Invoking esb remarks

Hi,
I have now succesfully invoked a esb proces from a bpel proces. However, I was first getting a strange connection error. This was solved by invoking the esb (more precise the start routing service) by using the routing service wsdl from the AS console (webservices tab) instead of the wsdl defined in the properties tab in the ESB console.
The differenece between the two urls is in te context-path. The one in the AS is:
event/<system name> and in the ESB console is \esb\wsil\<system-name>.
I do not have a explanation why it did not worked with the ESB console url? do you have?
Regards,
-Tom

Hi Sjoerd,
This is the error-message:
<fault>
- <remoteFault xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension">
- <part name="summary">
<summary>
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection refused: connect
</summary>
</part>
</remoteFault>
</fault>
Further investigation reveals that the service endpoints in both wsdls differ in the uri's serverpath. Both uses a different port. I also notice more difference in wsdls. For example, the working wsdl also contains a port type definition.
I will search further on the differences. In the meantime, I hope you come with suggestions.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
-Tom

    Hi Vijay,
    This is a bug and you can refer the metalink note:

    Also you can refer the following link:

  • Error while invoking ESB process from a BPEL process

    Hi all
    We have a requirement to call an ESB process from a BPEL process. We are using an adapter wth the ESB's WSDL url. After deploying the BPEL process, the registered ESB is getting called for most values while suddenly some values return the followign error
    *"exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection reset"*
    The catch here is, if we re-run the process with the same values again, the ESB is called successfully! How is it possible for a process to error out and run normally for the same inputs ?
    What could be the possible fix for this? I am thankful for any inputs on this.
    Vijay

  • BPEL invoke ESB fails with javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 404

    I work with SOA 10.1.3.3 (Patched).
    When I call an ESB Routing Service from BPEL, are generated an exception as follow:

    </part></remoteFault></fault></messages>
    I've already read the metalink note 427452.1 and I tried the 2 way indicated to solve this problem. But the problem persist.
    In the ESB console the Web Services considered above:
    WSDL URL http://wise-svr1.wise.com:7777/esb/slide/ESB_Projects/AppWBPMCicloPassivo_ESB_WBPMCicloPassivo/WBPM
    URI endpoint SOAP http://wise-svr1.wise.com:7777/event/DefaultSystem/WBPM_DASelectDatiTx
    When I click on WSDL URL explorer open an XML file
    When I click on URI endpoint SOAP explorer result "Page not Found"
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Your problem is with the esb service since calling the endpoint in a browser should result in a test interface for the esb service. Do you have any errors in the logfiles after deploying or calling the endpoint? ($ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\oc4j_soa\log\oc4j_soa_default_group_1\oc4j\log.xml

  • Error invoking esb from web service proxy

    I have created a web service proxy (with jdeveloper 10.1.3.2) to invoke my service on the ESB.
    When i try to invoke this service with the proxy, the following error message appears:
    HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message transmission failure, response code: 500
    at oracle.j2ee.ws.client.http.HttpClientTransport.invokeImpl(HttpClientTransport.java:142)

    at testproxy.proxy.runtime.__soap_TestIn_execute_ppt_Stub.execute(__soap_TestIn_execute_ppt_Stub.java:88)
    When i take a look in the esb console, there i can see, that the service was invoked, but it is signed with the error symbol (i'm writing data into a database and the lines to the database adapter a green, but the lines back are red. But it writes nothing into the database. If i klick on the test webservice button at the appserver, everything works fine).
    Does anybody know the reason why it don't work?
    thanks

    In the ESB Control you can view the exception that's being thrown, is the PrivilegActionException the only stack trace you have?
    Maybe you can have a look if the data that's returned from the db-adapter is interpreted correctly by the ESB? You're working with a Request/Reply ESB so you need to make sure that as well the input as the ouput that's returned by the Routing Service is properly defined.

  • CRM and ESB Integratio - Invoking ESB Process using HTTP transport

    We have a CRM application that communicates to another application using HTTP transport ( basically sends XML doc). Now We have requirement that the CRM App need to communicate with ESB Process. Please advise me what adapter should I use in ESB ? Is there any custom adapter ?
    Thanks in adavnce..
    Monica

    It depends on the protocol supported on the ESB. If it is SOAP over http you need some client stubs in your application to be able to communicate via SOAP. I'd start with checking Axis or Xfire.

  • Time Delay when Initiating BPEL from Oracle ESB

    Hi there,
    I am currently working with a client who have an on-going integration project. They are using the BPEL and Oracle ESB components of the Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.3.1. There is an issue that periodically occurs.
    The scenario that we are occasionally getting is as follows:
    The ESB is used to Poll for business events in a SQL Server database. Business Events are just information that needs to trigger a process occuring. The ESB has a DB Adapter that POLLS for these events. The ESB simply listens for these events, when one occurs it transforms the incoming message and invokes a Synchonous BPEL process that processes the message. Periodically in their environment, when the ESB DB Poller picks up a message, there seems to be a significant time frame between picking up the message and invoking BPEL. This has been anything upto 90 minutes. For Example messgae picked up 1t 12.30pm and the BPEL instance starts at 2.00pm. This issue seems to be uncreatable. Has anyone experienced similar issues or has any advice regarding this?
    Any assistance / advise would be appreciated
    Dave

  • Help required in ESB

    Hi,
    I have a requirment where in my ESB is based on two different schemas, one for Request and one for response. Now I have to soap invokations for two diff BPEL Projects. I would be deciding the BPEL process to be invoked based on a parameter in my Request Schema. So when Im trying to create a filter in Router baed on that Parameter in Req, I am getting error, by default the response schema is getting opened, instead of Request shcema.
    Can any body please help me in creating the filter based on the Request Parameter.

    Hi,
    Try posting this message on the SOA Suite discussion forum (SOA Suite
    What you are describing, filtering on input XML data (the request SOAP message received by the invoked ESB process) should be possible using the filter option of routing services. Does the SOAP request matches the request message type defined by your request XSD?
    Is there more info on the error in the log files?

  • How to call ESB asynchronously from BPEL

    Hi,
    I have ESB that take input and returns output and fault. As while creating ESB we can not specify as sync esb or async esb. So how would i invoke ESB asynchronously from BPEL?

    ws-addressing is not supported in ESB, so you can not expose ESB as call/reply later, so there is no question of calling from BPEL asynchronously.
    ESB does support store and forward pattern (async), to call such ESB it is simple as calling any other web service.

  • SSL implementation with SOA 10.1.3

    Dear Experts,
    Our client wants to use SSL to invoke ESB Routing Service. Is it possible to implement SSL without 10.1.2 or 10.1.4 Oracle Application Server Infrastructure install?
    I assume we need OID for authentication and don't have that with 10.1.3 OracleAS release. Please advice..
    Thanks!

    The JDK has two keystores:
    - Yours
    - $JDK_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts.
    The cacerts keystore is used of trusted certificates which act as root certificates for certification chains. Your self-signed certificate acts as a trusted certificate and should be store in cacerts. It should also be store in the wallet as trusted certificate. That should be OK for the configuration.
    Check the HTTP Server documentation for the SSL configuration:
    - http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25221_04/web.1013/b25211/confmods.htm#sthref606
    You can test your SSL configuration step by step, enable SSL in Apache, with mod_oc4j, with OC4J.
    Check your log files. mod_oc4j is very picky about the file: URL prefix. Don't forget it.
