  • Is iTunes12.0.1.26 compatible with iPad classic model mc293 version 2.0.4?

Is iTunes12.0.1.26 compatible with iPod Classic model mc293 version 2.0.4?
I cannot get this iPod to accept any songs from the latest iTunes version.  When I connect it to my MacBook the message "Connected Eject before disconnecting" shows and stays there.  An on-screen message appears on the MacBook which says:
"iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod"
I have done these things but they make no difference.

    Do a clean (re-)install:
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    * Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Problems with reverting to an earlier version

The update with Flash Player was causing problems, so I uninstalled Flash Player 11 and then installed Flash Player 10. But I now have Flash Player 10 Plugin and FlashPlayer 11 Active X on my computer. I am not sure how this happened, but is this OK or is this going to cause me more problems?
Have now just checked again in Control and it also says I now have Adobe 11 plug in. So I guess I am back to where I started.
I saw my original question but could not find out how to attach this question to it. Sorry.

    Dear Pat,
Thank you. I have received the exact same reply from Amreso.
I thank you both for your replies. If the problem occurs again, I shall follow your advice.
I just need to pluck up the courage. I get so nervous with the computer when it plays up.

  • CS3 file not compatible with Photoshop CS4?

My son uses Photoshop CS3 at college. He worked all day on an image (120MB), and saved it on a USB stick. When opening at home with Photoshop CS4, the "Reading Photoshop format" appears, then an error message "Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."
He has been burned before by a USB stick, but all the other files seem OK.
Is there a solution to this?

^First thing I did was make a copy.
QuickTime Picture Viewer (which seems to open other PSD files) says it is corrupted.
Adobe Bridge can read the metadata, gives no preview, and won't open the file.
    Any other thoughts?

  • Is CS3 Design Standard compatible with Windows 7 64-bits and MS Office 2010 Pro Plus?

    Hi,
I have been googling around to see if Adobe CS3 Design Standard is compatible with Windows 7 64-bits with MS Office 2010 Pro Plus, but I couldn't find a decent answer.
If anyone here has any idea on this, please let me know.
As far as i know Adobe CS3 comes with Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro which is not compatible with MS Office 2010, so I am sort of worried that I will need to upgrade my CS3 to CS6.
    Any advises are welcome.
    Thanks.

I don't know if Acrobat 8 is Win 7 64 bit compatible or if it's supported. The rest of the apps should be fine.
But I do think you'll have issues with Office 2010 files being placed into InDesign.
Moving to CS6 is something you should be thinking about very soon. You only get upgrade pricing until the end of the year, but I highly recommend taking a look at Creative Cloud. At $29.99/month for the first year it's a bargain.

  • When will CS3 be fully compatible with Leopard?

I haven't read any definitive answers to this question.
Adobe says when Acrobat 8.1.2 Pro is released in late Jan08: Leopard FAQ
But the 8.1.2 update this month didn't say anything about Leopard...
Does anyone know? We've been waiting to migrate to 10.5 for a couple of months now and CS3 is the last hold-up.

I understand CS3 came out before Leopard. But Leopard is a whole new operating system, they give core developers like Adobe months and months to make their software workable for the new OS. Third party developers always take alphas and betas from the OS builds, do they not? Is it the requirement that Apple make each and every software piece compatible with it's OS? So, they in essence have to do the third party's developer's work?
Further, if it's not compatible, then what grounds does Adobe have telling customers that it is. That would be a lie, then, wouldn't it? I'm just sayin. And I don't have Leopard OR CS3 yet, but I sure don't like the fact that Adobe is being pretty quiet about these issues--it takes someone some digging to figure this out, then they find engineers who are basically claiming it's not compatible, and to wait for likely 18 months until 10.6, and if I were Adobe's legal dept. I'd probably delete this post.
As far as *everyone* having issues, it doesn't seem to be the case--I am reading several threads where many have figured it out. Maybe I'll be lucky.
I can certainly see if Apple changed the specs (I'm not sure what this means, do they not provide seeds to you?), Adobe having a LOT to complain about. But I have not seen evidence of this other than an Adobe engineer calling the OS Buggy. Proof?
I think Apple being quiet about it is that they don't allow their staff to blame others in blanket statements on forums in direct contradiction to what they warrant in writing the software to be compatible with. Usually things like these come from press releases or a kb. Or Steve Jobs <g>
Buko, your blanket statement about CS3 being perfect in Tiger doesn't seem to wash. A quick look through the Apple forums and the forums here pretty much show that not to be the case. What seems to be clear is that Adobe's registration and auto update program are the problem. I won't go so far as to say they are poorly written and executed, but the scores of people who have had and continue to have numerous issues IN TIGER certainly point in that direction.
I suppose we could blame Apple for that, too?

