Iphone 5 assistance

I'm having multiple issues with my iPhone 5. Issue one-it will not sync playlists anymore. Issue two-when connected to Windows 8 computer, it deletes half of the apps. Issue three-when connected to the computer, it cannot find certain apps. I've tried restoring and doing a hard reset to no avail. It is completely updated, any help appreciated.

I run both Mac and a PC and have iTunes on both, which has previously recognised my iPhone. I had updated my Mac with the new iTunes software with iCloud and updated my iPad2 just yesterday. I then wanted to do the same with my iPhone today, but my Mac wouldn't recognise the device so I tried it on my PC, which recognised the phone but told me I needed to update my iTunes and this in turn wanted to update my iPhone software. After completing all this and restarting, my iPhone now shows the iTunes icon with the USB plug pointing towards it, obviously wanting me to plug it in to my computer to re-connect with iTunes, but now neither of my computers recognise my iPhone and my PC states an 'Unknown Device'. My Mac doesn't even see it. Can anyone help as I really need to get my phone working?? Thanks

Hold down the Home and Power button for 20 seconds. And try to update again.

Can't air print from 5510 from ipad 2 or iphone 4s but can wirelessly from imac

I have just purchased a new HP Photosmart 5510 e-aio printer B111a. I can print via Wi-Fi from my iMac, but not via the same Wi-Fi from my iPad2, iPhone 4S or wife's iPhone 4. All products have latest OS and firmware and are running on same Wi-Fi. I have tried rebooting Router, printer and apple devices. Any ideas.

Itunes wont read my iphone but will read my ipod nano?

Neither me or my wife can get our iphones to show up on Itunes, but my ipod nano shows up just fine. I went through all of the troubleshooting process and still nothing. Can someone help, i have a 3gs and my wife a 3g.

I'm having the same problem. My iPod Classic syncs up with iTunes and charges fine, but when I plug in my wife's iPhone 3G (may be 3GS) it doesn't do anything; it doesn't charge, it doesn't mount, it doesn't show up anywhere. There's no response to either my iMac or her iPhone, as if it isn't plugged in at all.
I've tried different cords, different ports, restarted the computer, restarted the phone... ugh...
I'm using iTunes 10.4.1, Mac OS 10.6.8... I've gone through the Troubleshooting Assistant at http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/itunes/
The iPhone is charged... never had a problem before; synced it previously with no issues.

I followed the step by step instructions in this archived support article:

If the issue remains, try these steps:
Disconnect the device and quit iTunes.
In the Finder, locate iTunes in the Applications folder and drag it to the Trash. (This will not remove any of your iTunes media or your iTunes library.)
Choose Go > Go to Folder. Enter the following location into the text field that appears:
/System/Library/Extensions
Click Go.
Locate the file "AppleMobileDevice.kext" and drag it to the Trash.
Restart the Mac.
In Finder, click the Go menu and then choose Go to Folder. Enter the following location into the text field that appears:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks
Click Go.
Locate the folder "MobileDevice.framework" and drag it to the Trash.
In Finder, click the Go menu and then choose Go to Folder. Enter the following location into the text field that appears:
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons
Click Go.
Locate the file "com.apple.usbmuxd.plist~orig" and drag it to the trash. (Do not move the similarly named "com.apple.usbmuxd.plist" file to the Trash.)
Restart the Mac.
Download iTunes and reinstall it. Test to see if the issue persists. Then, restart your Mac a final time to confirm issue is still resolved.

My laptop can detect my printer wirelessly but my iPhone cannot. I did the wireless and e-Print settings
And the printer printed a wireless network test results and it shows that every thing is ok.

Not sure what else to tell you. Here is Apple's troubleshooting steps for AirPrint: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/airprint/, but I think we've been through these. You may have to contact HP tech support to see if they have any suggestions.

When I try to connect my iphone to itunes it will not work, but when I connect an ipod it will. This is telling me something is wrong with my phone I am jsut not sure what that is. Can someone help me.

