Invoking Jms Adapter from BPEL with enque stoped

Hi guys, I have an issue.
In my BPEL flowI have an invoke activity which has a jms adapter as a partner link.
The thing is that if you stop the enque in the DB, your flow in BPEL continues like nothing happened. It just passes the payload to the jms adapter. From it's point of view is asynchronous , but I want to make sure that the payload is in the queue before I continue the flow.
Any ideas?

Hi Oracler,
I don't understand what you mean by XML schema inline? Where do you define that in a JMS adapter ? Can you be more specfic when you say Try including both the elements(TEXT_LOB , TEXT_VC ) in the schema? I don't have those elements in my schema at all. I have tried the opaque option I still get the same Translator NULL error.
Please anyone help....

  • Invoke DB Adapter inside BPEL

    Hi SOA Gurus,
    i am using 11.1.1.5.0
    Requirement is similar to
    Update Employee Sal using Web Service.
    Input Parameters
    EmpNo
    Sal
    If Sal > 10% Orig sal send for APproval.
    To achieve this need to call DB Adapter from BPEL.
    Question is can we directly invoke DB adapter from BPEL  ? or
    Should I invoke  Web Service (Ws-Mediator-DBAdapter)  inside BPEL?
    Appreciate if you can provide solution.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Yes, you can call directly invoke DB Adapter from BPEL, no issues with that.

  • JMS Adapter in BPEL

    Hi,
    I'm fairly new to JMS, but I always thought that communication to and from a JMS message broker (OpenJMS in my case) is standardized. However, when reading the developer docs for BPEL it states that you have to configure OC4J specifically for a particular JMS server. Problem is, OpenJMS is not mentioned.
    Can anybody give any insight into how I can get the BPEL JMS adapter to communicte with OpenJMS?
    Arjan

    I believe you need to be on 10.1.3.3 and above.
    Have a look at metalink note 549016.1
    cheers

    Hi, how are you?
    I did works including a parameter in my scenario and put value in this parameter on call scenario from BPEL. If i remove the parameter on the scenario and the call, its dont works.
    Try include a parameter in your scenario.

    Hi,
    Thanks its working now. I am facing another issue. I do not use parameters in my Scenario. Now when i run my scenario i m getting the following error. I think its because i have not assigned anything to the Variable element. I guess its taking null value for Variable element here and cheking if such a variable exists. Have you come accross such an issue? If so, please sugest remedy.

  • How to invoke WADL files from BPEL?

    Hi,
    I have an urgent requirement of invoking WADL files from BPEL process.
    Can anybody help me on how to do it and provide some documentation on it.

    We had a similar requirement, BPEL calls the stored procedure, it calls the custom job created in Oracle EBS, this job runs the command script

  • Calling ora:processXQuery from bpel with parameters

    I am trying to call ora:processXQuery from bpel with parameters. I am using SOA Suite 11.1.1.7

    xquery version "1.0";
    declare namespace ns4="http://www.example.org";
    let $item := //ns4:P_RELATIONSHIP_TBL
    for $x in $item/P_RELATIONSHIP_TBL_ITEM
        for $y in $x/ns4:P_RELATIONSHIP_TBL_INNER/ns4:P_RELATIONSHIP_TBL_ITEM_INNER
        where $x/ns4:OBJECT_ID = $OBJ_ID_VAR and $y/ns4:OBJECT_ID=$OBJ_ID_INNER_VAR
            return <objectVersion>{ $y/ns4:OBJECT_VERSION_NUMBER }</objectVersion>
    but ora:processXQuery dosen't accept more than two arguments. Is there any work around?

    Create a specific xml schema for your xquery as a input and pass that. Extract the required values from xml in your xquery.

  • Esb parallel processing problems with jms adapter and bpel

    Hi,
    I have esb project which dequeues from a jms adapter and then the esb router calls a bpel process. This bpel process takes about 10 seconds. The first step this bpel does is to return true ( to the client) to the esb router so the ESB thinks he is ready. This does not work.
    Now if I use in the esb router asyn routing rule to the bpel ws then the esb dequeus all the messages from the queue. All the esb entries are green. But the esb starts one for one the bpel process and then updates the esb entry with a new start time ( very strange) .
    If I use a sync routing rule then it dequeues and call the bpel process one for one.
    How I can parallel proces the jms messages ,because I have 2 quad cores cpu's . Async routing rules looks like the solution.
    How can the esb detects the bpel is still running even with the first action in bpel is to return true. I expected when the esb retrieves true from the bpel ws it ends the current esb entry and goes on with the next. So the total esb time takes a few seconds and not so long as the last the bpel proces finishes.
    And why is he updating the starting time.
    Thanks Edwin

    Here is something I would like to suggest:
    Can you try ESB -- (sync) --> BPEL, where BPEL process itself is Async. In that case, esb will consume all the messages very fast and BPEL will get that message and put in Delivery Queue and reply back to ESB. Now BPEL will process them simultaniously based Receiver/Worker threads defined in your env.

