IPhone Connection Error

I get the following when logging into SAP on the iPhone.
Connection Failed
The request timed out. (-1001)
I tried using the 8080 port as well as 8443 port as mentioned in the thread below
Re: iPhone Connection Problem to Laptop B1i
Please help
Thanks,
Krishnan

I solved this by connecting my iphone to the office VPN.
I thought my notebook was connected to the wireless network and that the pc and the iphone were on the same network.
But the notebook was actually hard wired to the network.
Once I connected to the VPN the addon connected without problems.

    What's this all about?
I was 18th in line in Melbourne, Australia, now I want to get my music and podcasts onto it, help please.

I have had reasonable success with the AppleCare phone service in the past. They replaced an iPod that was giving me trouble. Service was very quick. Might be worth a try before making a trip.
    Here is the contact info.
To get technical support over the phone, please call 0870 876 0753 (UK) or 1850 946 191 (Ireland). Lines are open Monday-Friday 0800-1945 and Saturday 1000-1745. If your product is within its 90-day complimentary support period or covered by an AppleCare Protection Plan, you will not have to pay for the support. Otherwise, you may purchase per-incident support for £35 (UK) or €49 (Ireland).
    Good luck.

  • Error message "iPhone Connection Error OxE00065"  iCloud? what does this mean?

I believe this may be an iCloud related problem but would appreciate any help in deciphering this error message and resolving.

    Hi there,
This occurs when iTunes attempts to wirelessly connect, and then sync with your iPhone. To stop this, head into iTunes, and under the summary tab of your device, uncheck the 'sync over wi-fi' option.
Or, you can just keep iTunes closed.
The error is nothing to be concerned about.

  • IPhone connection errors

Why is my iPhone 5 not connecting to android phones via Bluetooth?

This is an update to my original post...
I was able to install iTune 10.5 finally, but Apple Mobile Device Support will still not install (update actually). I restored my PC to an earlier state (before I first tried to install 10.5 the first time) and now my older version will not start since my iTunes library has been upgraded to the 10.5 format. I am really stuck here. I really want to get me music back since I have nearly 30 Gbs of music and movies I have burned from CDs. That does not even include my iTunes online purchases that I can easily revover/re-download.

  • IPhone 3G 2.1 connection error with iTunes 8 on Windows Vista Enterprise

I was previously able to connect my iphone with my work computer (Windows Vista Enterprise) and it would recognize my phone. However, since I updated my iphone to version 2.1, it will not recognize the phone and gives me the following error message:
"iTunes could not connect to the iphone because an unknown error occured (0xE8000024)."
I am able to connect my phone with version 2.1 to my home computer running Windows XP SP2.
Any idea what may be causing the connection error in Windows Vista?

    Hey TranceCadet,
This could be caused by a USB connection issue.
Make sure the iPhone is directly connected to a high speed USB port on the PC and not plugged into a hub, monitor, or keyboard. Disconnect any other USB devices, other than the keyboard and mouse.

You may also want to disable or reconfigure any security software. This article will walk you through putting the PC in a selective startup mode, which will bypass most application conflicts.

    any ideas? thx

I get the same error (although in Dutch ;-)).
It also says something like (I'm translating): "Make sure your network settings are correct and your networkconnection is active or try again later." Is there a way to find out these "correct networksettings"?
I now get it for a week, eacht time I connect my iPhone to itunes...

  • TS3988 I can log into my iCloud account on my iphone but when I try to log in on my pc I keep getting a connection error message.  Any ideas?

I can log into my iCloud account on my iphone but when I try to log in on my pc I keep getting a connection error message.  Any ideas?

Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

  • I keep getting network connections error when downloading update for iPhone 4. Any suggestions?

I keep getting network connections error when downloading update for iPhone 4. Any suggestions?

I think I solved the problem by initiating the update in a different way, from the itunes panel where I can click to start the update, instead of saying yes when asked if I want to update when itunes launches in response to the iphone being plugged into the computer.

I have the iphone 4 and i'm trying to update it but it keeps saying that there is a connection error. I have Windows and Itunes version 10.5.1. Please Help

If you're getting a network connection timeout error when downloading the iPhone's iOS update, then try temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.

  • Have PC, Iphone and Ipad. IPhone synchs but IPad sync generates "could not connect to Iphone 0xE8000065" error (not Ipad!)

I have a PC, Iphone and Ipad. The IPhone synchs but an IPad sync generates a "could not connect to Iphone 0xE8000065" error!
It thinks I am syncing the Iphone again as opposed to the Ipad.
I rebooted both but Apple failed to sync the Ipad again.
    Thoughts?

I have been syncning fine until this so I was relcutant to believe anyhting need to be changed.
Howver I control - alt - deleted to get MS task manager and then disabled all Apple processes and then rebooted. I also renamed "Ipad" as Ipad1.
Not sure then which if either was responsible for the cure but it is now working.
Why do Microsoft and Apple find it so difficult to play together?
