IPM SDK Developer Help?

Hi, I'm doing development with the SDK and I am having trouble executing an Ad-Hoc through code.
I am using C#.net, and am mainly using the Stellent.IBPM.Interop.Imaging object model.
I can authenticate and login to the server just fine with "userToken.LoginCurrentUser();"
But when it comes to actually executing a query "connection.ExecuteQuery(sqlSelect, RecordsetManagement.rsmUnmanaged, 1);"
I get the following Exception:

I have the Oracle IPM Client Installed and have administrative rights to the oracle client, server box, oracle service, and sql server.
Are there any IPM developers out there that have a solution to this problem?

Check your select, from, and where clauses very carfully. You must supply the complete name for all fields used. Don't just use "BATCHID" use "LinkServer.Instance.Schema.Table.BATCHID".

I had the same problem and mailed SAP support, they suggested I try a download manager like <a href="http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com">Internet Download Manager</a> they have a free trial version.

OPA developer Help

Hi all,
I have gone through the OPA developer help. However, the help seems to be incomplete and leads you nowhere. Many of the concepts are not elaborated. For example, if you see the creating custom screen section, it says that a valid response object is to be returned.But its not clear what a valid response object is meant by? Similarly, others sections also lacks lucidity.

I have followed this up and after discussions regarding the need to expand on some of the concepts, the general consensus is that the customization information in the OPA Developer Help is essentially supplemental to the API documentation (supplied with the OPA install) and that the API documentation should be the primary source of guidance in performing the customization.
As a result of this, I will be adding something to the documentation to clarify the need to reference the API documentation for guidance and the Customization section in the OPA documentation for supplemental information.

This download link is related to SAP Store and I guess there is some issue with SAP Store now. (store.sap.com) .
Anyways the link might provide access to only SDK of SMP 3.0 , but to develop mobile applications on SMP both the Runtime and SDK are to be installed and only SDK is available to public.
If you have a valid S-User credentials you can download SMP from SAP Service Marketplace - Home
Softwares Donloads --> A-Z Index --> M -->SAP mobile Platform -- ? choose the version you are looking at (2.1 / 2.2 /2.3 )
SMP 3.0 is still in Rampup only available to limited registered partners

Developer helping a client with BC

I'm a developer helping a client who uses BC. I can log into their back end and have been helping them with their website. But now a question has come up about their monthly invoice from Adobe for BC. When I log in now, I see their outstanding invoice and could pay it (Submit button) if I were the one responsible for that. But I'm not, so I click the Pay Later button so I can do my work. And my client doesn't seem to be receiving the monthly invoice from Adobe for BC via email. Do I need to tell them to log into the back end of their site to pay their monthly invoice? That seems a little lame to me.
I think what has happened is that there has been some personell changes for my client. Perhaps whomever handled paying their monthly invoice no longer works there. So I'm just trying to gather information here in order to clue them in as to what to do. Is there an Adobe ID associated with Adobe BC accounts where my client could log in somewhere—other than at the back end of their site—to deal with things like monthly payments to you and having their invoices emailed to their proper address and things like that?

Your client would need to pay the due invoices , they can pay with the payment form that you are receiving while login to site admin section.
Also ask your client to submit a ticket to support team for changing invoice email address , so that invoice should be received by them.

B1 SDK Development License - Moving To Another Server

We are a relatively new business partner and are preparing to purchase a SDK development license. After being installed and licensed, can the license be moved to another server? If so, what needs to be done to complete this transaction?

You should go to the SAP PartnerEdge Portal if you are a partner at service.sap.com/smb. Choose SAP Business One and then Licensing Request. This page will give you all the information that you need to request a new development license key and "give back" your existing license key. Licenses are hardware dependent so you would need a new one.

Where's the Designer SDK developer guide?

I'm doing some testing to see how hard it would be to programmatically build a universe based on our existing meta data. I'm able to open existing universes, but I'm having trouble exporting. When I call Universes.Export(), I get an exception that simply states, "Unable to export universe."
Why is the Designer SDK the only SDK without a developer guide?
Can anybody provide me with some sample code that builds a new universe and exports it (preferably in C#).

