Service centers @ Bangalore, India, Pathetic!!

I recently bought Nokia 603, after 15 days of use, a liquid started coming out of battery, which started erasing the printed text inside the handset. When took the care center (Silk Tele Services) , they said IMEI number is erased, and thick liquid is coming out and marked as damaged phone and said, its out of warranty now.
Now, is that my fault!!without even trying to have a thorough check, they are just marking phones as damaged on fly.

#NokiaIndia i hope at least you will hear my plea , Last month i got a Lumia 1520 as a Birthday gift from my Brother. It worked fine , i loved each and every feature in that phone in fact it was an amazing change from my Iphone 4 . Sadly right after 3 and half weeks it fell from my hand from my pocket to the floor the screen cracked from the inside , The top right corner got smudged and the network bars just dropped with a no signal symbol . So immediately the very next day as any other Nokia Customer would do , I just went to the #NokiaCare , Explained to them about all the issues and i was ready to pay for all the damages just to get my phone back in Hand They registered and wrote all my issues with details . The #Nokia service agents promised me they would repair the phone . I was satisfied with their promising hospitality went back home with a belief that they would repair my phone. So they called me after 4-5 days just to tell me that the screen is shattered from the inside and the network component is bend so those two should be replaced , Then i asked them for the estimate they gave me a sum amount of 15,000 Rs just for the screen and Rs4000 for replacing the network component and additional 500rs as service cost . I asked them about the warranty and they told me warranty can't be used to cover physical damage . Sad for me i never thought about getting an Insurance back when i got the phone so they indirectly blamed me . And then i said yes to the technical person involved to continue the repair process , Nokia Care asked me to give them 15-17 days time to repair the phone. Suddenly to my horror one of the Service agent gave me a call and tells me ''Sir sorry to say this Only your phone screen can be repaired and not the network component'' . I asked her ''What's the use of a phone which i can't use to make calls'' . She just gives me a reply saying ''I Don't know'' . I Wonder how did #Nokia Service Agents instead of treating a Customer as King as well as satisfy them with their complaints say something like that. Then i spoke to some technical expert in that branch he tells me the network component is bend and he will replace the component which can get the phone back to normal. I Wonder how can a network component bend just like that from a fall ? I Believe #NokiaIndia #Nokia #Lumia is known for their durability . I just can't believe if its they drop that caused it or maybe a Manufacturing defect . In spite of all this i was ready to pay the whole amount just to get my phone back because i loved that set . Today i get a call from Nokia care , They told me they can't repair the phones network component i asked them what do i do they asked me to go and collect the phone and that they can't repair the phone. Depressed and Unhappy i went to the care center they gave me back my phone , Giving it a look i found that the casing wasn't done properly below the volume button the case bulged out i showed it to the concerned person who was in charge with me she just took the phone and did nothing but give it back . So my question to #NokiaIndia  #Nokia is how can something be unrepairable just from a fall ? Its not like i broke the phone into two and gave it to the #Nokiacare just to do some miracle and get it back alive . Its totally a functioning phone with a shattered screen from the inside , Smudged right top corner and network component with a manufacturing defect . I Don't think just from a fall it can get bent . Really Disappointing customer care service firstly , charging a bomb to the customer just to repair it . Even after all this drama telling the Customer that the phone can't be repaired . JUST THREE AND HALF WEEK OLD PHONE WORTH 47K .. Am i supposed to just forget the phone ?? or do i get any justice at all ? But seriously thanks to the amazing Nokia Care agents who Indirectly asked me to just forget my phone . Really disappointing , I pray that no one should go through a situation just like this . Spending a Bombshell for the phone and the company themselves can't repair what they made ... Hopefully someone serves justice to Customers who would have faced similar experience from the official #Nokia #Nokiacare service executives . Or does it just happen in India because of the emotion-less Service agents that i encountered with . #Nokia #Lumia #NokiaIndia #Microsoft. Hope this goes Viral and my phone gets replaced or repaired .

    2. The service centers in India are private vendors. From my understanding from others, what you were told is exactly true. They technically are contracted to Airtel, Vodafone and other Indian mobile providers.
    3. If you tell us here, with detail, etc., what's the problem on your Z10 we might be able to help you out.
    4. Since we're not BlackBerry employees, just users like yourself, threats etc., mean little and won't really get you much help around here. Being nice, extra detailed and all will get you a long way.

