Iphoto-journals (my friends doesn't have an access to see the journal i'm sending to them - why is that?

when my friend is trying to open an invitation to see my journal from his PC - only thing he can see is "you don't have an access to see the journal. Who exactly can see my journals? To whom I can send the links and to whom i can't -?

I am not sure about your question because I don´t know what you have exactly done - but I try to explain.
If you publish a journal to iCloud then you have 2 sections. The first is publish (includes invite and view in Safari) and the second is on homepage / website (also includes invite and open in Safari). The big difference is that booth invite buttons generate two different links (invite yourself with a email to your account and compare the links) !
Let´s say you have a public journal - then you select publish and also on homepage / website.
Let´s say you have a private journal - then you select publish alone (without on homepage / website).
Now it is on you whom you send which link. The error message comes up if someone opens the link from the invite email of section 2 (for public journals) and you have only journals which are not on your website / homepage.

Sure-glad to help you. You will not lose any data by changing synching to MacBook Pro from imac. You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro
you should be able to sync your phone on your new MacBook Pro. Don't know if you can move the older backups yet-maybe try someone else, anyways,

don't forget to de-authorize your iMac if you don't want to play purchased stuff there
and re-authorize your new macBook Pro
time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff.

I have same issue in my MB Air with Snow Leopard. It used to work fine but one day I found that the mic mute was locked on. I went to System and ensured mic was working by seeing the bars move. I went to Facetime > Video drop down and it is all greyed out so not active and the mic symbol in Facetime pane has a line through it (muted) and is dead. I have tried everythinng to UNmute the mic. Two way video is fine and I can hear the other party perfectly. Seems like this happened about the time of a Snow Leopard update but may be wrong. Issue is several months old and, well, getting old! I love Facetime with my grandkids etc. who all use Apple stuff. There HAS to be a way to reactivate the mic in my MB Air. Could someone please help??

You'll need to provide some more information .... what current mac mini do you have? Click on the apple in the left corner of the menu bar, click about this mac, and what does it say for processor, memory, and os x version?
When you say you have no DVD, do you have the mac mini server or is the DVD broken?
You can't do anything with 10.6 Snow Leopard on a PowerPC mini, however, if it is an Intel-based mini, you could probably hook up the systems in target disk mode to install 10.6.

I understand that when activating the zoneset the differneces are shown, however if there are other changes made how can the difference b/n ru & start be viewed in GUI (FM)

Set the bookmarks to be unsorted, or maybe "sort by added". Use the Views menu in the toolbar in the bookmarks Library window.

Is your Time Capsule being used for your TimeMachine back up? Or is it simply being used as an external hard drive?