Notice that the only SDK without a developer guide is the Designer SDK. I'm really starting to wonder how much it is actually used.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, I can open existing universes, but I'm having trouble exporting. I just get an ambiguous error message stating that it "cannot export universe". The documentation is not up to date with the API I'm using. I'm seeing that the method signatures have changed on a few of the methods. Plus, it appears that some of the methods need to be called in a specific order for them to succeed. Without the source or good documentation, the task is pretty frustrating.
I'm trying to create a universe programmatically and then export it. Anybody have a code example?

Starting as a developer help

I am new to Apple Discussions and I am not sure if this is an appropriate question but I was wondering how to start as a developer.I don’t know the first thing about developing for Mac OSX or the iPhone, except that I need to download the Mac OSX developer SDK etc… I have downloaded both the Mac and iPhone developer software but have no idea where to go from this point. I have played around with the software but need to understand the basics of objective C etc. I am a absolute beginner with no knowledge of code or anything like that. Where do I go from here e.g. tutorials, books etc.

Where do I go from here e.g. tutorials, books etc.
The only thing better than books at this point would be a class in basic programming concepts, such as you might find at the nearest college. The ideal class would be described something like "Introduction to Programming: Basic concepts including operators, loops, functions and pointers using the "C" language". In fact your first book should also include a similar description on the back cover. In any case, your first priority should be learning to program. Your first language is of secondary importance. Once you have the basic concepts, learning new languages will be easy (Exception: avoid Microsoft-specific languages such as Visual Basic or C#).
That said, the best choice of a first language would be C, and there are no shortage of books that teach programming with C. You should also attempt to find a book and/or college course that teaches C without C++. As soon as you're comfortable with C, you'll want to learn Objective-C. C++ and Obj-C are both branches of C, but they're not complimentary. I.e., time spent learning C++ won't shorten the time to learn Obj-C, and may lengthen it.
Obj-C is the language of "Cocoa", which is the preferred app programming interface (API) for new OS X apps, and is required for native iPhone apps.
At some point, you'll be ready for a book like +Cocoa Programming for Mac(R) OS X (3rd Edition)+ by Aaron Hillegass, or +Beginning iPhone 3 Development: Exploring the iPhone SDK+ by Jeff LaMarche and David Mark. You might get one of those books right away, and read the first couple chapters. Either book is so good some students have been known to pick up both C and Obj-C as they progressed through the chapters. But if that learning curve is too steep, just go back to basic programming with C until either Hillegass or LaMarche and Mark becomes easy.
Note that I haven't yet touched on the wealth of info available at the Mac and/or iPhone Dev Centers online. That's because you should get at least several chapters into one of the above books before the resources in the Dev Center will start to make sense. After that, you'll want to live there. Just don't move there before you've got some basic programming skills and have done some simple Cocoa projects from one of your books.

SDK development for SAP BusinessObjects Explorer Accelerated version

in one of our project we need to use the engine of Explorer Accelerated an SDK application.
Is it possible or does exists sdk libraries for using only the search component of Explorer?
What we need is something that give to Explorer box our search request and give back to us a result that could be a table/webi report/xml file without using the webinterface itself of Explorer.

Oracle 11G Install on Win 7 With PL/SQL Developer Help Needed

Today is my first day with Oracle. I have tried to Install Ora11g from our network drive.I think the installation went fine. I also installated PL/SQL Developer when i try to log in i got the following error see below.

Initialization error
SQL*Net not properly installed

After i did some research online i found this solution "go to Tools > Preferences > options set manually "Oracle Home" to the folder of ORACLE_HOME and "OCI Library" to the oci.dll file located in ORACLE_HOME/bin/oci.dll"
C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin.dll <=== I believe this is my Oracle_Home
C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin\oci.dll <==== Is my OCI Library.
When i apply thse 2 paths i get the following error.
Initialization error
COuld not load " C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin.dll
OCIDLL forced to C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin.dll
LoadLibrary(C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin\.dll)returned 0
Can someone help me with this ???????????????/

Pl indicate which version of Win 7 - you will need Professional or higher - Home versions are not supported/certified, so things may or may not work as expected.
