Video problem help quickly please

i've downloaded a video and it doesn't work on my 5th gen iPod but i also downloaded a programe that converts videos that don't work on ipod to files that works on iPod like mp4 and mov stuff like that but the video i've downloaded is not a format that even the converter can understand it's (Windows Media(TM)Video file) if any body knows a programe that can convert it to iPod format help quickly PLEEEAASSSEEE

i've tried Videora but it's converts to avs and this format doesn't work on iPod can anyone find another programe also does anyone knows good dvd movies converter so i can watch my DVDs on my iPod ?

Start-up issue HELP ME PLEASE! ASAP

At start up computer goes to blue screen that says:
Esc=boot menu> F1=Setup>F10=system recovery>
Than immediately goes to a black screen that says:
Reboot and select proper Boot device
Or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_
I pressed f1 n looked to see if a hardware was detected n in second channel device 1: it says WDC WD800BBect. So I'm assuming it detects a hardware. Idk I saw that on up website I'm confused n not computer programmer need assistance asap. Please help me

Here is what I would do if I were you:
I have seen one or two of these types of errors get resolved by ...
- unplugging the power cord
,-pressing the power button on the pc for 5 seconds while the computer is already off
- opening the case and unplugging the hard drive power and IDE/SATA cables
- Reconnecting power and turning it on and wait for an error to appear.
- turn off
-unplug power cord
- reconnect cables to the hard drive
- reconnect power
- turn on and hope for the best.
- if it magically works again, replace side panel... make sure to create a set of recovery discs.
More than likely though, you will either need to reformat the hard drive (if you can access it) or replace it. Either way, if you want to keep your computer and you need to restore/replace the hard drive - you will need HP recovery discs to get the original software build on the PC. Alternatively, you could install a fresh operating system that meets its minimum system requirements.

Ok, I really need help, I work on my new iPad 3 a lot, and my contacts mean a lot to me, but today I opened up my contacts and found names and numbers that i had never seen before in my life, then I opened up the photo stream and realised some girls Random Pictures had turned up...I don't want anything to do with this other persons information. And I don't want them having the ability to access mine, as it is important and private... Why is this happening, why is someone else information merging onto my device, I need immediate help as I'm loosing valuable time. Many thanks.

Go to settings>icloud, and make sure its your account there and not someone elses, and if possible go to icloud.com on a COMPUTER not the device and log in with your apple id, if you feel your account has been jeopardized please call in the apple support line and ask to speak with a iOS Senior advisor

Font Rendering Issues-Help Required Please

In the past week, any Google search on Firefox or Chrome (but not Opera) gives me results where the fonts look gappy. Sometimes there are additional dots above the letters. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from scratch in case an add-on was at fault but even with a clean install I am still seeing the issue. I checked my font settings and do not have any minimum font size set. I have allow pages to choose their own font ticked.
I've uploaded an image where I can see some correctly rendered text and some gappy looking text (not from a Google search but a Mozilla query). It also happens when commenting online sometimes, during typing it will be gappy but it will show properly once submitted. Any ideas for a fix would be warmly welcomed and I can give more examples if that would help. Although it's not Firefox related, I did restore all defaults in Chrome and it didn't fix the issue there either.
I uninstalled the most recent Windows Update since the problem is recent but it didn't change anything. I'm not sure if browsers would even look to my computers fonts.

one option may be to [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/remove-update#1TC=windows-vista roll-back this particular update] for now until there is a fix by microsoft or you could also look if there is a [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL|graphics driver update]] available on the website of the vendor (intel/amd/nvidia) which might also resolve this problem in some cases.

R7950 TF 3GD5/OC BE ISSUES HELP ME PLEASE

I have two of these cards, one worked fine no worries at all. Would run max at games on 70 no issue at all, added another today and it cuts out at 67degrees, now i ran a test individually as the crossfire wasnt working.
The new card seemed to be the issue it cut out at 67, i went back to my old card and now that does exactly the same
1 old card worked fine
2 added new card and xfire wouldnt run past 67 degrees
3 removed old card and tried only new card, wouldnt get past 67 degrees
4 tried old card and that wont get past 67 degrees now
CANT PLAY any games at all. HELP :(
running a test on GPUZ it works fine running on 100% or 95% stress test as its not getting over 67 degrees
GPU temp 65
VRAM 1 65
VRAM 2 68
GPU LOAD 96%

CPU doesnt get over 47 degrees in full use.
As for the PSU worked fine yesterday if its broken its developed a fault since adding an MSI card

Help Quickly Please: System Preferences Stuck Between Spaces!