I was trying to update my music last night. But itunes told me it needed to be updates first. So I updated itunes, and my phone. But now when I connect my phone using the usb. It will not connect to itunes, all that comes up is a phone icon on my desk top(which doesn't allow me to do anything with) But when I connect an ipod it does connect to itune and I am abble to look at how much room is left, and the option to restore ect) . SO this tells me something is wrong with my phone it self. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

I have an I phone 5 I have tried putting music on and it's not showing on my music app but in iTunes it shows the music has been transferred to the phone.

I suggest a few things for this situation.Steps 1, 3, and 5, from the iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant, found here specifically http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/#section_1.
If you get to step 3 then I recommend closing ALL the apps. Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

I don't know why it stopped working but it happened a month or two ago but the option on this phone that's usually all the way to the left when you select your device but now its not and I don't know what caused it. ive already tried troubleshooting my problem but have found no help.

Just last night when I was trying to listen to some of my songs they wouldn't play on the iphone or itunes on my computer. What can I do?

I've purchased some songs from the itune store a while back and they played fine on my iphone and my computer. Just last night I tried listening to a playlist I created and some of the songs wouldn't play. They wouldn't work in itunes on the computer or the iphone. I tried deleting the songs from my phone and re-syncing them and it didn't work. I've not tried resetting the phone completely. Not sure what I should do now. Those songs cost a bit a money and I've tried already to access the cloud to see if they were there. What should I do??

If nothing helps, you need to contact Verizon for information for an exchange or refund. This is a user to user forum, not Apple.
Apple's policy for a refund or exchange is within 14 days of purchase. Verizon's policy may be different.
Definitely try restoring .. hopefully you won't have to go through the hassle of an exchange.

New iPhone 5 will not connect to sync

I have a new iPhone 5 I got a couple days ago and it will not connect to sync in my car. I have a Ford Fusion 2012, and I had a 3GS that I used with it, and it worked perfectly for the few months I've had the car. I've tried everything with my iPhone 5 but it will not connect. It doesn't even ask me to put in the PIN. Sync shows the PIN and then I click on sync on my phone and it just sits there for a minute until eventually it says to make sure sync is on, in range and ready to pair. Any suggestions?

IPhone 5 not being recognized in iTunes (Mac). I have the latest Software update for iTunes, my iPhone, and my Mac. I have gone through the iTunes connectivity troubleshooting, no luck. Any suggestions/solutions?

The reason I found this problem is that I did a complete reset of my iPhone, so it reset all the content, through settings on the phone. That ended up deleting the ringtones I had. I tried searching up the same tones, however you can't "Install" already purchased stuff like you can in the AppStore.
I can't "iTunes wifi-sync" because you need to have connected at least once to the computer before you can wifi-sync, but because I reset my phone, it doesn't "remember" it once synced with my Mac cause I reset it.
I have gone through the "iTunes connectivity troubleshooting", nothing worked.

My iPhone charges fine with the USB-Wall outlet adapter, so its not the lightning connector or the USB connector on the other end of the cord.
All the USB ports on my Mac are functionning (working with other cords for printers, etc.), but still the iPhone persists not to be recognized in iTunes.
So I am guessing iTunes is the problem.
Any Help, Solutions, Suggestions, would be appreciated.

IPhone 4 voice/data connection issues?

I've had my iPhone 4 for around 6 months now. Lately I've been dropping a lot of out-going calls and have had some issues receiving calls in the last few days. Today I've had 3 voice mail notifications from people who have tried to call me and could not get through. It rings through to voicemail and sends me a notification after they're done recording. I have anywhere from 2 to 4 service bars, usually averaging at 3 in this location.
On top of the voice and call issues, I've been having problems with GPS and location services lately, too. I use the Waze app for directions. My phone will register 3G data signal, but none of the apps that use GPS can find any location. I have Location Service turned on in settings and have no problem starting my routes when I have wifi signal at home before I leave.
