I dont know what to do???????

    Not Charge
    - See:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
    - Try another cable.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Nano wont charge or connect with USB but will with firewire.

My nano has been acting CRAZY. When I hook it up to the firewire charger it charges, but of course it wont sync. It holds the charge fine. If I hook it up with the normal charger it does NOTHING. It wont charge or connect to iTunes. What did I do? Also, I use the same cable to do my iPhone. It worked great for both. Then it quit for the nano.

    Well,
You probably didn't have iTunes open (if that's where it syncs from).
If that' right, then when you want to charge or sync from your iPod, make sure iTunes is open.
This should help, but if you already did this, I'm sorry. I have no advice.

Downloaded latest IOS 7.0.2 and it crashed my iphone 4. Now Ive got nothing and it wont restore when connected with Itunes cos Error Message 4005 comes up. Cant find it listed anywhere. Help

    Hi!
It looks like there might be some security settings or software on your laptop that's preventing the restore process from working.
Check out this article in Apple's support. It shows you the steps you can take to try to get around error 1611.
Like diesel vdub said, a DFU-mode restore might give you success where a regular restore might not, so maybe you can try that.
What you need to do is put your phone into DFU mode, which is a low-level mode that helps the restore process get a little more done, or it can help iTunes get around certain roadblocks (hopefully like the one you're experiencing!). Your computer will install special DFU-iPhone drivers for it, and then iTunes will see it as a phone that needs restoring.
To get your phone into DFU mode:
Plug your phone into your laptop.
    Turn the phone off.
Press and hold the power/lock button. Keep it held in, even after the display turns on and you see something on the screen. As soon as you see something on the screen, start holding the home button as well as the power button, so that they're being pressed together.
Keep both buttons pressed down for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds, release the power button, but keep holding home until the laptop sees a new USB device. Once you see that, you're in DFU mode, and you can let go of buttons. Your iPhone screen will be blank during it all, even though it's actually on, in DFU mode.
    Now your restore should work!
If your phone shows the Apple logo or anything else while you're trying to get it into DFU mode, then something went wrong. Try the steps again. If it suddenly starts up normally again, try reducing the time to a bit less than 10 seconds--try reducing it by about a second at a time. It should work!

My iPod Touch 4th Generation will not charge or connect to Itunes.

First try resetting the iPod.  If Itunes ee s the iPod restore the iPod
Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make the iPod visiabe so you can restore it.  For recovery mode see:

But I think that you have bigger issues than that. Did you try leaving it on the charger for an hour or two and see if you get anything at all?

  • HT4060 My ipad mini wont charge I bought a new charger since the old one didn't charge my ipad and the same problem is happening i charged it over night and when I woke up it said 50% soo can someone help me this is my first apple product a

Well my ipad mini isn't charging.. I with the original charger it didn't show the charging sign when plugged in.. And I bought a new one a 12:00 one from bath bed and beyond. Now it ain't charging again even thought it did a few days ago.. Now I don't know what to do.. I don't wanna keep buying chargers..

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.htmlhttp://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

  • I have an Ipad 2. My wife has an Ipad mini. When we connect to Itunes it installs all the apps from one Ipad on to the other. I unchecked the box to automatically update apps, but Itunes still does so. How do I prevent Itunes from intalling apps?

I have an Ipad 2. My wife has an Ipad mini. When we plug in to Itunes (at different times) it synchs the apps from one Ipad on to the other. We don't want this. I have uncheked the box for Automatically synch apps, but it still does this.
How do I get Itues to see each Ipad as a separate item, and not try to keep them "equal" as far as apps installed?

Remove the apps from iTunes with your device connected. You can basically deselect the apps that you don't want on each device. We have three IOS devices on one AppleID and they don't all have the same apps.

  • IPad won't charge or connect to iTunes

I've had my iPad for nearly 8months now and up until now it has worked perfectly.
This morning I tried to connect my iPad to my iMac (10.5.8) so that I could sync it with iTunes however the iPad was totally unresponsive. The home screen (that normally lights up when connected) stayed blank and the device did not show up in iTunes.
I've been browsing the discussions all morning and trying various things out but nothing has worked so short of travelling to my nearest Apple shop for help I'm really stuck.
    Here is a list of what I've already tried;
    1. Uninstalled and re-installed latest version of iTunes.
    2. Connected my iPhone 4 (using the same usb, cable etc) and synced that with iTunes without any problems
    3. Reset the default settings on the iPad.
    4. Restarted iPad and iMac numerous times.
    5. Cold re-booted the iPad (holding the home button and power button until the Apple logo appears).
    6. Checked that battery on iPad is over 50% (its actually at 95%).
Hoping someone here can help ... I haven't tried restoring the iPad because if it still won't let me connect to iTunes i wont be able to re-install the backup.

I would have them check out the USB port on the iPad. If you cannot get it to connect with multiple computers and multiple cables, the only thing left is the connector port on the iPad itself.
Try an apple store or call them and see if you can send it in to be repaired/replaced.

  • Ipad mini wont charge when on

I won this iPad mini at school and it was brand new however the charger that came with it aloud me to charge while using it at the same time although after a while the charger wasn't abled to charge while using it so I bought another one which worked fine for a few weeks then after that broken no other charger that I bought would allow me to charge it while using it only asleep and I've bought at least 8 cords and 3 different wall ports but if I plug the charger in while its asleep it turns it on so I know the charger is working so it could be my ipad so what do I do? I only plug it into the wall never computer but I am able to plug it to my computer and put new music on it so that works too only I cant charge it  while using it because the battery drains

Are you charging it from a wall charger or from USB attached to a computer? Apple cable and/or charger? There have been some reports of iOS7 causing issues with some, uh, "questionably spec'd" 3rd party charging accessories.

  • Iphone 4 wont charge or connect to itunes

    Hi,
I tried to charge my phone last night but got a message saying this accessory does not support charging. I was using the original charger but everything i done would not let the phone charge. I have tried different USB cables and plugs and get the same message.
My phone battery has now died and i can't get the phone to charge. This means it won't connect to itunes and i cant force it in to DFU mode or restore.
Is there anything i can do to get it working again?
    Thanks

    Try the article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
Sometimes people accidently delete programs such as "Bonjour" or "Apple mobile device support" by accident without realizing they are vital to iTunes, if this article does not help you, try giving apple a call if you are within your ninety days of complementary phone support.

  • IPhone wont charge or connect to itunes, needs hard reset

Last night at dinner I knocked over my glass of milk into my lap, soaking my pocket where my iPhone was. I cleaned it off and everything worked fine. However, whenever i tried to charge it the iPhone would repeatedly connect and discconect to the charger, back and forth for a few seconds until it'd say it was charging. It never gained any charge, and after 3-4 minutes it would connect and disconnect again. I looked it up online and I found a post describing my situation perfectly. They fixed the problem by performing a hard reset. The problem I have, is that my iPhone is out of batteries and it won't respond to a hard reset. It also won't connect to iTunes on my mac, so I can't reset it from there. What can I do to fix this?

Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

  • NANO wont show up/connect with Itunes when plugged in!!!

I am trying to change some of my music on my nano and when I go to plug it in... it doesn't show up in Itunes. I recently purchased the iphone and when I plug that into the computer I "CAN" see it... and do updates, etc. Ever since I have been using my iphone with itunes, I am not able to change anything or "see" my nano on the itunes main page. Please help!

I'm having exactly the same problem. And iTunes keeps jumping into the foreground/ launching when it's docked. I want the data from my last and fastest workout in the Nike+ from it-- butI can't even restore the iPod since iTunes won't read it (despite Finder mounting it).
