IPhone Notes transfer from Outlook

I have moved contact and calendar data to iPhone/iPad but am having trouble moving Outlook Notes or DejaOffice Memos to Notes on iPhone/iPad.  Help, I have so many Notes and want to move to iPhone format.

i went to one of the related threads and found the answer.  I had to go into Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendar and turn off Notes for all Accounts where Notes appeared.  Once this was done, I could attach my phone to iTunes on my PC and see the Sync Notes with Outlook option under the Info tab of my iPhone.  Then I could sync the Notes from Outlook into Notes on my iPhone.  Now that they are in there, I can go back and enable iCloud sync for Notes and it will update my other Apple devices.  Now iPhone will be my master going forward.

  • When my husband set up my 2gmail accounts and hit get messages, all of my gmail did not transfer from Outlook to thunderbird

I have 2 gmail accounts- one in Outlook 2007 and one I access from gmail directly. The messages from gmail transfered fine. The messages on Outlook did not. Today, I went through and deleted many of the old email messages on both accounts, emptied the trash, restarted the computer, open ed thunderbird and hit "get messages". All the old messages are still present. How do I sync the messages to update? How to I get the messages on Outlook?

You could set up Thunderbird on the old computer and transfer the files to that, then copy them to the new computer.

  • Music will not transfer from Mac (OSX 10.9.3) to iPhone via cloud

Music will not transfer from my Mac (OSX 10.9.3) to my iPhone except for music purchased through iTunes. Hard sync doesn't seems to work as I use iCloud. Suggestions?

Only music purchased from the iTunes store is available to download from iCloud unless you subscribe to iTunes Match.  Also, you can sync music using iTunes on you Mac even if you are using iCloud for syncing your contacts, calendars and other data.

    Regular or smart?
You may need to remove any references to Podcasts, e.g. use "Playlist is Music" instead of "Podcast is false".

  • Iphone not removing reoccuring Outlook Calender events! ARGH

    Help.
I've been syncing my iphone with my Outlook 2003 calendar all the time for months. I had a couple of re-occuring events that happened every week, those events have since expired, but the iphone g3 still thinks they are there and beeps at the event.
I checked the iphone calendar, and they are NOT there!? ***. I went back and deleted the entire event from my outlook, resynced, and the stupid ihpone still beeps and reminds me.
How do I delete this, it's obviously a bug in iphone.
    Thanks!!!

    Hello Erwination,
You can try resetting the sync history on your computer, thereby replacing the calendar data on the iPhone with a "fresh" copy of your Outlook data, by following the steps in this article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692
Note: the Advanced settings in iTunes mentioned in the article will replace the calendar data on the iPhone with that from Outlook, so you will want to sync any events that are present on the iPhone but not in Outlook beforehand by syncing via iTunes.
If there are still calendar issues, you may want to follow the rest of the article as well as trying the steps here:

  • Some records not transfer from ODS to infocube

    Hello BW folks ,
We have an ODS which stores the various sales doc. types.
We are transfering all the data from this ODS to infocube. We do not have any routine or filter conditions while loading data from ODS to infocube.
In the update rules of infocube we do not have any routine written .
Also no start routine is present in Infocube.
The data is loaded successfully from ODS to infocube.
But still a particular 'sales doc type' is not transfer from ODS to infocube.
While this 'sales doc type' is present in ODS.
The Sales doc type is maintained with respect to the Ordernumber. So If I check the Ordernumber of that sales doc type in ODS then the same Order Number is not present in infocube.
Means some / few Ordernumbers also getting deleted while transfering data from ODS to infocube.
We do not have any object in update rules as master data attribute of.
Please suggest me what to do in this case.
    Amol.

    hello VC,
I have checked that in ODS update rules , for key figures we have update type as Addition and the data from ODS to infocube is INIT and then delta.
Is this the reason for Overwritting the particular sales doc type ?
I thing we should do full upload only from ODS to infocube in this case.
    Regards,
    Amol.

  • Export 7 months' worth of notes/comments from Outlook 2013 Calendar Events?

Upon start-up, before we got our CRM suite installed, one of our sales reps was keeping all his call notes and comments in Outlook's Calendar Appointment boxes. Now we want to get those seven months' worth of notes exported from Outlook
as text so we can import them into our CRM. I can't figure out how to get those 200+ notes exported from Outlook...a little help?

