Iphone 4 gets no reception. Restore it?

So today I accidentaly dropped my iphone 4 in snow. I immediately shut it off but just now I needed to make an emergency call so I had to turn it on and to my surprise everything worked fine... except for reception. The top simply says 'searching' and wont change. The phone tells me to do a restore on itunes but will this actually work or is the logic board most likely fried? Thank you all so very much for the help.

can anyone help  please?
