I bought iPhone 3GS(Used) recently and updated ios 6.1.3 my iPhone is taking blurry Pictures through basic default Cam app.Can anybody please let me know any solution for this?

Basic troubleshooting steps right out of the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.  If you've been through ALL the steps and you still have the problem, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

Could you please describe how you are trying to delete a single text message and it will not work? What are you seeing in place of the trash can icon?

What to do about blurry pictures for iPhone 3gs?

Use "tap to focus" feature for the iPhone. Just tap and hold the area on the screen that you want focused. Since the 3GS is not as a good camera taker as newer iPhones, be sure to hold the phone very still. That should do the trick, just a little patience, and physical integrity

  • My iPhone 5 is taking blurry pictures.

My iPhone is taking grainy and blurry pictures the majority of the time. It is quite disappointing since I have used a 4s that I think takes much better pictures.

To restore, go to Settings > Settings > Rest > Erase All Content and Settings.
When it starts up again the Setup Assistant will give you an option to restore from your backup.
Here is a doc on it:

  • Why is my iPhone shooting blurry pictures

My iphone 5 just started to give me blurry pictures. Has the software changed as I have made no changes to the settings and the phone has not been dropped or damaged. It seems the autofocus is not working properly.

    Hi Widgeon13,
If you are having issues with your camera’s image quality such as you mention, you may want to start troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
    Specifically -
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • IPhone 4S pictures always blurry

My wifes iPhone 4S has recently started taking very blurry pictures when they are further than a foot away from the phone.  When you look at the screen it doesn't seem to focus on the subject.  This is very annoying as we have a baby and would like some clear pics to possibly frame in the future.
I have restored the phone which hasn't worked and also cleaned the lens and checked for scratches which there are none.
Does anyone have a solution to this very annoying issue, I feel it may have come about from a recent software update.

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the iPhone's backup, this has nothing to do with the recent iOS update. This means there is a hardware problem.

  • IPhone Contact Pictures Fully Explained

    Hello Guys,
Just wanted to explain fully how the iPhone contact pictures work and why some are large and some are small etc.
In the very beginning if you added a picture to a contact on the IPHONE when you made a call it would show up as a LARGE image. If you added the picture via the Mac contacts app, when you called it would be a small image in the top right corner.
Then what happened if you added a HD/large in data size image to a contact in the mac app, it would show in your iPhone (during a call) as a large image. This was because there was enough picture data to show the larger size.
Now we come to Yosemite and iOS8........
In iOS8 if you now view a contact on the iPhone and actually finger tap the contact picture it actually opens up the full image in the screen. This didn't happen before.
Before if you tapped the picture nothing would happen.......now you can view the image and save it to the camera roll if you wish........
Now.....in Yosemite if you add a picture on the Mac this is where is gets interesting....... It doesn't matter on the actually data size of the image. It could be 40kb or 4mb. What makes the difference between large and small when calling is the HEIGHT of the image.
If you resize ANY image to 960px, when calling it will show the image as blurry LARGE!!
If you make the image 959px or less in height it will show the image as small top right.
So you have have a 5mb image thats 959px high and it will show as a small image when calling.......
I hope that clears everything up for you guys!

    ckent007,
What version of the iPhone software are you using?
Are you saving the contact pictures (by tapping done in the edit contact screen) before you go to the home screen and use another application?
    Hope this helps,
    Jennifer B.

  • Iphone4s takes blurry pictures

my iphone can't seem to focus. it takes blurry pictures everytime i try to make it focus on anything. I just got it yesterday, and it was brand new. It was also having a very odd vibrate sound, it almost sounded loose as if the vibrate is going to fall out of the phone. it's so odd though because i got the phone brand new. does anyone know what could have caused this?
    here is a pic.

Cleaning it with a cloth doesn't help. If I enter camera mode and point the camera at my hand at the bottom it'll be perfectly clear and as I move my hand upward it enters the fuzzy zone where it's just a blur..... Something's messed up.... I don't know if it's water in there or what, but it's been like that for a month.

  • Managing photo storage on my iPhone/iPhoto/Pictures/External Hard-drive

Hello, I need some help with managing photo storage on my iPhone/iPhoto/Pictures/External Hard-drive.
    Background:
I have 1,200 photos/videos on my iPhone 4S on the camera roll and need to delete them to save space. Most are photos/videos of my new baby which I would be devastated to lose, so I want to be 110% sure that I have them backed up properly and accessible.
I frequently hook my iPhone up to iPhoto to download all of the latest photos to iPhoto.
I have done Time Machine back ups and just did a latest one yesterday.
I would like to save my camera roll into a folder on my hard-drive so that all of these photos are in one place in case I need to access them (and not spread across different folders like in iPhoto).
My Mac (Macbook Pro - circa 2009) is now telling me that my 'Starter Disc is nearly full' and won't save all of the photos from my camera roll.
    My questions;
Are photos stored both in iPhoto and Pictures folder, and if so are they duplicates?
I've heard that Time Machine only backs up full libraries and so cannot be used to access individual photos - is this true? If so, how do you access individual photos/files from my external hard-drive?
How and where should I delete older photos from to save space on my Mac - iPhoto or Pictures? (once I know how to access them from my external drive if needed).
How do I delete all of my photos from my iPhone camera roll in one go? - I can only see a way to delete the 1,200 of them individually.
Going forward where is the best place for me to synch/upload my photos for medium term storage/access on my Mac?
I would consider myself quite intelligent but when it comes to this topic, I'm happy to be spoken to in very simplistic terms!
    Thank you.

Import the photos to iPhoto - then select the photos in iPhoto and export (file menu ==> export) to the desired location

  • Blurry picture on second monitor with MB Pro 13"

My wife has a brand new MB Pro 13". When we attach an external monitor to it (with a digital DVI cable), we have the following problem: When the computer's lid is closed, everything is fine, the picture is crisp. However, when we open the lid and both displays are turned on, the picture on the second monitor gets slightly blurred.
When I do the same setup with my 15" MB Pro, both computers have a crisp picture.

A blurry picture means that the resolution is incorrect. Go to the Display preference pane and make sure that the two monitors have the native resolution set properly. If the two monitors have different native resolutions, one will always be blurry in mirrored mode. If the displays are not mirrored, it's possible that one will reset to the wrong resolution on opening/closing the lid.

  • My iphone facetime picture of me, is foggy ~ anyone know how I might fix this? Thank you in advance

    Hi there,
For some reason, my iphone facetime picture of myself is foggy ~ tried resetting it and powering off but no change. Anyone know how I might resolve this? Thank you in advance!

You have to go into iCloud.com, and on the home page there's your name and picture on the top right, click on your name, a box opens, hover over your pic and the edit function appears. Pic a picture and save it. It does work, I've just changed mine