  • Firefox 4 is apparently not compatibile with MacOS 10.5.8 PPC since after downloading and trying to open a pop-up says it is not compatible with my system. This version is probably for MacOS 10.5 Intel users. Unless there's another reason?

When Firefox 4 was proposed, I immediately checked the system requirements for Mac user:
    "MacOS 5
    MacOS 6"
So I downloaded it, since my OS is 10.5.8 (PPC), I thought I was fine. When downloaded, the Firefox icon showed a Stop sign in the middle: maybe a new logo? But when trying to open it, a window popped up saying this version was not compatible with my system. Therefore, using Time Machine, I reverted back to Firefox 3.6.16.
If this is the case, you should absolutely warn '''PPC''' users not to download Firefox 4. Your version is probably for '''Intel''' versions.
Unless you come up with a fix, I won't be able to use Firefox 4 until I change computers, having updated my system to the last possible upgrade.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

  • I get constant notifications to update to a safer and better Firefox. I've tried many times with no success. Now it tells me my computer is not compatible with a newer or updated version of Firefox. What can I do to make it more compatible?

Mac mini OS X 10.5 Firefox 3.6.13 dmg

You could use firefox 3.6, which is old but still supported and secure. However the best solution is to give up on using Google Toolbar because Google no longer support it with firefox, mainly because it has little to offer.
You can still save google bookmarks by copying them into Firefox. Please have a look at
    * [[google Toolbar is not compatible with Firefox]] <-- clickable link -- <br> which may help with some ideas and proposed solutions.
I am hoping the Norton report you refer to merely says your system has vulnerabilities, rather than that it has an actual infection (or that it has dealt with or quarantined any malware).

  • Which inkjet printer is compatible with my iMac OS X version 10.8.5 computer?

Hello:  I need some help.  Which inkjet printer is compatible with my I Mac OS X version 10.8.5 computer?

I am confused. On the Apple KB article that you suggested, the Canon Pixma MX922 does not show that it is compatible with my computer.
It is listed. It is shown as the MX920 series, because different countries have a different name for this model (it's known as MX926 in Australia).
Are you wanting to connect the MX to your wireless network or direct to the Mac via USB cable? Either way, the supporting printer and scanner driver will be downloaded from Apple and installed on your Mac.

  • How to make JasperReports Server compatible with safari 5.1.7 version

    Hi
My JasperReports Server - Pro is compatible with safari 4.0 browser and safari 5.0 browser but i want to make it compatible with safari 5.1.7 browser My jasperserver is having a proxy address like "abc.com" instead of localhost:8080/jasperserver-pro/login.html.
The problem is, Unable to login through Safari 5.1.7 browser, I guess facing a redirection problem. But i am able to log in with my actual address (localhost).
The above problem is only with safari 5.1.7 and is working perfectly with firefox, chrome, IE and safari 4.0 and safari 5.0.
I am sorry if this is not the right place to discuss the above issue.

    Hello,
Thanks for tip. I tried it but unfortunately it still needs 7.08 to work and I'm not sure why. Even worse is the automatic updater that runs just downloads 7.0. So a user downloads the update, then gets another error message saying they need an even newer version of reader. Very lame.
Plus, once you do get the 7.08 update and open the file you get no less than three pop ups about not saving the file, auto fill options, and one other I forget. Overall a very awkward way to view a very simple file.
I was hoping this would make it easier for customers to fill out a form but it looks like it will accomplish the opposite.

  • FireFox 8.0.1 does not work with most sites that functioned with no problems under earlier versions. I wish to uninstall and go back to an earlier version.

The more I attempt to use FireFox 8.0.1 the more problems I have. I find considerable interference with the functioning of RoboForm, my bookmarks keep disappearing, many sites that worked fine earlier and work fine with the Opera browser do not work under version 8. Where can I download an earlier version of FireFox

You can [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling%20Firefox?s=uninstall+firefox&r=0&as=s uninstall] Firefox 8 first before you downgrade to Firefox 7. However, when you uninstall, make sure that you '''don't''' choose the option "'''Remove my Firefox Personal Data'''".
You can access a list of [ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ Previous Versions of Firefox], however, note that Firefox recommends using the latest version since older version may have security and safety vulnerabilities.
'''P.S:''' it may be a good idea to create a Restore Point before you uninstall, in case you mess up, in which case you can just restore and start over.
