Invoice date changed

Hi all,
When i Create a outbound delivery the date is 23.04.2010 , but the invoice shows the date 19.04.10, but the picking request date is 19.04.2010. How is it posible the invoice date shows the 19.04.2010.
Please give the solution for the above issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Suresh

Hi Suresh,
Billing date is generally picked as PGI date in the delivery. So, if the delivery and PGI happen on the same date then billing date will be the delivery date only irrespective of creation of billing document. However, if the delivery and PGI do not happen on the same date, then you can enter the actual PGI date as the delivery date and do the PGI. Hope this clarifies your queries. TQ

  • Address data changed after invoice is created

    Hi,
I've a problem to solve and it's related with data changed after invoice is created.
    The scenario is the follow:
1º - create a complete and standard sales process - order => delivery => invoice, with the standard partner scheme and without edit the address data, for any kind of partner
2ª after the invoice is created, I change the address data on Client Master Data, for the same client that I've used on previous process
3º I'll go to the VF03 transaction and take a look at the partner data on header level. Here I can see that the changes on the Client Master Data ar updated to the invoice document wich is already created and printed when I maked the changes
I think that could be a program error because, once the documento is created, you only can change texts and accounts if this document is not yet created.
And, I can't edit this kind of data on invoice creation because it must be done at order level.
So I don't understand why it happen, but it happen on more than one client.
I'll hope that anyone can help me to solve this issue.
    Kind regards,
    Nuno Rodrigues

    Hi Nuno,
the adresses of all Clients are stored in table adrc. If there are no changes in the order, the system takes the standard adress of the client. That is made for not having an extra adress for each order.
If you change the adress - the system will create a new adressnumber ( 999........ - see in VBPA ).
If you have different adressnumbers in your orders, you are not able th collect several orders into one delivery note - for the adressnumber ist normally a split-criteria.
Ich you will have an extra Adress for each Order, change the adress - for example by an user exit.
But if you have different adressnumbers - the delivery and the invoice will split the different orders - if you dont do something against in an user-exit.

  • Baseline date change after the creation of invoice list

When I create invoice document, the invoice date (vbrk-fkdat) is the end of the month and the invoice list date (VBRK-FKDAT_RL) is the next business day after the invoice date, the baseline date of the accounting document (bseg-zfbdt) is the document creation date and this is what I wanted.
However, when I start to create the invoice list, the baseline date on the accounting document (field bseg-ZFBDT) is changed to the invoice list date. Does anyone know why and how to fix and where to look in the configuration to see how invoice list date (vbrk-fkdat_rl) is populated? It seems to me that the baseline date default back to the invoice list date when invoice list document is created. Thanks for your help.  I also posted this question in the ERP Financial thread.

    Hi Valerie,
do you recall the User Exit?
    Thanks

    Hi
You need to check your payment terms. the baseline date is determined from the payment terms, which is assigned to the vendor. You can use OBB8 to see the config of payment terms.

  • Invoice date field change- MIRO screen

    HI all,
i want to check the field selection settings for invoice date (INVFO-bldat) on MIRO.
the user is getting default value as today's date. He wants a blank date
    Please help

Do you mean " posting date " get default by today date? because in my system the posting date that getting default today date, not invoice date.
And event if the users get today date, he/she can still change it.so its not a big problem.
Blank or today's date--> user still need to fill in /write the posting date.

  • How could I change the Invoice date automatically in MIRO?

Of course, I can change it manually. But the user want to calculate the due date in their own way---we have a special way to calculate the due date. So, I am looking for User-exit where I can write ABAP codes to recalculate the invoice date and cover the default invoice date, so the system can get the right due date by calculate the invoice date in the standard way.
Did anyone have any experience in change the invoice date??Pls tell me. THKS!

You can use the badi MRM_HEADER_DEFAULT.

  • Third Party process - billing date change in Sales order / Customer Invoice

    Dear Friends,
In Third Party Sales Process , as we are aware  billing is order related billing and it will become due only after vendor invoice is received.
My situation is in the original sales order billing date is eg: 01.02.2009 . The subsequent vendor invoice ( Invoice receipt done based on PR --> and PO)  has a later date eg: 05.02.2009 .
This means that the customer biling can be done only after this date.
How the system behaves in this case wrt to the billing date ( 01/02/2009) of the original sales order.
    Regards
    Mahesh

    Hi all ,
Thanx all for your responses . But my case is a bit peculiar . Here the vendor invoice is coming by IDoc through EDI . When EDI flow is confirmed, the billing date is pushed ahead. As per billing calendar  in CMR the customer can be invoiced only on the last date of the month.
As a result if the original billing date in the sales order is Feb end, when vendor invoice received through EDI , the billing date is shifting to march end .
Is it because the date of vendor invoice is causing this?  Obviously the customer billing date falls only after vendor invoice date.

  • AR aging basing on Invoice date

Currently client gets AR aging based on Due Date. For audit purpose they need AR Aging based on Invoice Date. During SAP implementation they were instructed to use document date as invoice date and generate a dump from FBL5N and do the aging. However this does not work for balancing items as the document date changes to the date on which the partial clearing of that item was done. This is not acceptable to auditors.
    Please help.
Any useful answer will be rewarded with points.

    Hi
Please try to use the field Baseline date for this purpose as this field will not be disturbed even when we do partial clearing of invoices.
    Reward points if found useful.

