IPad won't Bluetooth connect to previously connected device

I had my ipad connected to a Panasonic surround sound.  I had recently connected a keyboard as well.  I clicked forget this device to the Panasonic surround sound.  Ever since I have been unable to find the device on my list.  I disconnected the keyboard.  I restarted both the surround sound and iPad.  It won't show back up?  The surround sound is in discoverable mode.  Bluetooth is turned on on the iPad....... You can connect multiple bluetooth devices, like a keyboard and headphones. However, not two that use audio. That's because the audio channel over A2DP can only play to one device at a time.  Its a limitation of the audio feed via bluetooth - there is no split or simultaneous feed to multiple devices.  A2DP is a uni-directional 2 channel (ie. stereo) audio feed only.

  • 7th gen Nano won't autoconnect to a previous connected device

I have paired my Nano 7th gen to 4 different devices so pairing is no problem, but normally, like on my iPhone, it should autoconnect when I come back in range. Instead I have to go back into settings and tell it to connect to the device. Then it does and everything is fine, but I don't understand why it doesn't auto-connect to previously paired devices.

I have spent HOURS trying to get my stuff to show on Nike+.  I spent an hour on the phone with Nike, and another hour with Apple, who told me to contact Nike again.  Then I saw up2105's respnse up above and it clicked.....I, too, had been using the WALK option, because I'm trying to get back into shape and I'm not yet up to running 100% of my workout.  And WALK does not show up in Nike+.
I don't even know why WALK is an option, if it won't sync with Nike+.  And why did their techs not mention this to me at the very beginning????  What about older folks who don't run anymore....are their workouts not worthy of charting on Nike+?  Anyway....thank you up2105!!!

iPad won't Bluetooth with iPhone 4s

    Hi kalidongnv,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
These troubleshooting steps can help if your iPad won't pair with your bluetooth speaker:
Check that you are in range of the Bluetooth device with which you are trying to pair your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Most Bluetooth devices have a range of approximately 30 feet.
On your iOS device, tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your device in the list. If your device says Not Connected, tap the name of your device to attempt to connect it.
Tap Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power.
    Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Bluetooth and locate the Bluetooth accessory you are currently connected to or attempting to connect to. Then tap and Forget this Device. Try to pair your Bluetooth accessory again.
Note: You may need to re-enter your Bluetooth accessory PIN if your accessory requires one. Some common PINs are 0000, 1111, and 1234.
Restart your Bluetooth accessory by turning it off and then on again1.
Update your device to the latest version of software. See how to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If your Bluetooth accessory has upgradeable firmware, check to see that you have the latest version1, 2.

  • IPad won't turn off, returns to Connect to iTunes screen

My iPad constantly shows the Connect to iTunes screen. Okay, something's wrong, although I have no idea why . But I won't be near my computer for a few days. I'd like to turn off the iPad until I can, as it asks, Connect to iTunes. But the iPad2 with recently updated software won't turn off.
If I hold just the power button for 6 seconds, the screen goes black. Good, I think, it's turned off. Then 4 seconds later the Apple logo appears and then the iPad shows Connect to iTunes.
If I hold both the power and Home buttons for 10 seconds, the screen goes black and then immediately the Apple logo appears and returns to Connect to iTunes.
How can I get the iPad to turn off and stop burning that image into the screen? Do I just wait for the battery to die?

Got the same problem with my Ipad2.  Went do to the update late last night and it seems like the update quit half-way through the install.
Now all i get is the screen telling me to plug in the USB cable and connect to itunes.

  • IPad won't activate there's no connection to the apple server.

I have done restarts, complete shutdowns and a restore. Since the restore my device doesn't recognize iCloud or any of my apps. The message is iPad does not support these. I have iOS 5.1.1

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.
    See if iCloud is restored.

  • IPad won't bluetooth pair with Mac mini

I would like to use Mobile Mouse by RPA Tech on my IPad mini  to control my Mac mini running OS X  10.6.8.  It would be my preference to use a Bluetooth PAN instead of WiFi,   I say this because Bluetooth peripherals seem to auto-connect better than Wifi, might be my imagination.  Anyway, I can't get my iPad to pair with the Mac.  The Mac sends a code, the iPad asks if I want to pair, then the pairing comes back as unsuccessful.  Any ideas?

It is not designed to. The ipad will not even connect with it with air drop. You can only pair a mouse or keyboard.

