Is it good to use xmlrpc in flash lite 2.1

Hi Friends,
I am new developer to flash lite and i want to use xmlrpc
protocol in my Application.
So is there any body who can suggest should i use it or not.

i have one j2me application which uses j2me xmlrpc and server
only support xmlrpc protocol. and i want to do same xmlrpc protocol
for flash lite application..

Hi, I need to visualize a SWF file in my Intermec CN3 HH, but
when I try to do that, visualization isn't good, i've installed
Adobe flash lite 2.1 and MFlashPlayer 7 to visualize my SWF, but
doesn't work, do I still need another program?, or what can I do?,
I exported from Captivate 3 that SWF file compatible with Flash 7,
do i need to make it compatible with flash lite 2.1, do i need to
export to Flash CS3, and then export from there to flash lite 2.1?,

Flash lite - database

I am new to Flash lite and i am currently working on an app
for Nokia N95 for a school project. Can anyone tell my how i can
get the phone to connect to a database and then pullout data and

Hi Morten,
First you will need to be proficient (but not expert) in 3
technologies, databases (eg MySQL), server scripting (eg PHP) and
Flash Lite.
Then in MySQL, you set up the database to store the data.
Write a PHP script to read the data in the database, then parse and
'print' that data into name>value (eg
&variable1=data1&variable2=data2) pairs which Flash Lite
can then read as variables and values. Then you need to use
loadVars() in Flash Lite to read the name>value pairs from the
PHP script.
Thats it in its basics, there are more detailed examples in
the
Adobe Mobile and
Devices Developer Center.

I have seen a simple Application where the Employee's Image collected from Database is nicely displayed on to the DataGrid control .
using syntax somewhat like this :

                              itemRenderer="mx.controls.Image"/>
But the author has confused me at the end saying this line :
"Drop-In Item Renderers are simple and easy to use and satisfy specific use cases nicely. However, they provide no flexibility whatsoever.
Can anybody please let me know what flexibility they are lacking of ??

Currently i haven't found any documentation describing how to compile and use this tlfx.
I went through the change log to see what was added, and it looked quite good.
I have tried to compile it, but my experience with fb4 is very limited. I have only worked with it for a couple of months.
I would like a description of how to compile and use this tlfx liblrary in a flex application, so that i can have table supprt as well as support for bullets and numbering.

You can transfer photos outside of iTunes. I do it all the time. THat said, i have a 50/50 success rate with them. I'd avoid sandisk and kingston, their bundled software triggers the 'too much power' warning.
I've had mixed luck with lexar, some work, some don't.
I did have good luck with an older 4 gig geek squad one.
Look for drives without software on them, without bright LED lights and I haven't gotten any larger than 4 gig to work, but that may just be me.
For a less troublesome way? h onestly, I use a SD card that I've formatted with the DCIM folder. I've never had one of them trigger the 'too much power' warning. Just make sure they're not SDXC. those don't work.

What camera resolution is used by the Flash Player camera settings manager? I am referring to the camera settings that you have to pull up by right-clicking on a Flash Player swf that is running, and from the right-click menu you hit settings...select the camera tab...and then you can hit the little camera icon and will show you the live video feed from the camera.
In order for the live feed to be displayed, Flash Player requests a camera resolution mode to the driver. What mode is being requested?
For example, could it be 160x120 @ 30fps?
Or is it 176x144 @ 30fps?

I have the same cam as you (it's apretty darn good cam IMHO).
I don't ever see any resolution request when I click the icon.
My cam initializes at 1920X1080, per the logitech specs. The box in the settings is 4:3, but the cam is running at 16:9, in apps like Skype, or FaceTime (Mac).
It shows the same setup screen in WIn XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8, which ALL share the same cam on my setup.
Being as the cam feed in the setup is 4:3, I'd have to say the resolution is 160:120 as opposed to 176:144 which would be a 5.3:3 or 16:9.

Problem is:
Flash Player for IE11 (which is the worst browser ever developed - BAR NONE) is a Microsoft product, when it comes right down to it.
Adobe writes the base code and yes, they do collaborate on updates for it, but the gang in Redmond alter the plug-in and add "proprietary" code before embedding it, and at that point it's "their baby".
There are two (2) registry keys - 1 for 32 bit IE and the other for 64 bit IE, as well as a KB patch that prevent all but the most experienced Windows users from ever touching the Flash Player plug-in for IE. So there's NO WAY you could have done a clean install of the ActiveX plug-in in Windows 8. Unless you're an uber-geek, you can only update it through Windows Update.
WIn 8 is an abomination and IE11 made it worse. IE has always been the "problem child" of browsers, failing to handle CSS, Javascript, some PHP and most design "tweaks" that good webmasters can use with other browsers, trouble free.
I have IE8 on XP, 9 on VIsta, 11 on 7, 10 on 8 and 11 on 8.1... but they're all for testing only. I'd have to be out of my mind to ever think of using IE as my primary browser. ActiveX controls have to be disabled formost stuff and that opens millions of security holes in IE.
You've got a good video card and a decent sound card. It's a shame to waste them on a pile of garbage like IE, just because it came with Windows.

Photo editing software using Flash Lite

Hi all, I had been searching for an answer to this question
for quite some time and did not find any. Please help. Is it
possible to create a photo editing software using Flash Lite for
Nokia devices? Am expecting features such as brightness, contrast,
cropping, save and load function, etc... I am not expecting to
create it myself, but outsourcing the development.
If you know of any good development house, please let me
know.

Using layers and flash clips

Hello...
I am having terrible trouble getting flash movies and
graphics to align themselves 'fixed' and correctly when I bring
them up in the browser window.
When I place them where I want them in Dreamweaver, it looks
fine... Then, when I hit F12 to test it, they are sometimes out of
place. Also, when I manage to work it so that they ARE in place, if
I have a margin open in the browser window (such as 'favourites')
the flash area moves.
What do I do in order to make sure the flash layer remains
totally and permanently fixed where I want it, and doesn't move
around when browser margins are used?
