Hi,
Currently we do have a customized OA page which is being invoked from a quote line page
So its working fine from JTT Quoting Page to --> OA page
BUt now i have developed a new OA page and which is being navigated from existing OA page using pageContext.forwardImmediately
But I am getting error as The application id or shortname (webui) you entered does not exist
I checked with my OA page which is working and it does not have any function name / menu attached but it works fiine but 2nd OA page is failing

Making Page Items Flow on to the Next???
Hi everyone,
My website is going to have products that are sorted
alphabetically from A - Z. Each page will have a total of 10
products. The products towards the beginning will be the ones that
were added most recently. Now, what I want to accomplish is this:
Every time I add a new product I want the last product on
that page to flow on over to the beginning of the next page and the
last product of that page to flow on to the next and so on. This
way every page will have a total of 10 items except the last page
which will have any number lower than 10, when it reaches that mark
l will create a new page for those to flow on over to.
I have no idea how to go about this so if anyone could point
me in the right direction, or even give me a term for what this is
called I would HIGHLY appreciate it. I haven’t created the
site yet but I can tell you that it’s going to be a simple
static site.
P.S. If I haven’t explained what I want to get done
well please tell me.

Issue get resolved. On page, there was one field with Item Style 'MessageLOVInput' and I had not given a source for 'External LOV' to that field.

I've tried to create an LOV. The steps I've taken are as follows:
1. Create a new Business Component (BC)
2. Inside the BC create a new AM
3. Inside the BC create a new VO
4. Attach the VO to the AM
5. Create a new XML (XML_new) in the project
6. Attach the AM to the AM definition
7. Add a results table to the XML_new
8. Change a search field in the old XML (XML_old) to be MessageLOV
9. Attach XML_new to XML_old in the external LOV field
10. Map the fields of the XML_old to the XML_new
I've come up with the following error. Can someone help in telling me what I've done wrong. Much appreciation.

How does one KEEP the gallery widget from moving on a page AFTER you've left the application?
My gallery widgets are NOT stable. I tried locking them, and locking the entire page... no luck. What gives? How can anyone put together a book if the gallery widget (which is crucial to my presentation) is not stable and moves, expands, etc..
I have absolutely no chance to use the gallery widget. Its size changes all the time. It changes when clicking the preview button for iPad, it changes when clsing the document. Pictures are cut all of a sudden, the whole widget moves a few cm.
So every time I close the document or click on preview I have to check the whole document for unwanted changes!! -

Pages can make beautiful document which is very good. However,
1. The words that I type into a cell of a Table inside Pages cannot flow naturally onto the next page, it will disappear at the end and I am very frustrated. I need to create another Table on next page and continue my typing , it is a silly way and it is also hard to edit the document afterwards.
2. I cannot adjust the spacing into 1.5 between lines while typing in a Table, this is the format my University requested.
3. The words in a table just "stick" too close to the left and right side Borders.
4. Apple emphaseses the iWork can compomise with MS office. For pure words doc it is OK. But when there is a transition of a Chart or Table, it messes up !
Since I cannot do the above 1 and 2 with Pages, I need to move back to my old PC. When I finished typing and transfered that Word doc into Pages, again the words at the end of a table after one page all disappeared. Silly!
I have downloaded a latest version of iWork 9.0.4 or 9.1 , the web developer said the issues of Table in iWork were fixed. However, it seems not !
I have check similar questions but I cannot get my answer, If anyone knows the answer, please let me know? I need to hand in my dissertation in one month, and I do not want to waste anymore time on the sofeware issue.

This feature was described many times.
I don't know why you are assuming that text embedded in a cell is supposed to "flow naturally".
The app behave the way it was designed to do and in this design a cell can't cross pages boundaries.

It seems that you missed something because in cells we may adjust line spacing and internal margin as we want.

As far as I know, Apple just write that :
we may open, save, and email Microsoft Word files from within Pages.
we may open, save, and email Microsoft Excel files from within Numbers.
we may open, save, and email Microsoft Powerpoint files from within Keynote.
It doesn't state that every attribute or feature will be kept.

In MVC, do i need a View or Page with flow logic for POPUP window

I have the below scenario using the MVC pattern.
I have a main view with 3 trays, each tray has two buttons, for example first tray has Create Order button. When I click on this button, I need a popup window to come with a tableview and a button(Create), where I select some rows and click on the button Create to create order.
But as per the MVC pattern I canu2019t call the view (popup) from another view(main view). So should I create a VIEW or PAGE WITH FLOW LOGIC for the popup? .
I need 6 popup to be called from the main view and once the function is done close the popup.
Please suggest me the flow for this scenario.

Option2:
Ofcourse you can't bind the model in page becos those are 2 different things. But all you need to do is access the model to get some value. To know how to access the model from Page w/flow logic look at [this link|Passing model reference to a page in a Popup].

