Ipod touch automatically changed my password?!?!?!
I recently had a system malfunction. My ipod died one night and i plugged it in the day, i had it set to a four number password. When i unlocked it, the alphabet password to unlock popped up. I HAVE NOT changed my password or touched it since it died. I tried to reset it multiple times without luck, an error message kept coming up in itunes. I tried to call apple but all they wanna do is charge me 30 dollars to file a complaint which is not something i wanna do considering its not my fault apples product doesnt work. i have taken really good care of it. No drops or anything, why wont it work!!!!!!
Since restoring from backup did not work I know of no way except to cut and paste them from the MacBook.

IPod touch automatically added playlist
Has anyone ever experienced the iPod touch automatically adding or duplicating playlist, if so what would cause this
As far as I know, the touch will only reconnect to networks it has been connected to before - ie the ones you have told it to connect to. Having said that, a number of people are too lazy or unlearned to change the name of their network from default set by the manufacturer - like linksys. Open networks, default names, once you connect to one the touch might just connect to the others.
You can, in fact, forget these networks. When connected, tap Settings > WiFi > then the blue > next to the network name. Tap Forget this Network.
If you really want to get rid of all of these, probably a Restore as New would be your best bet. That will reset everything and the touch will not connect to a network unless you tell it to. -
I don't know what to do about my ipod touch, I forgot the password so I cant get in, what should I do?

Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup

Then restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

How do I unlock an iPod touch from putting the password in too many times?
Restore...
From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. -
my friend took my ipod touch and did the password now its disabled and wont connect to computer?
Colton,
You'll need to connect your iPod to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restore it using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Hi - When connected to my 2014 Buick Enclave via USB, the repeat function on the iPod touch automatically engages and the songs repeat. I have to manually disengage the repeat function to finish an album, then do it again when the next album begins to repeat. There is no "repeat" button on the Enclave's system, only "shuffle", which works fine with the iPod. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
First I would go the the car system's support site.
Next:
- Reset the car system.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. -
My friend gave me his old ipod touch that had a password that he forgot..ive tried hooking it up to my itunes, but it keeps saying i need the password, how do i rest it? help?
Then get the previous owner to remove the iPod from their account
Apple's new iCloud tool can show if a used iPhone is stolen
If you can't get that done then all yo have is a poor flashlight. You are running into
Find My iPhone Activation Lock
Which is an anti-theft feature. Apple will not help since you are not the original purchaser of the iPod

Automatically change the password and block user
Hi experts,
I have a strange problem, I have start the part java, but, when takes some time, AUTOMATICALLY change the password J2EE_ADMIN and SAPJSF and block the user SAPJSF, so, it doesn´t work the portal and i have to change the password and unlock the SAPJSF, why?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,Hi Victor,
you may create another communication user as a copy of SAPJSF but having a different name. Use only the newly created user and block SAPJSF. The application that changes his password will lock an exception somewhere - either on ABAP side or on J2EE side.
Cheers,

3.Change the folder option to "View all hidden files and folders"
4.Navigate to ipod_control
5.Then go to Device
6.Then there is a file there named"_Unlocked"
7.Open that up with a text editor (Notepad) and viola the passcode is right there. -
