Ipad 2 is not that old, you wont let us have tethering?

Is it really that hard to give us function to share internet or just tethering with usb? even iphone4 support personal hotspot, ipad 2 who share same cpu would able to do it fine but you want us to buy THE NEW IPAD that badly? i even use ipad2 about a year.
For my iphone only have small data plan just for playing whatsapp or communication app, the one that need tethering now is ipad. It got the most data plan.
And now when i want to use laptop i have to take ipad sim out and stick it to iphone just for kicks and cannot receive any call during internet use, this *****. My ipad sim tray gonna loose.
Okay, still there is an option. Buy THE NEW IPAD for personal hotspot!!
Yeah, hope iOS6 support it for ipad2 (just usb mode is ok) else I better use 3rd Party app like MyWi instead of throwing this ipad2 even i hate the idea of JB but Apple left us no other choice.

Even i leave feedback they will never mention, I have try it before then there is nothing even confirmation email that feedback is received.
If there are a lot of people asking for it, Maybe.
I don't know why, they know people have to JB for this function (MyWi) and they still not impliment it. Thus they say don't like people to JB.
They don't want people to JB then if it not that hard thing to do, just do it.

As long as you don't need all the bells and whistles of the iTunes Store such as Ping, and don't need to sync an iOS device running iOS 4.x, then iTunes 9.2.1 should work for you. It should be available via Software Update, but if not, you can still get it here:

but it would be best to upgrade your Mac to Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6, since it's probable that eventually the iTunes Store will no longer support iTunes 9.x.

Do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

YouTube and it's app is always evolving. What used to work may no longer work, not necessarily because of the app itself or the device itself but possibly because of certain protocols that are required when accessing YouTube. I had the same situation happen on an iPad 3 running an older iOS version along with an older version of the YouTube app. My ultimate solution was to update the app but that also required updating the iOS as well.
if you are on iPad 1, that may no longer be possible since the maximum iOS for that model is iOS 5.1.1. If your iOS is already at that version and the YouTube app is also maximized, then you're out of luck using the official YouTube app. With the iPad 1, you'll be running into incompatibility issues more and more as iOS advances and apps advance...while the iPad 1 is stuck.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. At startup hold down the Command+Option/Alt+r keys until you see a globe on the screen. Then use disk utility to partition and format the drive HSF+ and then select Reinstall Mac OS X. whatever version of OS X that originally came on your system will be installed and then you can upgrade back to Mavericks.

Crizzo is right, the best way to charge is with the included power block. That said, the USB cords are interchangable as far as an of us know. (just not power bricks, iPhone and iPod bricks put out 5W of power, the iPad wants 10W and will always say 'not charging' if plugged into less power than it requires even though it will charge, just very slowly)
If you have tried to charge your iPad - with the iPad charger - with multiple cables and multiple computers and get no joy then it's time to head to the apple store and have them check it out. ASk your friend who unlock the phone for him/her.
ONly the carrier that the phone is locked to is authorized to unlock it.
bAse on your description, it sounds like your friend had his/her phone hacked to unlock it from the original carrier.

Try putting it into recovery mode.
Connect iPad to your computer via USB while it's turned on.
Open iTunes
Hold the iPad's Sleep/Wake switch (power button on the top of the iPad) down until the "power off" slider appears.
Power off the iPad completely (wait for the progress spinner to disappear).
Hold the Sleep/Wake switch AND the Home button down for a full 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds (the second time you'll see the Apple logo on the screen) release the Sleep/Wake switch while still holding the Home button.
Continue to hold the Home button for another 10 seconds until the USB connection image appears on the iPad's screen, then release the Home button.
A pop-up message will appear on iTunes saying it has detected an iPad in recovery mode, you must restore...
Click on the "Restore" button and the process will begin.
