I have bend problem. totally accidental. i bought it from australia.

There is no international warranty.
Your warranty reside in the country you bought it from.
So you will need to go back to Australia to get your phone serviced.

    iPhones do not have an international warranty.  Warranty is valid only for the country of purchase.  This is most likely because different countries require different iPhone models.  Not reasonable to expect all countries to maintain stock for all models.

    No. The iPhone warranty is not international. You will need to have warranty service done in Oman.

    That is correct - there is no international warranty.
    Either send it to someone you trust in the US or fly back and have it looked at.

    I am form the Province of Leyte in the Philippines. I purchased an Apple TV 3rd Generation online in a store not of Apple. After days of good use the device could not detect wireless signals anymore. I contacted Apple support. They advised me to reset and restore the Apple TV. After doing the support teams suggestion nothing seemed to work. So I browsed Apple forums for solutions. I found costumers with the same experience as mine; they brought the defective device to an Apple Service Center and had a replecement. Calling the customer support the 2nd time they suggested me to visit a nearest Apple Service Center. So I contancted service Centers in Cebu and Manila, but these Service Centers do not cater Apple TV units. Calling costumer support the 3rd time I asked them to look for me a nearest Service Center Abroad and arranged a service center in Singapore for me. Unfortunately according to the customer service representative Apple Will not Shoulder Shipping fees to and from my location. I am about to ship the defective Apple TV thru DHL but the shiping charge was half the prive of the apple TV. If I will be shouldering the shipping from Singapore will cost me another half of the Apple TV price. Calling Apple the 3rd time to report this, the service representative said that they cannot help me any further. The best thing to do is to wait for Apple TV to be sold in the Apple resellers here in the Philippines and have it replace here in the Philippine. I still have the defective Apple TV 3rd Gen with.
    Ergo, When will Apple TV be available in the Philippines?

  • Service centers @ Bangalore, India, Pathetic!!

    I recently bought Nokia 603, after 15 days of use, a liquid started coming out of battery, which started erasing the printed text inside the handset. When took the care center (Silk Tele Services) , they said IMEI number is erased, and thick liquid is coming out and marked as damaged phone and said, its out of warranty now.
    Now, is that my fault!!without even trying to have a thorough check, they are just marking phones as damaged on fly.