  • Why does apple sell phones with "INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY" when they cant service the phone in India, which has been bought outside India ? Whats the use of their registered service centers ?

    i got my iphone 5 as a gift from my friend when he went on a business tour to Dubai. i have a got problem with the native camera app and i contacted the customer care more then 3-5 times and they finally gave me a solution to check with the service centers avialble in  my city. i went all the way there from my place and they said you cant service your phone over here since its has been bought outisde India ! then why do APPLE ship phones ? why do they have REGISTERED SERVICE CENTRES in India ? why do they sell apple products with the tag INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY ?

    There is a problem insofar as you did not buy the phone.   Any warranty would therefore apply to the buyer.   What I would suggest is this ...
    With the receipt in your hand, telephone the store where it was purchased.  Explain the situation and ask them how you should proceed.    You may find they'll only deal with your friend but if he/she is willing, it can still be pursued in your friend's name.
    Once you have agreed a way of getting it serviced you will need to return the phone, and as I suggested, by a registered post system that requires proof of delivery.  Most postal services do this.
    Pack the phone, preferably in its original box and surround it with extra packing. You do not want anyone to have grounds to say it was further damaged in transit.
    Include a dated letter stating what the fault is and affix to that a copy of the receipt.

  • How to contact MSI Authorized personnel for/from Bangalore, India.

    Hello,
    I bought a MSI motherboard P7N Platinum (under 3 years warranty), based computer from the Microport shop, NR Road. I had a problem with this computer and took it back to the same shop. The sales person most probably misguided me that the motherboard is at fault and made me RMA the motherboard.
    The MSI RMA center D-LInk people made me wait 1 month and then have given me a P7N Platinum, but a much older motherboard and now the 3D application are working really really slow and the monitor keeps freezing for fraction of seconds, before changing to the next frame.
    The previos motherboard used to display all the 3D applications fine.
    Could someone give me the name/phone number for me to contact MSI Authorized personnel for/from Bangalore, India as I am not happy with the service provided by D-Link and feel cheated having bought a MSI product.

    Sorry, but you must be mistaken.  The defaul PCI Express Frequency is 100 MHz.  Setting it to 200 would most certainly kill your board or the video card.

    Good lord, what are you doing there?  Do not set the PCI Express Frequency to 170 MHz unless you want to blow something up.

    That is normal.  Please clear CMOS with the main A/C power cable removed from your PSU and load "Optimized Defaults" in BIOS Setup.  Under no circumstances should you raise the PCI-E Frequency to 200 MHz.  That's is what you do if you want to actually kill something.
    I hope you are lucky and have not blown something to pieces yet.

    This is a rant about terrible after sales support in Bangalore, India from your authorized reseller. 
    We purchased a new photosmart plus recently after the older HP laserjet 3055 conked out. The older printer was to be repaired while we also agreed to purchase a new photosmart plus.
    Its been a month since the laserjet was taken away for a suspected motherboard failure - we havent received it back yet.
    And the photosmart plus: we've been facing repeated cartridge changes. The black ink cartridge is either unavailable or the service center is just lax in following up on our requests.
    This forum post is just the culmination of a week full of calls and threats to the reseller - systech to send us cartridges and return the older laserjet.
    At the moment - we've stopped all printing (4 days now) and terribly harried!

    netphonewala should unlock the units first. If the devices are locked or provisioned with them then you will not be able to use them with any other provider. The current ITSP where the devices are registered will be the ones to unlock the units.

    iPhones do not have an international warranty.  Warranty is valid only for the country of purchase.  This is most likely because different countries require different iPhone models.  Not reasonable to expect all countries to maintain stock for all models.

    If you purchased in the UAE then it must be returned to the seller in the UAE for repair or service under warranty
    NO Authorised servicer in India will touch it as it did not originate in India
    If you purchased in an UNauthorised seller in UAE then you will have to find out where it came from for any warranty support

    Try the following.
    Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-56500/sp5646​0.exe
    When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
    When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
    Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
    Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete.  Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices.  Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if this has had any effect on the audio issue.