Please help me people. My system preferences window is stuck between my spaces. I can't chang any setting on my mac now because of this. I'm hoping that I can get help for free from the apple community instead of paying someone who might not be able to fix it! Even when I quit system preferences and restart it still appears there. I even tried restarting my macbook but its still not working!

You probably wouldn't have to do an erase and install but rather an Archive and Install. Try booting from your install disk first.
Insert the installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger and later) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
If that doesn't help, try deleting this file. com.apple.windowserver.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac.

Warranty for MSI GTX570 - need help quickly please!

Hi. I have MSI GTX570 OC. I just bought Accelero Xtereme Plus cooler, and I plan to remove reference cooler and put this aftermarket one. But I heard that removing the cooler would void my warranty. I hope that is not right. So I need quick response on that question, because I want to put it on my card ASAP.
So, dear MSI users, or administrators, please tell me if my warranty would still be valid if I change the cooler - but of course without damaging the card in any way

Nope, from screwdriver you have to push it really hard to make sings over the screws.
If you're gentle they are unscrewed very easy.

The card itself has 2 elements, entire cooling system and graphic card pcb itself.
The warantee sticker is over the msi's coolling system, if you try to dissassmeble msi's cooler this will void warantee.
Also even if they know that cooler has been removed, for reapply TIM for example,
they still can accept it if there is no physical damages over it.
However, at the end its down to msi or reseller itself, will they accept your card or not.
But if warantee sticker is instact and there is no any physical damages over the card,
normally they will accept it

So i was useing my ipod last night and really happy with finally putting everyone of my cds on there 4000 songs took 6 months to get on there But anyway,so i ejected my ipod like im supposto,and went into my menu and EVERYTHING was gone songs n albums,so i plugged it back into my Pc trying not to tweek and it read the 12.72Gb out of 60 leaving me with the 42.96 gb Free but not one song shows up in the ipods list,and i dont know why or what i did wrong or anything can you help me i want my 4000 Songs back I dont have ne of my songs in my iTunes at all or on my pc they were all on da pod ,This is really Iupsetting,and Ifrusterating,and by the way im INew...Thanks for ur Ihelp.

I'm not exactly sure where to post the following, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place!
So I helped my sister order an iBook and an iPod nano thinking the nano qualified for the Free iPod promotion. Anyways, it's not qualified so I want to cancel it.
So here's where I'm unsure about some stuff:
After I realized it wasn't part of the promotion, I went to my order status (my sister's actually, I made her an account) to try to cancel the nano. There was no button to review or change it.
I noticed the status of the iBook said 'shipped' and the nano was 'processing order'. I'm guessing there was no change/review button because the iBook was shipped already? The Apple Customer Service closed and the order status on the nano changed to 'preparing shipment'.
Ok, so, I'm gonna need to call Apple Customer Service in the morning and would like to know:
What are my chances of being able to cancel it? By the way, the nano needs to be custom engraved so I'm hoping I can get it canceled before it does. Also, do you think I will be able to change the nano to the mini and still qualify for the promotion?
Oh, one more thing: I am calling on behalf of my sister, so am I still able to cancel it for her? I do have all of the neccessary information.
Any replies would help! the anxiety is getting to me!

I ordered an iBook with extra 20Gb and an engraved iPod on 4th September. From the second after I ordered it until it was "shipped" the tracking system said it was "processing order". It was "shipped" 4 days later on 8th September. There was no in between such as "sent to manufacturing" or anything like that and believe me I was checking every hour of every day almost!! The tracking showed that my iBook was ready before my iPod and was shipped on its own to Europe without the iPod. The iPod significantly held the order up (I'm assuming it was cos it was engraved) so chances are you can still cancel it. Only thing is, even if you can cancel it, you may not qualify for the £100 rebate unless you can get them to actually change it to an iPod mini as you have to have them both appear on the same invoice in order to qualify. So if they say you can cancel it and then suggest you place another order for the mini separately that will be no good.
My book and pod eventually arrives on 19 Sep, 15 days after I placed the order in case you're interested.

My hotmail was working properly until one month ago , then I do not what happens ... My mistake has been to cancel that account and try to re-load it... I am blocked at "unable to verify account details".