  • JMS Adapter Config issues with Plan.xml

    Hi All,
    I'm learning how to configure JMS Resources in WLS to use within a JMS adapter in my application. My approach so far has been :
    1. Configure Outbound Connection in JMS Adapter : eis/wls/Queue. I used the weblogic.jms.XAConnectionFactory as the Connection Factory.
    2. Create Queue within SOAJMSModule : jms/MyQueue and target - soa managed server.
    Updated the JMSAdapter.rar deployment and restarted the SOA server as well as the JMS module.
    3. Create JMS Adapter within JDeveloper to use jms/MyQueue as the destination and eis/wls/Queue as the JNDI source.
    On deployment and running, I see this following error. Apologies it is a bit difficult to trawl through. I did have a look in the Plan.xml and it definitely has an entry for this Adapter and the jndi-name. Any other approach?

    Hi JB,
    Please follow the below steps from beginning...
    1. Create the JMS Server in the Admin Console, the target server for the same should be the soa server
    2. create new JMS Module.
    3. Create new Connection factory in resources, give your JNDI names, the target servers should be the admin and the soa.
    4. create new queue, give the JNDI names, the target server should be the JMS Server which you have created in the step 1 above.
    5. Now go to deployments, slect the JMS adapter, click update, and say redeploy with the location of JMS-plan.xml given below...
    6. Now inside the composite while configuring the JMS adapter, select the queue which you have created above.
    If you have followed the abpve steps correctly, you should not face any problem.
    Hope this helps,

  • Invoke secured WS from BPEL

    Hello,
    My problem is:
    I have deployed a composite application where the interface is Web Service with Policy wss_username_token_service_policy. I want to invoke that web service from another composite application through BPEL. In other words invoke secured web service from BPEL.
    I've created Partner Link and added:
    <property name="wsseHeaders">propagate</property>
    <property name="wsseUsername">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="wssePassword">welcome1</property>
    I've read many topics about my problem, even I've done http://soa-howto.blogspot.com/2008/04/invoking-ws-security-compliant-web.html
    but it doesn't work.
    What should I do?
    Here is some code:
    composite.xml
    <reference name="validateIdentifier"
    ui:wsdlLocation="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.interface(execute_ptt)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.endpoint(validateIdentifierWebService/execute_pt)"
    location="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService?WSDL">
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">welcome1</property>
    </binding.ws>
    </reference>
    And here is error from Weblogic EM:

    The service invoked directly through Weblogic 11 EM with WSS username token works correctly. But when it is invoked in BPEL from another Composite - the input for secured service is an output from the first service doesn't work.
    I think something wrong is with properities. I've also added BS username and password.
    Any clues?
    Could you write a SOAP Header for SOAPui?

  • Invoking Secured Services from BPEL - Build scripts

    We are using SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 and JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 for BPEL process development. We are invoking secure web services from BPEL. In order to do this, we have imported the server certificates in the keystore of Oracle SOA Suite. These certificates are also imported into JDev keystore. In DEV environment, I have deployed the BPEL process from JDeveloper and the tested the https web service invocation. It works fine.
    When taking this to PROD environment, we need to provide deployment scripts to the release team. Should the scripts contain any properties specific to SSL configuration? I want the deployment to happen the same way JDeveloper deploys BPEL process by makign use of SSL Certs in its keystore. What is the way to achieve this?
    Thanks

    Hi
    You can deploy BPEL to BPEL process manager using ANT or Jdeveloper . I prefer ANT to deploy to prod.
    Coming to security impmentation, you can use OWSM (Oracle Websevices manager) to assign security key before invoking secured webservice.
    In OWSM follow the brief steps below.
    1. create gateway
    2. create service which points to secured webservice
    3. create pipeline templates with assigning security key , before that import key store to your server
    4. assign above pipeline template to service
    5. now get the URL of service created.
    In Jdev:
    6.In BPEL process create partner link with above Service URL in step5 ( instead of directly pointing to secured webservice from BPEL, go thru OWSM)
    7. use ANT or JDeveloper to deploy BPEL process to Prod.
    Before deploying to PROD you need to above steps 1 to 5 on PROD OWSM
    for more details on OWSM please see following link:
