IPad new Software for Mail?
How can I chance the software "Mail" for my iPad? It shows me part of them in German (that's ok) and in Englisch, "Trash" (instead of Papierkorb) and "Sent" (instead of Gesendete Mails), so I can't delete my Mails, because the programm ist probably looking for "Papierkorb" or "Gesendete Mails". Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

The Music app is ridiculously messed up ... if you use it enough, you will come across these issues which can only be addressed by an iOS update. -

I manged to get all my updates downlaoded and on my server, i have currently enabled 133 of 400 updates.
I have changed my snow leopard machine to point to the internal update server
But then after a while of checking this displays software Update doesn't have any new software for your computer at this time
Which is a Lie, because i know there are updates on the server that the computer needs to have.
Any Ideas

You already have all the free updates that are pertinent to Snow Leopard. Software Update only finds and installs free updates to your Apple software — it doesn't do anything with upgrades that must be purchased, like Lion. If you were to purchase and install Lion, Software Update would then find and offer to install all the free updates that are applicable to Lion. -

I have a pop up saying new software for Iphone available;however when I try to downlaod it says"you are not connected to the internet"
I am connected so I ran diagnostics which verifies my Network Interface but Internet Connection Failed as did secure link to Itunes store.
In addition whenever I go into Itunes after a few seconds my AOL home page keeps popping up.
As you see my ISP is AOL and my connection is through a Netgear wifi router.
Please advise appropriate action

News update software, it is information that came out of the new software for the Nokia N79 version of "30,011." Why is it not available to update via the Nokia Software Updater????
release of firmware updates depends on Nokia and on network operators. if you have a generic, unbranded phone then it will ome very soon to be released for your product code. if you have a branded handset however (i.e. with your operator's logos/animations all over the firmware), then this will take longer or may not come at all. since your operator has the choice whether to release the firmware with their own customisations to the customers, or not.

Like a fool I tried to download the new software for my 3GS. Now oI can't get the dam thing activated. I'm in Portugal but my phone originates from the UK. Help.
I actually interpreted this as a carrier lock issue. If that is the case the OP needs to contact the UK carrier who owns the rights to lock the iPhone. Only that carrier can unlock it.
Was the iPhone unlocked by means of jailbreak software? If that is the case, then the reply from Phil McCafrey would apply to this as well. -

i have submit my request since 6 hours, is that normal??from what i hear, it takes a minimum of 72 hours before you hear back from Apple.
but because there are a lot of people are wanting to get their free upgrades, it might take even longer now.