  • Invoice Date needs to be date when Customer receives goods

Client when shipping by sea would like the Invoice Date to be the same day the customer received the goods, basically the Pick Up Date even though the delivery might have been 'shipped' from the jetty.
How can this be done? Would the Invoice Date be the Pick Up date?
    Sanjib

    Hi,
I guess you're asking about OM shipping and AR invoices. If you have invoicing at line level, as soon as you ship a line, OM insert a line into AR interface and this line is ready to be imported into AR. If you ship from USA to Europe by sea it will take about 10-15 days to goods be delivered. As invoice date is defined when you import it into AR, in order to achieve your requirement, you will not be able to import your invoice into AR and will not have info on Receivables. Or do you want to import your invoice into AR as soon as goods are shiped and change the invoice date when customer receives them?
In the first option, you could do the following: define two AR batch sources: AIR and OTHER, for example. The first one will be used to sea shipping and the second one to ground or air shipping. In the first AR batch source, uncheck derive date. In OM, define two order types: OT_AIR and OT_OTHER, one to sea shipping and other one to ground/air shipping. In order type AIR, define AIR as batch source, and in OT_OTHER define OTHER as batch source.
Normally import your transaction with batch source OTHER into AR. For the orders shipped by sea, you will have to import them one by one. As soon as you receive the customer acks, go to ar autoinvoice and import the order received by the customer and define as default transaction date the date informed by the customer.
I know it is not a good solution, so I think you will need some custom to have it done.
    Hope it helps,

  • Tax code on the basis of Invoice Date in MIRO

    Hi Gurus!
Tax rate change from 12.5% to 15 % is due on 1st October in NZ._________________
Client requirement is that in MIRO transaction w.r.t. PO instead of the tax code being picked up from PO, the Tax code should be picked up depending upon the Invoice Date. _____________
For Eg. Tax rate changes from 12.5% to 15% on 1/Oct/2010,
    Invoice Date = 20/Sep/2010, Posting Date = 20/Sep/2010, Tax Code = H1 (12.5%)
    Invoice Date = 20/Sep/2010, Posting Date = 01/Oct/2010, Tax Code = H1 (12.5%)
    Invoice Date = 01/Oct/2010, Posting Date = 01/Oct/2010, Tax Code = H3 (15%)
Is there a way this can be achieved?
    Kind Regards,
    Mehul

    Hi Mehul,
We just had such situation in Canada.
It is recommended not to change the tax rate in the Tax code which is being used in open invoices because that could cause reporting and discount problems. And I am sure there will be open invoices with tax rates 12.5% come october 1. The solution is:
Create a new Tax code in transaction code FTXP with rate 15%( effective date Oct 1 and set the same GL Tax account) everything as old tax code except for 15%  which will used for POs initiated from Oct1 onwards. For PO's prior to Oct 1. just use the same tax code with 12.5%.
During MIRO the Tax code/rate  used in PO will be default,  you will have the option to go with old Tax code-12.5% or new tax code 15%.

  • In FB60, duplicate invoice check does not work if invoice date is different

In FB60, duplicate invoice check does not work if invoice date is different
This issue is in FB60 and not MIRO.
Duplicate invoice check is activated in vendor master.
I posted an invoice for a vendor with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011
I tried posting for same vendor (and also Co Code) with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011. System does not allow. This is fine.
Now I change only date, from Nov 01 to Nov 02, and system allow posting.
Why I don't get the error message when date is different ? It should not be treated as a different invoice since invoice reference, amount, Vendor and Co Codes are same.
SAP documentation says that it checks document date during duplicate invoice check even for FI invoices, then why does it allows in this case.
    Is this a bug ?
I already tried changing settings in SPRO under LIV, this does not impact FB60 invoice booking.
    Thanks
    Sandeep

    Hi,
Use BTE - 1110 - (Check on Invoice Duplication) for FB60. Take the help of your ABAPer to make a coding in Function module mentioned in BTE.
Need to make a copy of the FM and then you can do relevant coding.
    refer the link.

    Hi BreakPoint,
    Thanks for the information.
I have applied the same way but it is showing only lower line items now.
Invoice dates for Higher level items are not there.
I am pasting the code here which I have applied.
Then you can give me more guidence.
This is to be done only for 'ZREP' sales orders.
if w_vbak-auart EQ 'ZREP' and w_vbak-uepos is not INITIAL.
read table t_final into w_final_ZREP with key vbeln = w_vbak-vbeln
                                                                        posnr = w_vbak-uepos.
                             w_final-erdat_i = w_final_ZREP-erdat_i.

  • Baseline Date Change

    Hi Experts,
While doing MIRO, , the baseline date will be default as document date based on Payment Terms.
But in my case, both invoice date and base line date is different. I assure that baseline date will set as default invoice date and it was changed while doing MIRO.
But Client wants to confirm whether the entries (Baseline date) were changed or not.
Any pointers to find the changes occured in the Baseline date.
    by
    Prabhu

    Dear,
There is one more solution :
    Go to tcode MIR4..
Enter the document and year.click on ENTER.
Click on "GO TO" in Menu bar.....Click on Display change document.
Here also you can get the changes which have occured in MIRO document.

  • Invoice Date

    Hi Friends,
I made an error while creating an invoice!
I haven't check the invoice date before releasing it!
So could anyone help me, if there is any chance to change the date in invoice.
    Thanks,
    JP

    Dear Jayapriya:
I think is better to cancel the invoice in VF11 and issue a new invoice with the right date.

  • Invoice date different from GL date

I have several invoices where the GL Date is different from the Invoice Date. For example, the Invoice Date is 10-JUN-2002 and the GL Date is 01-JUL-2002. In all the invoices from another month, the Invoice Date is equal to GL Date. Anyone knows how can I fix this problem? Thanks

I think this problem is not a problem.
The date must be changed by the preparer