They are in the calendar notes field? What format do you need them in and did you try File, Open & Export to bring up the export wizard?

  • TS4003 Now have iCloud mail. But the 'Sent' folder messages (only) did not transfer from MobileMe Mail

Now have iCloud mail. But the 'Sent' folder messages (only) did not transfer from MobileMe Mail.

Your first theory may be correct.
If you haven't already, change your password on your .mac account. That will stop any further action by the other fellow. Even if you can't tease out the detail of what happened exactly, you can at least fix the problem with the password change.
Also if you left on good terms, contact the new owner of the workMac and ask if s/he used your .mac account.

  • Deleted email from my iphone it does not delete from Outlook 2007

My friend has an iphone 3GS and when she deletes email from the phone it does not delete from her Outlook 2007 account. She has to manually delete it.  Outlook2007 is setup to permanantely delete from the server.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Tell your friend to get an IMAP or Exchange mail account. From what you describe, your friend has a POP account, and that's the way POP accounts work.

  • Business emails in Inbox deleted on Iphone also delete from Outlook Inbox on Computer

There are numerous discussions regarding the deletion of emails from Outlook on the computer when they are deleted from the iphone, mine being a 4s.  I have two email accounts set up on my iphone.  One setup in Other for my personal domain email account and the other is setup through Exchange for my business email that interacts with my Server.  True there is an Advanced setting for my personal email account but there is not an Advanced setting for my business email.  I have tried setting the Synch setting for my business email account on the iphone to 2 weeks.  Unfortunately the Push setting defaults to the Inbox and you cannot uncheck Inbox on the iphone.
There is no setting for my business email to tell it not to delete from the iphone.  I have actually had my iphone next to me deleted the email from my business Inbox on my iphone and watched it also delete from my Inbox in Outlook on the computer.
What do we do to stop business emails from being deleted in the Outlook Inbox when deleting them from the iphone?  Please advise of the correct settings and how to get to it when there is a business email set up on the iphone that is on an Exchange Server that when the email in the inbox on the iphone is deleted that it doesn't delete from the Inbox in Outlook on the computer.
    Thanks.

It is possible with a Blackberry due to RIM's dedicated email delivery service. The Blackberry's email client does not communicate direct with the Exchange Server with an Exchange account or direct with the incoming mail server with any email account.
It is not possible with an email client that communicates direct with the Exchange Server such as with the iPhone's email client, with the Android email client, and with the Windows mobile email client. This is possible with the Blackberry's email client and dedicated email delivery service only which is going out of business unless RIM ends up being purchased by another company.

  • Recurring Appointments not syncing from Outlook

My Iphone picks up the initial appointment from Outlook but not any of the reoccurences. Any ideas?

When you go into the iPhone appointment, does it say repeat? Try creating a recurring appointment on the iPhone, and sync to see if it comes over to Outlook. Then compare that appointment with the other recurring appointments you already have in Outlook to see if you notice any differences.

  • Contact categories [transfer from outlook]

i am a recent switcher from windows xp and office 2003. (i sure hope i wont regret this - while i love the design, my main goal was to spent LESS time figuring out and fixing the computer. not true so far, but still hope so in long run.) Now i want to transfer my contacts to the mac addressbook. it seems it does not contain anything like categories from outlook. i use them to send different mailing lists announcing seminars, even in different locations and languages. i have about 1500 contacts, so its not feasible to do something one by one.
please someone give advice how i can transfer my contacts in such a way that something meaningful happens to the assigned categories. each contact may belong to one or more categories. i would be glad to spend some bucks on a program, if it does the job.
    thanks a lot,
    eberhard

You can't, Apples Contacts app does not support categories.

  • How can I delete a podcast thats only on my iPhone, not synced from iTunes.

I have two podcast episodes that will not delete from my iPhone. They are from a show that I update (by syncing) everyday and appear on the iPhone (since October) but will not erase or appear on iTunes. Can I delete them straight from the iPhone or do I need to connect it with iTunes to delete? It is more of a nuisance than anything else. Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can delete from iphone:
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_iOS4_UserGuide.pdf
It is covered in the manual.
    Page 172:
"Delete a podcast: In the Podcasts list in iPod, swipe left or right over the podcast, then
    tap Delete. "