    #NokiaIndia i hope at least you will hear my plea , Last month i got a Lumia 1520 as a Birthday gift from my Brother. It worked fine , i loved each and every feature in that phone in fact it was an amazing change from my Iphone 4 . Sadly right after 3 and half weeks it fell from my hand from my pocket to the floor the screen cracked from the inside , The top right corner got smudged and the network bars just dropped with a no signal symbol . So immediately the very next day as any other Nokia Customer would do , I just went to the #NokiaCare , Explained to them about all the issues and i was ready to pay for all the damages just to get my phone back in Hand They registered and wrote all my issues with details . The #Nokia service agents promised me they would repair the phone . I was satisfied with their promising hospitality went back home with a belief that they would repair my phone. So they called me after 4-5 days just to tell me that the screen is shattered from the inside and the network component is bend so those two should be replaced , Then i asked them for the estimate they gave me a sum amount of 15,000 Rs just for the screen and Rs4000 for replacing the network component and additional 500rs as service cost . I asked them about the warranty and they told me warranty can't be used to cover physical damage . Sad for me i never thought about getting an Insurance back when i got the phone so they indirectly blamed me . And then i said yes to the technical person involved to continue the repair process , Nokia Care asked me to give them 15-17 days time to repair the phone. Suddenly to my horror one of the Service agent gave me a call and tells me ''Sir sorry to say this Only your phone screen can be repaired and not the network component'' . I asked her ''What's the use of a phone which i can't use to make calls'' . She just gives me a reply saying ''I Don't know'' . I Wonder how did #Nokia Service Agents instead of treating a Customer as King as well as satisfy them with their complaints say something like that. Then i spoke to some technical expert in that branch he tells me the network component is bend and he will replace the component which can get the phone back to normal. I Wonder how can a network component bend just like that from a fall ? I Believe #NokiaIndia #Nokia #Lumia is known for their durability . I just can't believe if its they drop that caused it or maybe a Manufacturing defect . In spite of all this i was ready to pay the whole amount just to get my phone back because i loved that set . Today i get a call from Nokia care , They told me they can't repair the phones network component i asked them what do i do they asked me to go and collect the phone and that they can't repair the phone. Depressed and Unhappy i went to the care center they gave me back my phone , Giving it a look i found that the casing wasn't done properly below the volume button the case bulged out i showed it to the concerned person who was in charge with me she just took the phone and did nothing but give it back . So my question to #NokiaIndia  #Nokia is how can something be unrepairable just from a fall ? Its not like i broke the phone into two and gave it to the #Nokiacare just to do some miracle and get it back alive . Its totally a functioning phone with a shattered screen from the inside , Smudged right top corner and network component with a manufacturing defect . I Don't think just from a fall it can get bent . Really Disappointing customer care service firstly , charging a bomb to the customer just to repair it . Even after all this drama telling the Customer that the phone can't be repaired . JUST THREE AND HALF WEEK OLD PHONE WORTH 47K .. Am i supposed to just forget the phone ?? or do i get any justice at all ? But seriously thanks to the amazing Nokia Care agents who Indirectly asked me to just forget my phone . Really disappointing , I pray that no one should go through a situation just like this . Spending a Bombshell for the phone and the company themselves can't repair what they made ... Hopefully someone serves justice to Customers who would have faced similar experience from the official #Nokia #Nokiacare service executives . Or does it just happen in India because of the emotion-less Service agents that i encountered with . #Nokia #Lumia #NokiaIndia #Microsoft.     I have un-present feeling with your Apple Care Center service. It’s stared with your front line staff Ms. Winnie Tang Apple Care Center (SN). I have purchased an iMac Intel 24’ though the Apple on line store on August 8, 2007 and received the unit on August 20, 2007. At the beginning, I feel everything fine but a bit unexpected slow/crash on the new unit, it may caused by the third party software but I never thought this is the problem related to the hardware. One day, I open a blank document and I realized that I have bought a defected unit. I found a black spot on my screen upper left corner that was hardly to notify if I have color desktop picture; furthermore, I also found a burning marks (wave form) on the glass cover inner surface which also appear on the upper left corner and I found abnormal heat built up from iMac internal GPU/Power Supply specially under Media/Graphic application is running. I have reported this event to Apple Care Center on November 6, 2007 and I was told that I have to keep the unit off for safety reason until it get fix. The subject unit was over the 14days refund/return policy but I spoke with your staff to ask for the exception to exchange my unit due to the poor workmanship. One of your staff Winnie expressed that this is the case that I need to call for repair without exception. Therefore, I took her advice to have Apple Service Center to arrange the repair service for me. I have an Apple technician came to inspect my unit on November 7, 2006 and advice that LCD need to replace due to the poor workmanship and will look at the Glass on next visit. Eventually, I have received a LCD replacement service on November 14, 2007 but I found he damaged my iMac Aluminum Case by miss placing the iSlight cable connector in between the Aluminum Case and the LCD monitor and damage the Aluminum Case by forcing to fastener the screws on the side of the Aluminum Case. I have reported this to Apple Care Center on the same day but I was told by your staff that my case was being handle by Winnie instead. I have call Winnie this morning regarding this matter and Winnie transfer my call to her superior, product manager, and his superior, and her superior, and … etc for better arrangement but I was getting an answer that I need to deal with CASE – Apple Service Provider myself for the Aluminum Case damage matter instead and other than that (ie the up coming Glass replacement, she will follows it for me) and I was told that she is the final decision maker and hand up my call. I feel I have no choice but writing this complain to you for this kind of treatment, up to this moment no one from your office can advice me who will responsible for the Aluminum Case damage and what kind of action will take to repair the subject iMac. Although I have reported the symptom after the 14days inspection period but within a month or so, I found the poor workmanship on this brand new unit which is not my fault and talking about hardly notify black spot on the LCD and logic broad failure is not my profession. A company like Apple should deliver a HQ products and services to customer. I felt that I brought a trouble other than an iMac. Why? Please comment!

