IPhone 3G S & Motorola HT820 Stereo Headphones

I'm trying to get a general feel for anyone who might be using the Bluetooth headphones in the subject line along with their 3G S. I've ordered a set of the headphones off Ebay (and worst-case scenario, if they wind up not being to my liking, I'm only out $30), and I'm picking up my 3G S in a couple nights. Has anyone used these with their 3G S, and if so, do you have anything good/bad to say about it? Ease of pairing? Music quality (and I'm not an audiophile; if I can hear the music with the same approximate quality as the earbuds would provide, or perhaps a $40 set of over-the-ear store-boughts, I'm just fine)?

I also am having great difficulty keeping the ear buds on the headset that comes with the iPhone in my ears. I saw some headsets made for the iPod that advertised they would not slip out of a person's ears (even came with two sizes of buds) and wondered if they would work. I thought they would not allow me to answer the phone using the headset, and that it would be a hassle to have to unplug the headset to answer calls, so I didn't make the purchase.
Hopefully, Apple will come out with an alternative headset for the iPhone that has better ear buds.

As far as I know you can't. Like me you will have to wait until Apple releases an update to its Bluetooth stack unless a third party produces the goods. This is one area where the Windows world is ahead. It probably not only needs the additions to the protocol stack but some support may be required in the firmware of the Bluetooth controller as well.

I am guessing but I think that this is how it is and that the ipod connects to perhaps a wireless keyboard or headphones but not other bluetooth devices such as my other non apple mobile phones? I was going to transfer photos across etc
Yes that is correct. See this Apple support document to view which iPod models support what kinds of Bluetooth profiles.

HiSense stereo headphones drive iphone 4 crazy after 4.21 update

Hi! iphone 4 with ios 4.1 - no problem using hisense stereo headphones, especially with the nike application. After the 4.21 update, I can't pair with the iphone. What's worse, just turning on the headphones near the iphone cause the iphone to enter an endless cycle of 'bluetooth on- bluetooth off'! What a disaster! Help

My phone & computer completely froze when trying to do this update - not even 1/4 of the way through. (I left it for hours thinking it was just slow) I couldn't get it off the computer screen and my phone was stuck as well - eventually I had to restart the computer and then the phone showed the icons of the USB plug & Itunes on the screen, so when itunes loaded it said my phone was now in Recovery Mode and needed to be restored!!! Well I tried restoring it TWICE - and it wouldn't install past that 1/4 mark (where the update froze) - the second attempt I got an error message that itunes encountered an error and could not continue... but they'd let me know if they find a solution to the problem. GREAT. Now I have no phone at all.
PS - I did a whole clear out on the computer of the files, caches, etc. - Even ran a malware scan - restarted, installed the new itunes 10 - everything I could possibly think of to get my stuff up and running again. Unfortunately so far nothing seems to work. Anyone else get this???

IPhone Stereo Headphone

This is my 1st Apple product. I didn't like the headphone which is coming with the iPhone box. It does not fit inside the ear correctly or rigidly & the audio quality is very poor. I can’t feel the Baas effect at all. Someone felt the same? Suggest me a compatible stereo headphone which is compatible with iPhone and the audio quality will be superb.
Does Apple have an alternative compatible stereo headphone with microphone, whose audio quality will be brilliant? Suggest me one.

Problem in using the microphone in a Motorola HT820

I'm trying to use the microphone in a Motorola HT820 bluetooth headset/headphones. It works well when I use just headphones, so I don't have any problem when I listen. However, when I use Skype or audio recording applications, the microphone doesn't work at all. When I set up audio, if I choose HT820 microphone as an input device, an error message comes up which says "Bluetooth audio failed. There was an error connecting to your headset. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted."
HT820 works well (both headphones and microphone) with my iPhone but the microphone doesn't work at all on my iMac.
Anyone who knows how to solve this problem? Any comment will be greatly appreciated.

E71 problem with BT stereo headphones

I have got a E71 and I have a problem with the BT stereo headphones (Model Clip IIs of I-TECH I have some time with other phones and I have never given any problem) I use to listen to MP3s on my SD, and the fact that at some point the sound begins to 'stutter', that is no longer playing but continues to sobs, the sound comes and goes ... it does not always but sometimes, and sometimes no But often jumps out the problem and I have to close the player, wait a while 'and then restart it. Given that the first thing I did was upgrade to the latest version noBrand FW 110.07.127 RM-436 09/10/2008, but has not resolved ...

I think this is due to the phone's CPU getting overloaded by having to recompress the audio stream for A2DP (the BT profile used for stereo). Avoid running any other apps when you're listening to music and see what happens.

I don't think Apple makes anything aside from the usual "aux" cables discussed above, but I've had good luck with a Motorola T505. It's a small device that you clip on your car's visor. It pairs to the iPhone via Bluetooth, then transmits the output to an open FM frequency that you tune in on your car stereo. So you can play music from your phone thru the car stereo, and it automatically pauses when you get an incoming call, you can carry on your phone conversation hands-free, then the music will resume once your call is completed. It's pretty neat.

It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over.

Short answer is you probably cannot. Once water gets inside the device and it is powered on, the damage likely is permanant.

If you haven't tried it yet, I'd eliminate memory issues first. Close all of the apps with the double tap on the home button method
