Iphone 4s was completely powerless. On charge now, but screen is showing itunes logo with power adapter. Won't respond to anything else. Even tried rebooting and restarting. Comes back on with same thing on the screen
My iphone 4s needed recharging, the battery was completely dead. Recharging now bit all thats come on the screen is the itunes logo showing a power adapter. I've tried rebooting and switching off and on. Still showing the same thing. Will not respond to any other actions
if its showing the connect to itunes screen(itunes logo and power cord) then that means your phone needs to be restored. you'll need to hook it up to your computer and restore it thorugh itunes.

You will probably need to restore using Recovery Mode. You can read about it here.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad. -

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
I have an iphone 3GS, I went to back it up / update apps through my itunes. I did this, but a certain app I download wouldn't work on my phone as "my iphone software needed updating". So I did, now I can't restore & my phone shows itunes logo with plug?

Iphone while getting On showing itunes logo with usb connection
Dear Sir,
I was upaditng my iphone 4s for from IOS 5.1.1 to IOS 6.1.2 by connecting with a personnel hotspot wifi connection. While doing this my iphone got switch OFF and then automatically got ON and the showing " Itunes logo with usb connection with up arrow".
Also i tried to switch OFF and ON 2 to 3 times but still showing same.
Can you please assist me , what i have to do now, to get my Iphone ON as normal like before.

my iphone 4s was linked to itunes on my home laptop for backups and syncing. at work yesterday i updated itunes to 11 and later on i plugged in my phone to listen to music and my phone registered to work computer and when i plugged into my home laptop it will not reconise it for backups etc, how do i get my phone to register back to my laptop.

Make sure there's nothing blocking a contact in the charging port of the phone.

Your only option is to connect your iPhone to your computer via USB (as the diagram indicates) and restore using iTunes.
