IPad software version downgrade
Please any ideas how to downgrade my iPad 2 software versions from 5.0 to 4.3 as the 5.0 is not compatible with the application code I just completed on my Xcode 4.3.

Itunes no longer works on ipad on version 6 software
My I tunes 10.6.1 no longer works with my upgraded software ipad 2 on version 6 stating my mac needs a higher operating system (currently on 10.5.8) to then upgrade I tunes 10.7. I can no longer use my ipad with itunes simply because I have an older mac operating system. An upgrade on the mac operating system is a lot of money . There is no roll back of ipad software from 6 to the original to cure this
The upgrade to the Mac is around $30.00 if it is still available. You need to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 - I think that's the latest SL version.

For Lion you'll get a redemptions code via e-mail and need to DL from the Mac Apple Store (requires SL 10.6.6+).

You are as far as you can be with the original iPad; only iPad 2 and greater will update to 7+

You shouldn't lose anything at all under normal circumstances, but you should be proactive and backup your iPad with iCloud (if you use iCloud only) or if you use iTunes, transfer purchases, backup and sync before you update your device.

I just update my ipad 1 to software version 4.3.3. I am not able to use any apps on my ipad now. What do i do ??
You could close all your apps on the taskbar and then try a reset.
To close apps completely, from your homescreen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar; press and hold one of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds so that they start to shake; press the '-' symbol in the top left corner to close each app; touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try restoring from your backup. -
my ipad is version 5.1.1 gen 3 ipad , says software update available , when i accept click update download it gos about 1 minute then throws out a message An error occurred downloading 7.0.2 what should i do, so i hit reset no i have lost all , i cant even find my wifi its going from bad to worse please advise

You will have to re enter the Wi-Fi password.

Trying to upgrade iPad software to newest version. It downloads but stops while backing up and says not enough space on hard drive to back up if i continue all media on iPad will be lostor deleted. Can I get it back after upgrade by just synching or can I set it to backup to an external drive? Thanks for any help. I only use the laptop for itunes now as it has such little space left.
I would recommend deleting contents off your hard-drive to make space (how much is left..you should be having 15% free as a general practice) and backing up the phone prior to upgrading.

I can´t downloand the last version of the ipad software?? It takes like 4 hours? could be that long. After a while it just shuts down.
iOS 4.3.5 is nearly 600 meg, so if you're on a slow connection it will take a while to download. If you're getting a network timeout then try temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software whilst the update is downloading.