Calling a BSP page with flow logic from LAYOUT
Hello all. I am developing a BSP transaction to update HR data on SAP. I initially developed this with one 'page with flow logic' and several 'page fragment's. It has been suggested that I break this out into several pages with flow logic because the code in the 'OnInputProcessing' Event Handler was getting quite complicated. I was using the BSP directive to execute my 'page fragments'. This was very simple to do. What do I replace the BSP directive to call a page fragment with in order to call a page with flow logic. I have included the code below. I have converted the 'body.htm' 'page fragment' to a 'page with flow logic' and I am not sure of the correct way to call the page. I do not have access to the navigation->goto_page( 'body.htm' ) at this point. I am new to BSP and appreciate any help offered.

uhmmm, as it was previously suggested, you should perhaps think about MVC for your development. Working with classes and methods gives you more room for a better looking code. But at this point I´m not sure where your real problem is. You mentioned first that you created one page with logic and several page fragments and then you are worried because the code in the OnInputProcessing event is getting out of control
First, you cannot insert a page in a page. You can only insert fragments in a page with <%@include file="header.htm" %>.
Second, if you don´t have idea of MVC or you don´t want to switch to MVC, then create a modules program (SE38) where you´ll enter your code as subroutines and you call these subroutines from OnInputProcessing as follows:
perform subrout1 in program XXXXXX tables YYYYY using AAAAA.
In your programm XXXXX you declare the code as:
form subrout1 in program XXXXXX tables YYYYY using AAAAA.
This can be a substitute to classes and methods. -
Just update to Pages 5.1 - its dropped the pictures from my old Pages files - 'Some features aren't supported - objects in table cells were removed' - how do I get the pictures back?

I am creating a script to generate automatically a photo catalog; the idea is to prepare a master document with a text frame in the master spread with auto flowing, then insert images with their caption by the script, letting the system create automatically the subsequent pages when necessary by an unique flow of text.
My catalog is divided in sections, each represented by a different master spread; so I have to know in which page I am working when the script put there an image, just to link the current page to the proper master spread.
To simplify everything I have resumed the core of my script here, using text instead of images:

The big problem is: when the first text frame is full and an overflow is generated, a new page with a new text frame belonging to the main text flow (as the master spread wants) is generated; but it seems my script requests the page number before the new page with the new text frame is born, and an error is given.
It seems like the script goes too fast in respect to the creation of the new page.
If I delete the line thisPage = story.insertionPoints[-1].parentTextFrames[0].parentPage.documentOffset; everything is ok.
I tried to introduce a delay until 3 seconds without any effect.
I tried also to show or zoom the new page before the page number request, thinking to force the system to wait until page is really born, also without any effect (by the way, I was not able to show the page during the script's additions of text!).
Someone can help me?

Then you set autosubmit=true for the radio group component and define a value change listener. The value change listener then would do the navigation following the navigation case names determined by the radio settings.
To implement this I suggest to
1. create a hidden command button with its action property pointing to the same managed bean handling the value change event (just double click the button to create the managed bean method)
2. In the value change listener, change the navigation case returned by the action method
3. In the value change listener you call
ActionEvent ae = new ActionEvent( (RichCommandButton)valueChangeEvent.getUIComponent().findComponent("button_id"));

HTMLDB 2.0 brachning to pages, set an item to the calling page
Hello,
I try to setup the issue tracking tool (example aplication of apex 1.6) in the current release 2.0.
A Create/Edit Issue page will be called from several places. When users are finished with the display, they should be returned to the calling page. To do this I followed the instructions in the tutorial of the issue tracking system as descriped but it does not work (Note: I use the instruction for release 1.6 because I can't find a instruction for 2.0 !!).
I did the following steps:
Under Item section:
- - create an item
- - create item name P8_PREVIOUS_PAGE
- - select an region to display this item
- - create item
Under button section
- - create a button
- - select the region for the button
- - choose button name
- - Redirect to URL without submitting page
- - Under URL Redirect section I entered "&P8_PREVIOUS_PAGE." (Without Quotas!!)
- - Apply changes
Under Branching action section:
- - I select the existing After processing Bracnch
- - I entered for Page "&P8_PREVIOUS_PAGE." (Without Quotas!!)
Every time I use the page and move the mousepointer over the created button the following Adress is displayed:
javascript: redirect ('f?p=106:0:1223346474785::NO:::')
- - I know that the value = 106 is my aplication but the value = 0 shuld the Nr. of the previous calling page but it is 0. And so I have a dead-end and get the following error message = Error ERR-1016 Application "106" Page "0" not found (requested language="de").

The Item is Hidden. I assumed that "P8_PREVIOUS_PAGE" get the value by invoking the page 8 from another calling page e.g Page 1.

- - Select from a list entry in Page 1 the Page 8
than the value of "P8_PREVIOUS_PAGE" should be "1" or go I wrong here?
- - Do I have to set up some thing more for the Item? Maby a default value??

through my jspx page I can do all these operations,
but the problem is when I am trying to call a method written in the Backing bean of that page, at that time only the method is not getting the bindings.
Create insert operation is there in the bindings....