    I assume when you mentioned "SN", you meant the country Singapore?? Are you based here?
    First of all, I think you must understand the whole Apple Care Call Centre system then maybe you will be "enlighten" a bit...
    All calls make to the Apple Care Centre Hotline here in Singapore is routed to Australia, where they are physically based, i.e. there are no single call centre staff here in Singapore.
    When they take your call and make a case out of your mac, they will go through lengthly with you to determine what is wrong with your mac, I am sure you went through that. Then when repair is needed, they will refer you to one of the few contracted service centers based here in Singapore. These are, as far as I know, again, authorized Apple Service Centers, by Apple Asia or Apple Singapore, again, they are not Apple staff.
    These service centers will repair and replace parts for your macs and return to you, closing the case.
    If you felt your case really needs hearing from Apple, then I suggest you call or visit Apple Singapore directly, and "demand nicely", talk to a product manager or someone, and present him/her your case. Because if you call Apple Care Hotline again, they will just go through their trained routine system... and that may not help much or satisfied your repair or replacement needs now. But of course be nice and courteous when presenting your case to Apple.

    I purchased a bb z10 from USA last year now I have moved to India. my z10 has started giving a problem. When I visted a service centre in India regarding that problem they said that they do not have the authority to accept any forign bb handset for repair. Please suggest me a way out so i could get my handset repaired  or will only be left with a option to dump it with my garbage and also will not suggest bb to any of the Indian living in USA if my problem is not solved.

    2. The service centers in India are private vendors. From my understanding from others, what you were told is exactly true. They technically are contracted to Airtel, Vodafone and other Indian mobile providers.
    3. If you tell us here, with detail, etc., what's the problem on your Z10 we might be able to help you out.
    4. Since we're not BlackBerry employees, just users like yourself, threats etc., mean little and won't really get you much help around here. Being nice, extra detailed and all will get you a long way.

    I have an IPad Air bought from the US. I am from the Philippines. My Air lately is not working even if I tried to restore it. Does it covers international warranty?

    The iPad Air warranty includes the same qualifying statement as the iPhone warranty  That is:
    "IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.
    Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device."
    However, with the iPad Air there is only one world-wide wifi only model (model A1474), and one world-wide wifi+cellular model (model A1475), so you may find you can get service whereever you are.  iPhone models, and previous versions of the iPad, are not identical models everywhere, so the above warranty statement often means that you literally cannot get service outside of your home country as nobody but the Apple stores in your home country even have your particular model available.
    So, while technically an iPad is not an international warranty, people have posted of getting service when away from home since all iPad Air models are the same everywhere.  All you can do is take it to your nearest Apple or Apple authorised service center and ask - worse they can so is no.

    There is a problem insofar as you did not buy the phone.   Any warranty would therefore apply to the buyer.   What I would suggest is this ...
    With the receipt in your hand, telephone the store where it was purchased.  Explain the situation and ask them how you should proceed.    You may find they'll only deal with your friend but if he/she is willing, it can still be pursued in your friend's name.
    Once you have agreed a way of getting it serviced you will need to return the phone, and as I suggested, by a registered post system that requires proof of delivery.  Most postal services do this.
    Pack the phone, preferably in its original box and surround it with extra packing. You do not want anyone to have grounds to say it was further damaged in transit.
    Include a dated letter stating what the fault is and affix to that a copy of the receipt.

    If it was originally sold in the U.S, then the warranty is only good in the U.S

    Is there an "APPLE STORE" in India or you just went in a reseller store?
    There is a replacement program for sleep/wake button for free. Just look for an Apple Store and make a reservation at Genius Bar.
    I have an iPhone 5, bought in Dubai U.A.E.
    It is a US model (model A1428) which is different of the model use here in Italy/Europe
    My serial number is qualified for battery replacement program.
    I thought the Apple Store wouldn't repair my phone because I bought it from another country , a different model and it is already out of warranty.
    The Apple store's staff just checked if my iPhone's serial number is eligible for the program and he replaced the battery for free today.
