IOS 8 update lost my stats on my game, however the stats are still in Game Center. How to I get the Game Center to update my app?

I've lost my game stats and upgrades because of the IOS8 update. I can see my stats in Game Center , however I've tride signing in and out of Game Center in hope of the information updating in the game app . No such luck . Now Ive never backed up my ipad . What if anything can I do or is this another Apple Bug that has to be fixed by Apple.

You can't. It's now integrated with the URL bar. It's a search/URL combo.

Are you sure it's not 6.1.6? If it is, that is the latest iOS version that will work on a 4th generation iPod Touch. Later versions require a 5G iPod which has twice as much RAM.

.. and by the way, the jump from FCP 6.0.3 to FCP 7.0 (or higher) isn't an "update" It's a full version "upgrade" that has to be done using the install discs (or disc images).

Try typing in your 10 didget cell number. Restart iPhone to get the prompt again.

This was NOT an update, rather a downgrade... the font size in text messages is now smaller and difficult to read. I have tried changing font size in settings and it does not apply to text messages. There is another problem which may be related. My desktop computer at work is running Windows 7, and I was recently upgraded to Office 2013. Outlook is not showing contacts on my computer any more, just in iCloud. I would say that you would want to look into the "Exchange Mode" for GMail. That would allow your iPhone to sync calendars, contacts and email with GMail just fine. Doing the same with your outlook should also then sync those same with your PC using Outlook. I've done teh iPhone side of this, but I since I don't run Lookout for my email client, I'm not sure how that will work on the PC side.

I've tried holding the power button and home buttons down for ten seconds, then letting go of the power button, but keeping the home button down for another 10 seconds. I've also tried Reiboot, Wondershare Dr. Fone in desperation to try to get the phone out of this mode. Nothing seems to fix it.

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You will have to rerip the CDs unless you can find a copy.
When you restore or update an iPod, if synced media is not in the iTunes library it will not be on the iPod after the restore/update since the backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

After my update to version 4, the back button now only seems to store the last page I was on rather than the last 10 like it used to before the update. I've scoured the options menu to no avail. How can I get the back button working like it used to?

The back button used to work many times before it would reach the end of its list of pages I had been to recently and became greyed out, but now it will only work once before this happens. Also, the list of pages that pops up when I right click it now only has two entries no matter how many pages I've visited on that tab, the page I am currently on and the page I most recently left. It sounds like you may have a 2nd generation iPod Touch, in which case 4.2.1 is the highest possible iOS. Please check the model number on the back, A1288 is 2nd generation.
