if it was a combo of the two.
    1. In the iCloud settings on my iphone, in the 'Photos' setting I turned the photo sharing setting setting off.
    2. In my iCloud account settings, 'account' setting I re-entered my password so that the account was verified (green check marks appear next to apple id, password and description)
    3. I went back to the Photos setting and turned photo sharing back on again.
    Invite e-mails began working after that. I verified by making a test shared photo stream and inviting myself and I received the e-mail.
    This problem seemed to crop up after I updated to iOS 7. Not sure if had anything to do with the update, or if it was because of a password change to my iCloud account somewhere along the way causing a glitch..
    A very irritating problem solved at least for me!

    I didn't know how to get to that page.
    It gave me the opportunity to change my mail and use another alias that reaches the same email box.
    Actually I had obviously looked in my spambow, but nothing was there.
    After the change, I received the mail and could at last make my profile verified.

    This is most likely caused by an iCloud sign up (which forces you to use an email address as Apple ID).

  • CS 6.0 Never Received e-mail For Upgrade

    I purchased CS 5.5 in April and never received 6.0 upgrade e-mail. I contacted customer service in May and they said it should be coming shortly. I waited and waited. It never came. I've contacted customer service a couple of times but am having difficulty getting getting an answer from customer service as to what I should do after being given a promo code that didn't work. Any suggestions?

  • Sent E-mail Not Appearing in Sent Items - Recipient Never Received

    Do they appear sent on the server?  If not, then they didn't get to that point.
    Check her drafts folder as well.  She might have saved it but not sent it.

    Weird issue:
    We have a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 user who sent 3 e-mail messages this morning from outlook 2013. The messages were never received by the intended recipients, they are not in the Sent Items folder, they are not in the Deleted Items folder, and when viewing Sent and Deleted Items in OWA, they don't appear there either.
    This user was replying to messages from other users in our office, and the messages she was replying to says "You replied to this message at 9:04 AM". None of these replies contained attachments.
    A casual search of Outlook reveals no traces of the sent messages. Messages that were sent before and after these messages have been received by the recipients.
    Do e-mails really just disappear?

  • Mail Sends but never Received

    OK my SL mail server can receive mail without an issue.
    When I send mail using my server account - either directly from my server or relayed through Gmail - it gets sent - at least Mail.app gives me the woosh sound and no error, but the mail never gets to the recipient.
    I've tested the appropriate ports and they are all open.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • Help! Sent mail never received

    I've been having a problem where messages that I sent were never received (different addresses, different times). First it happened every so often. Then more frequently. And now I can't send any messages from my mac acct - not from the desktop app or from the web version. My internet provider hasn't changed. Nothing has changed expect my ability to send messages.

    There is something known as a realtime blackhole list. What this does effectively is blocks certain e-mail addresses based on frequent spamming from it. Once on it, it prevents your e-mail from being received by others who are on that list. Contact your friend's internet service provider to let them know not to block your address.

    What's really insidious about this is that you may not have ever been the direct cause of this, but rather because you posted your e-mail address in the open on the net somewhere, a spammer picked it up and spoofed your address to make it look like you were sending spam, when it really wasn't you. And as a result, if that spammer was wrongly caught and identified as your address, you may end up on a do not receive e-mail from list.

    If you have a rescue email address on your account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that account as well, and you've tried requesting the email again ? If you still can't find it then try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset it for you.

    When I go to buy a book it asks for security questions that I have no idea what the answers are.  When I ask for a reset to be sent to my email I never receive the email!  Help!

  • Calendar invitation e-mail address garbled

    When creating iOS Calendar invitation e-mail address is garbled by iOS. Have anyone seen the same? This is different than other reported bugs in this forum with topic Calendar invitations not sent.
    This is how I did invitation.
    1. Create invitation
    2. Invite by entering e-mail, NOT contact, example: [email protected]
    3. iOS will notify that mynameadrcom is not a valid e-mail address, i.e., e-mail address with ALL dots and @ removed! See picture below, with parts of address hidden.
    I have the same bug in ML 10.8.2. However, no warning, no logs, "only" effect is that invitation is NOT sent.

    I am attempting to give access to two new users and both have received the e-mail invitation. However when clicking the "Join your IT team on Spiceworks" link they eventually timeout/"This page can't be displayed". The links begins with http://track.spiceworks.com/track/click/... (the click tracking links are very long) and never redirects to the local server. I added a user two weeks ago without experiencing this issue.

  • I never received an installation disk with my iMac. I do require one now. How do I get it?

    Hello everyone,
    My wife and I purchased an iMac about 1,5 years ago. Perhaps 2. And everything worked perfectly. We even got the iPad 3 to go with and next month an iphone 5.
    However, since a few weeks my mail didn't respond anymore. Did not open, didn't do anything anymore. I found a solution and had it working again.
    NOW, it's jPhoto that is not responding anymore. Though only on MY account. We have two accounts on the system, but with my wife it is working. Just not on mine.
    I have found Disk Utilities and did a permissions repair. Which worked. I think... But then the disk repair does not. I can verify the disk but not repair it. It requires a reboot from the Mac OS X installation disk.
    I never received one. Was I supposed to get one with my iMac? Or should I make one? Can I still make one with the problems I am having? Or am I copying the problems to that disk?
    Can anyone enlighten me?

    PS: We did update to iOS 10.6 a while ago.

    In the meantime, if you really are on 10.6, you can try and repair the drive by using these options, both explained here. Safe Boot and fsck from single user mode.

  • ICal.app doesn't grab events/invitations from Mail.app

    Morning.
    My colleagues are using MS Outlook and send me invitations. I receive their emails with ICS attachments. In iCal.app I've activated »Preferences > Advanced > Automatically request invitations from Mail.app«. (I use a German GUI, therefore I do not exactly the terminology on an English GUI.)
    But iCal.app does not grab and display such invitations.
    What's wrong? What can I do to solve this serious problem?

    The oldest post in the feed is November 10, and Mail is showing back as far as that - a total of 25 posts.
    There may be older posts on the website, but many blog creation services limit the number of entries shown in the feed, moving older ones to an archive page and out of the page once that limit is reached. I don't know about Blogger, but I would assume that this is the case with this feed. You can expect the November 10 entry to disappear once a new one is added.

  • Mail just stops receiving email

    Mail just stops receiving mail randomly and multiple times through out the day.  We are using an in house IMAP mail server.  I can use Sparrow, PostBox, etc and it never stops receiving using those clients.  All I have to do to get Mail working again is close Mail and then restart.  It will work for a few hours then stop receiving.  When it is not receiving and can still send.  I have IMAP set up on my iPhone and it continues to receive even when Mail stops.  It has got to be a setting or something in Mail I just can find what it is.  I am running and iMac 3.4ghz, I7 with 16GB RAM, 256K SSD and 1TD SATA, and Mountain Lion 10.8.2.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  I don't want to use the other clients, I would rather use Apple Mail.

    Is there any recourse for receiving a refund through iTunes?  I e-mailed the vendor at the address given ([email protected]) to no avail.

    Presumably they meant for that app - was the in-app purchase to download an update for the app e.g. to remove adverts in it or to unlock extra features ? For any refund you will go back to as if you had not purchased the item i.e. the purchased will be removed from your account. If you want the meaning of the actual message clarifying then try replying to the message that you got from Support.