  • IPad won't access website it previously accessed

I just bought a ipad for university, last night I accessed the course website without problem. The website requires login upon entering, today I am having problems because the page will not load. I have cleared my cache, cookies, history and tried to remedy the problem. I also tried to use the Dolphin HD browser to open the website and had no luck.
The website I am trying to access is www.sob.bcit.ca/rickk/secure/   or  www.sob.bcit.ca/mktg3344/

Try completely shutting down your Safari app, double click the home button to open the multi-task window then hold your finger on the app until it starts to wiggle and a red minus sign show up in the left corner tap the red minus sign to close it.  They try to login.

Steps 1-3 are correct and were on.
I have done many resets and just did another.

You need to go to the App stores and find compatible apps. iOS device do not natively have to ability to transfer info to a computer via BT to a computer.
With iOS 8 you can use AirDrop

  • Why iPad 2 and iPhone 4s won't Bluetooth connect to D200 Creative speaker?

My MacBook can connect fine using Lion, bit both iPad and iPhone running iOS 5.1.1 won't connect to the speaker device. I tried to reset and pair multiple times with no luck. Anyone else able to get this to work or possibly have the same problem?

I still have no WiFi nor do I have Bluetooth capabilities on my iPhone 4S. I Tried to do a system restore and it's exactly the same as before. Could Apple please expedite an update to solve this WiFi issue? Maybe go back to how you had the WiFi working in iOS7??? It's cutting into my limited data plan and I'd appreciate it if I could use the product I paid for and not feel like I'm being scammed out of it for lack of a better term.

  • IPad won't connect to my bluetooth headset

My iPad used to connect to the headset, however.  I believe it stopped two updates ago.
I purchased a Retro phone headset from Thinkgeek:
    http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/cellphone/8928/
I have a VOIP app on my iPad for use over WiFi.
I have a digital line VOIP service.  I wanted to use my iPad as, basically, my business phone.
But now the iPad won't see my device.  Both my Macbook Pros do, my iPhone does, my old Palm Pre did, my PC does, my wife's iPod touch does.
I've read somewhere that restoring the iPad can wipe the device profiles.  Did that, no dice.  Still won't connect.
The Retro headset identifies itself as an H680, and Motorola makes an H680.
Anyone have any experience with this?

And before someone says "It uses HFP and iPad doesn't support that," I did get it paired and working not long ago.
I'd rather not have to buy an iPad 2 for this.

  • Ipad won't stay connected to personal hotspot

ipad mini has issues staying connected to hot spot on iphone 5. i've tried a laptop computer and it stays conected with no issues. When Ipad screen shuts off so does the connection which is fine, but when you turp ipad screen on it won't connect without turning on/off hotspot on iphone5. Any suggestions welcome.

    Hello Dcampdr,
It sounds like you are unable to stay connected to your iPhones personal hotspot. I recommend these steps from the following article to help troubleshoot the Wi-Fi connection:
iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
    Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
    Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Wi-Fi disconnects or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
    recently used Bluetooth accessories
    VPN and APN settings
If the issue persists, I would next try the troubleshooting in the following article for the iPhone Hotspot connection, even though it works fine with another device:

  • HT201210 I have loaded IOS 6 but when it says I have just a few more steps to complete and asks me to sign in with my apple id, it says it cannot connect to server.   Now my ipad won't function at all and it is completely stuck even after turning it off a

I was having trouble purchasing candy crush updates (for no apparent reason, as it has been fine previously).   I thought perhpas I needed to download some new software and promptly started the IOS 6 update.   It installed and then asked me to complete the final few steps by signing in with my apple id.   When I try to do that it says "it cannot connect to the server".   I have tried turing it off and on and over riding it, but it won't let me do anything at all now on my ipad mini.
Can anyone help?   I literally can't function!!!!

You can't override it no matter what you do. The device has to connect to the server to complete the iOS update. You could try rebooting the iPad and see if that lets you connect to the server after it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that will not work, you can try connecting to iTunes on your computer and see if the activation will complete. Sometimes when thes activation issues arise, you end up having to restore the device again, but first things first. Reboot and see what happens.

  • My iPad won't connect to my iPad mini.  The speaker works fine on my MacBook Air.  Help!

    Help!
I've been trying to get my Sony SRS-BT5 bluetooth speaker to connect to my iPad mini and the iPad won't recognize it.  It doesn't show up on the list of devices when bluetooth is searching.  I've tried restarting both devices dozens of times.  I've tried it normally, when they are charging, and when they are fully charged.  I've tried it with the NFC turned on and turned off.  I've searched Sony's site and can't find any troubleshooting information.  Although, because the speaker works just fine with my MacBook Air, I think it's a problem with my iPad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Although it might not help, it would not hurt to reset the iPad by holding the home and power keys down until the Apple logo appears (15-20 sec).
