IPOD HELP ASAP! CANT USE SONGS

today i plugged my ipod in as usual, but this time when i dis connected it i just unplugged it , then when i turned it on, i had no songs, but still all my photos?. so then i just put all fo my songs back onto my ipod, but after all teh songs were put on, i went to my ipod in itunes and all of my songs showed up in grey. it wont let me click on any of the songs, liek delte them, put lyrics on them etc. tehre just on my ipod and i can listen to them!.
PLEASEE PLEASEE tell me how i can use my songs on my itunes like to delete some songs and edit them!.

I had a similar problem when I moved music around. Make sure all your music is in one file and then check <Edit - Preferences - Advanced> to make sure iTunes is looking in the right folder.

My cat walked my keyboard.

Wow, your cat really went to town!
Go to System Preferences>Keyboard click the Keyboard tab then then the Modifier Keys button.
Make sure that the Caps Lock Key is set to Caps Lock. While you're there, make sure the other modifier keys are set to your liking.

I cant find the link on my phone to update. please help i cant use my phone at all

i need to update my phone, when i go to settings, general, then update it sends me to this website in my web browser app. this is not what i need. please help.

i went on itunes and put songs from a CD into the library.
autofill isnt working- it's saying that my ipod can't be updated
also wen i manually do it (i drag my songs 2 the ipod tab in the source list) it's cuming up with the same thing!

Does the music play in iTunes? Are they ripped CDs? Do you know the format of the songs? You might want to look at Knowledge Base Document #93453 which covers Can't Import or Play Music from CD in iTunes for Windows. Try "enabling disk use" (more information in Knowledge Base Document #61131 about Using Your iPod as a Hard Disk).

HELP! cant edit songs or create playlis

not sure if this belongs here but w/e. anyways i just bought the mp3 player. it works fine but the thing is that i cant rename my songs. you know how it shows up on the screen on the player? i mean i change it in mediasource but it doesnt end up changing when i check my player. any help please. it would be greatly appreciated.

when i try to create playlists i get the same. the playlist will show in mediasource but when i disconnect my player and check there are no playlists. i also tried to create a playlist by following the directions and it doesnt work either. please help. this thing is getting frustrated.

See my previous post on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topics One album, too many covers and One artist, many names.
Missing Artist or Album not with others by same artist may be relevant to your +certain "groups" or albums will not transfer unless placed in a specific playlist"+ issue. If not please provide more information on your symptoms.
It's also helpful to know if you are syncing your iPod to all/selected playlists or manually managing the content.

Need help! cant use CL2 DDR400

last time when i use hyperx DDR400 CL2 my neo2 only can run CL2.5 and now i change to corsair CL2 DDR400, situation even worst.. only running CL3.. no matter how i adjust the timing manually.. still the CL3.. or i need to use ceratin version of bios then only i can manually adjusted it??

you could be right on that Mike, but also know that 865PE boards HATE ram with CAS of 2.. it's just the chipset itself that cant run the CAS 2.. its been known since they came out.. i mean, some ppl sure can run at 2, but most cant.. there are a couple of excpetions ..
but how you change is go to DRAM settings in BIOS, press enter on "SPD" and go to manual... then go to CAS and change it to whatever you desire.. for you. 2.5 would be great, and then lower some of those timings, cause Hyper-X and Corsair is some good stuff

I'v installed, uninstalled, read different threads and cant figure this out. Large portions of the text just appear as vertical hash marks. XP is up to date and no viruses found.

I had this problem until just now. What you need to do is scroll down to the bottom of your homepage on itunes store. In the middle at the bottom you'll see "My Store" there you will need to select your country to get it to show $ and the correct language.

Try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
When the iPad has restarted you can force a backup via Settings > iCloud

I had to get a new mother board for my computer but i redownloaded itunes and everything else is here except my movies and tv shows i bought ...!!!! how do i fix this and get them back without having to buy them again ? i had tv shows and movies that arent here on my purchase history it shows i bought them .. but so far cant get them to redownload any suggestions please!!!

If movies or tv shows aren't playing in iTunes, I'd first make sure that the computer is authorized with the Apple ID used to make iTunes Store purchases. You may want to try de-authorizing and authorizing the computer again:

Maybe try this, on iPhone tap Settings App>select Store, near bottom>select Apple ID: at bottom>select Sign Out. Then sign in again. Worth a quick try.
